The Time Warp 1974 15 September 1974: One Direction Spencer Malthus and J. Walsingham talk about a pocketwatch or a locket or something... October - November 1974: It Belongs in a Museum A collection of correspondence between Spencer Malthus and Ainsley Alcott in which Spencer Malthus tries to acquire a certain locket. Mid-December 1974: The Item in Question Spencer becomes an uncle, introduces New Year to Christmas, and finally manages to get his 31 December 1974: The Beginning is the End is the Beginning Michael breaks and enters into Spencer's apartment and sniffs some clothes before finding the locket in question. He opens it and all Time breaks loose. 1 January 1937 The Ballroom, Beauxbatons: Oh Dear It's just after midnight in France and Sophie Thistlecomb's watching the sky from the ballroom. Come see the lights with her as the sky changes from black to green to blue and back again. Muggle London, Elsewhere: Displacement Theory Muggleborn witch goes to muggle party. Muggleborn witch ends up crashing someone else's ...without her so much as moving. But perhaps the world around her has? St. Mungo's, Elsewhere: We Solemnly Swear We're Sober It was supposed to be a quiet night at the office, until half the wizarding world decided to get hungover. All at once. And none of them even really seem drunk. Chaos ensues. The Ministry of Magic, Elsewhere: Time Flies Chaos erupts in the Department of Mysteries, specifically the Hall of Prophecies and the Time Room. Summer 1941: Nightmare Pandora Duke is tormented by Geryon Crowley. Summer 1941: All That I'm Living For Pandora Duke and Sarah Ann Darcy are brought to the Institute. Experiments begin, and conditions deteriorate. Summer 1941: And Time Goes By Experiments begin on Charles Kedding, conditions deteriorate. September 1941: Breaking News - The Cost of Being Extraordinary The Daily Prophet is sent a letter with pictures of where people are being held, and what their living conditions are really like. Shetland Institute is exposed and students are freed. 21 December 1941: Operation Wilk Merlin's Order of Defence (MOD) discovers the final Institute and takes it over. The Hexenreich & The Resistance September 1944 - August 1945: The Invasion October 1944: Filling In Headmistress Ivanova gives teaching assistants Genevieve Adele Lawrence and Audric Knutsson additional responsibilities in watching over the students. 1 November 1944: Don't It Always Seem to Go Professor Proud discovers that the Sorting Hat has gone missing. In its place is a beautifully decorated phoenix tail feather. November 1944: Have You Seen My Hat? Headmistress Ivanova questions Oliver Razi regarding the disappearance of the Sorting Hat. No progress is made in uncovering its whereabouts. Late November 1944: Stump Mining [Herb II] Professor Oliveroot's wand has gone missing from his desk drawer, but the only foul play suspected by the Professor is on the part of his students. ...He later finds a beautifully decorated phoenix tail feather. February 1945: The Case of the Missing Comb Professor Leighton's favorite comb goes missing. It is a 4:10 p.m., 7 June 1945: As the Dust Settles The Ministry of Magic is attacked as Thierry Perilloux sets off explosions in the Magical Accidents and Catastrophes break room and the bathroom of the Magical Games and Sports department after disabling communications. He feigns panic and successfully blends into the crowd. Meanwhile, searches for clues and any signs of suspicious activity are underway. Martin Hawksworth directs Aurors of all ranks, while Shepard T. Kedding directs the MoD forces. Perilloux slips into the Minister’s office undetected amid the chaos. Survivors are found and rescued. 4:21 p.m., 7 June 1945: WWN BREAKING NEWS A transmission on the Ministry’s attack, the details of which are hazy and indefinite. 4:30 p.m., 7 June 1945: Upheaval [Transfig III] During the Transfiguration final exam, in which the students' wands are collected "to prevent cheating", Genevieve Lawrence takes Wilhelmina Mason captive and demands to speak to the Headmistress. Students have mixed reactions ranging from staying seated and quiet to standing and shouting insults at the woman. Emma Grace Birch manages to arm herself and attempts to disarm the invader. She is tragically killed in retaliation, and other dissenters are bound or silenced prior to Headmistress Ivanova's arrival with Audric Knutsson. Genevieve demands that the Headmistress remove the anti-apparition barriers around the castle on pain of the death of her daughter. Headmistress Ivanova reluctantly agrees. 4:34 p.m., 7 June 1945: Black or White [Herb EC] During the Herbology extra credit, Jaecar Gruber interrupts the class by taking Estella Ricardus hostage. The Professors and students gathered there attempt to stop him from leaving the Greenhouse with her. Professor Flair spouts a haunting prophecy: "A snake will die so a lion may live." 4:50 p.m., 7 June 1945: Game On Audric Knutsson informs Headmistress Ivanova of the capture of her daughter. After a battle of wits and spells, she demands to be taken to her daughter as proof that the girl is unharmed. 7 June 1945, following Upheaval: Set the Stage The Professors and students are all disarmed and corralled into the Great Hall, where they are held hostage. The invading forces await word from the invasion force that is attempting to use the school as leverage to overtake the Ministry. Students and Professors await their fates in The Aftermath. 7 June 1945, following the events at Hogwarts: The Hero's Dilemma Alone in his office, Minister Hir contemplates the action he must take in response to the invasion in the Ministry and at Hogwarts. 7 June 1945, following The Hero's Dilemma: The Price to be Paid Ministry in lockdown. Minister (now ex-Minister) Hir surrenders the control of the Ministry over to the Germans/French. Hir vanishes from the face of the earth, Ministry workers are at a loss, while the DP documents this tragic, tragic event. 7 June 1945, following The Hero's Dilemma: Fortitude General Shepard T. Kedding watches the Ministry surrender from the outskirts of the room. After the Minister disappears, he slips Colonel Vincent Kennith Thalman a Galleon Portkey and issues his orders: to do nothing when the Hexenreich takes Kedding prisoner, to secure the location the galleon delivers him to, to protect and recruit the people, to resist when possible, and above all else - to stay above suspicion by cooperating with the Hexenreich. 7 June 1945, following Fortitude: Try to Remember the Kind of September… General Shepard T. Kedding is taken prisoner by the Hexenreich and finds himself locked in a Gringotts vault. Days pass, but he has a plan… 7 June 1945: Steal Away As General Shepard T. Kedding approaches Colonel Vincent Kennith Thalman, he signals to Colonel Aries Paladin to make his escape as per earlier orders. As the avenues of escape are severely limited, Paladin, a Parselmouth, bids his familiar to steal the portkey confiscated from the General, which he and his mentee, Alastriona Underwood, use to escape from the Ministry. 7 June 1945: Just Another Night on the Run Colonel Aries Paladin and Auror Alastriona Underwood discover the Merlin's Order of Defence in ruins and realize the situation is dire. The remainder of the thread chronicles their time as fugitives in the wilderness of Scotland... 10 June 1945: Breaking News A quick recap of the events on 7 June 1945, detailing the casualties in Hogwarts, Emma Birch’s untimely death, and Minister Hir’s desertion. Who can we trust? 10 June 1945: NOTICE: MOD Dissolution Merlin’s Order of Defense and its affiliates are recalled from duty. The Hexenreich don't waste any time in trying to capture the rebels and fighting breaks out in the streets. 12:01 a.m., 1 January 1946: Faux Nate Ross is on a quick break at St. Mungo's when he hears the Minister’s message. Not giving it much more thought, he gets back to work… But Petra Möller and Nikolaus Kinsinger soon arrive to take him hostage. July 1947: Jazz Funeral Panic breaks out at Tchaikovsky when Nikolaus Kinsinger murders the establishment's owner, Arden Cadwallader. A pleasant evening descends into a battle of Hexenreich against Resistance members. September 1948: The Fall of the Magical Barriers 10:35 a.m., 1 September 1948: What Is This? As families are gathering at Platform 9 ¾ to see their children off to Hogwarts a crack is heard, followed soon after by visions of shocked Muggles staring at them. 10:45 a.m., 1 September 1948: Oh, Hello! A sprawling marketplace on the edge of the city, hidden by unrealized barriers, becomes suddenly visible to Muggles all around. 10:45 a.m., 1 September 1948: Damage Control Orders are being given as fast as they can be conveyed by Martin Hawksworth within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. 11:55 a.m., 1 September 1948: Internal Affairs There’s no time to lose when it comes to organising a scarce commodity. Martin Hawksworth enlists a group of idle employees at the Ministry of Magic to help calm the chaos. The Social Reconstruction Committee 1940 - 1950: Behind the Scenes 1940: Being Human Where Francis Turin shows off for having killed his twin brother in order to steal his life. 1946: Tempus Fugit Eve Hallows snoops around asking questions about the disappearance of Francis Turin. 1946: Nothing But the WholeAfter years of fumbling in the darkness, Altair is trying to get back up on his feet and is attempting to finally cut ties between himself and his former mentor. July 1949: New Names, Old Faces Jean-Claude Ouellet (JC) visits Altair before forming the Social Reconstruction Committee (SRC), in the hopes of having him help to create it all. July 1949: Psychurgy Altair approaches Sebastian Petrocci about brewing troubles. 15 October 1949: Disclosure Remaining on the outside of the SRC, Altair is testing the waters, trying to figure out where the loyalty of Juniper Ellwood-Luxe Steele lies. 10 December 1949: Associations JC introduces Juniper Steele to C.M. Weatherbee, two people closely connected in his 'inner circle'. July 1950: Serpent and Fire JC and Altair meet again, with JC once more trying to recruit Altair to join him. September 1950: Opportunities JC attempts to recruit Leon Delaney into his group. September 1950 - June 1952: New Beginnings September 1950: Introducing the Social Reconstruction Committee! A full-page advertisement appears in The Daily Prophet. 7 September 1950: SRC Information Meeting Jean-Claude Ouellet hosts a meeting in Hogsmeade for members of the public to gather information and to ask questions about a new government project, the Social Reconstruction Committee. Also in attendance are his right-hand men and subcommittee leaders. 9 September 1950: HOP: An Open Forum For All Juniper Steele announces the opportunities that the Hogwarts Outreach Programme will offer and discusses them with students. 9 December 1950: Brainstorming Ella Galanis hosts a meeting for the Social Events & Fundraisers SRC subcommittee at Bryce & Co. Bakery. Ideas are exchanged and many cakes are eaten. 23 March 1951: Germination Margaret Harkiss and Mavis Lerner host the first SRC Garden Club meeting at The Flowering Pot. 25 August 1951: Lifelines Altair hosts a meeting in Diagon Alley's marketplace. It is open to all members of the public, and people are invited to share their thoughts on the SRC's progress so far. 12 April 1952: An Egg-citing Afternoon Ella Galanis and Marie-Anne Sharppe host an SRC-sponsored Easter Egg Hunt in Godric Park for children aged fourteen and under. Moira Duncan wins first prize. July 1952 - June 1953: Changes in Leadership 31 August 1952: Mystery At the Ministry The Daily Prophet publishes an article drawing attention to the sudden disappearances of SRC leaders, Jean-Claude Ouellet and Altair. August 1952: The Secret Visitor Pryce Hir visits Altair at St. Mungo's after JC's mysterious disappearance. 1 September 1952: Head of SRC Missing The Daily Prophet publishes an announcement by Libatius Grimsdyke, on behalf of the SRC: Jean-Claude Oullet is still missing and Altair is currently recovering from serious injury at St Mungo's. What could have happened? Nobody knows for certain. 4 December 1952: Altair Says 'No' To Leading SRC The Daily Prophet publishes an article outlining Altair's refusal to replace Jean-Claude Oullet. The SRC remains without clear leadership. 20 January 1953: SRC Searching For New Head The Daily Prophet publishes an article claiming that the SRC are searching for a new leader. The official job advertisement and its requirements are quoted for those who are interested in applying. 1 June 1953: New SRC Leadership Finally Confirmed The Daily Prophet publishes an article outlining the internal restructuring of the SRC and the committee's new leadership. 26-28 June 1953: SRC Carnival & Gala A nationwide carnival and gala is hosted to celebrate the arrival of the new SRC leadership. The event is sponsored by the Kingsley Gazette. 28 June 1953: A Night To Remember The new SRC leaders are welcomed to the stage at the gala. A brief Q&A session follows. Meanwhile... Magical Mono Strikes! 1 July 1952: Spread The Love Pax Fellwater starts up a game of Spin the Bottle at Camp Loki. Unbeknownst to him (and to everybody else), he's highly infectious with Magical Mono. Over the course of the next two months, the disease reigns over the campers. It appears to die down in late August. 8 September 1952: Easy, Breezy, Beautiful...or NOT! Newton Mariner and Jeremiah Smallweed wake up in their dormitory to faces full of colourful spots. Magical Mono has made a comeback, and it's bigger and better than ever. Introducing...MEGA MONO! 10 November 1952: Serendipity Cyrus Galanis holds a staff meeting for Spell Damage Healers to discuss potential Mega Mono cures. The rest of the thread chronicles the day-to-day activities of St Mungo's workers during the epidemic, and Mega Mono's final resolution. 28 December 1952: SRC Sponsors Research For Mega Mono Cure The Daily Prophet publishes an article noting the financial contributions that the SRC is making towards St Mungo's medical research into Mega Mono. 22 June 1953: Mega Mono Cure Found The Daily Prophet publishes an article detailing the cure for Mega Mono, found and developed by a group of St. Mungo’s Healers. July 1953 - October 1957: An Ending of Sorts July 1953: Future of the SRC Minister Pryce Hir meets with the SRC Directors to discuss the committee’s aims and goals moving forward. 10 October 1957: The End Minister Pryce Hir calls Ella Galanis to the Ministry of Magic to finally dissolve the once-great SRC. The Hogwarts Rebellion April 1956: The Wolf early evening, 25 April 1956: Respite Brooklyn Jones has been attempting to create a cure for her lycanthropy all year. Tonight, she believes she has been successful. She hasn't. just before the full moon rises, 25 April 1956: She's Not a Kid Anymore Jeremiah Smallweed, who has come to keep Brooklyn Jones company on the full moon, realises that she is not inside the Shrieking Shack. He runs back to the castle to report her absence to Ella Galanis, who goes to the Shrieking Shack to see for herself. Brooklyn is not in the Shrieking Shack. She turns back towards the castle to find that Anneka Ivanova's patronus has a message for her... full moon, 25 April 1956: Blood Moon Merryl Midthunder and Felicia Navarro are out on patrol when the werewolf appears. Aiden Duncan and Lysander Stone are caught up in the chaos. Merryl sends her Patronus to warn Anneka Ivanova, who in turn sends her own Patronus to warn the rest of the staff. The werewolf manages to slip past Merryl and Felicia into the castle. full moon, 25 April 1956: 999, What's Your Emergency? Clinton Litchfield has a prophetic dream about the werewolf attack. Anneka Ivanova's patronus appears at the end of the bed as he wakes up. He goes to wake one of his Hufflepuff Prefects, Marilyn-Rose Wilson. full moon, 25 April 1956: Lions on Lockdown Lecia Dorset and Calvin Sharppe, the Gryffindor Prefects, secure the Gryffindor common room as instructed by Anneka Ivanova's patronus. Some Gryffindor students join them. full moon, 25 April 1956: There's a She Wolf in the Castle Clinton Litchfield enlists the help of Hufflepuff Prefects, Rebecca Silvers and Marilyn-Rose Wilson to build a barricade in the Hufflepuff common room. Hufflepuff students, woken by the chaos, join them. full moon, 25 April 1956: Threatened Camilla Carstairs and Adam Hoying, the Ravenclaw Prefects, secure the Ravenclaw common room as instructed by Ella Galanis's patronus. full moon, 25 April 1956: Girl in Wolf's Clothing Jeremiah Smallweed is already waiting in the Slytherin common room when David Leighton enters to come and find him. Together, they secure the common room. They are joined by several Slytherin students, including Lillian St. Clair, who has had a rather strange dream... full moon, 25 April 1956: Cry, Wolf, Cry A group of staff and students find themselves face-to-face with the werewolf. Whilst some of the staff try to protect the students, others attempt to subdue the wolf. Several people are injured, but eventually, Anneka Ivanova and Ella Galanis bring the wolf down. They take the creature away from the castle. Arlo Mason directs the rest of those involved to St. Mungo's. 25 April 1956, following Cry, Wolf, Cry: Waking Nightmare Anneka Ivanova and Ella Galanis take Brooklyn Jones back to the Shrieking Shack. They discuss what will happen to her in the morning. 25 April 1956, following Cry, Wolf, Cry: Moonlight Madness Chaos ensues at St. Mungo's as the werewolf's victims are brought in for emergency treatment. September 1957 - May 1958: The Poisoner Tags: Castle 13 September 1957: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter One The Hogwarts Poisoner leaves a sleeping draught in a goblet in the Great Hall, causing Thomas Kolmer to fall asleep at the breakfast table. 7 October 1957: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter Two The Hogwarts Poisoner poisons cupcakes in the library, causing Gianna DeAngelis to start vomiting. 7 November 1957: We're Not Gonna Take It The remaining survivors of the 1956 werewolf attack stage a protest in the Great Hall. But things are cut short when everyone faints due to the fake blood they wore being poisoned. 12 November 1957: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter Three The Hogwarts Poisoner targets the staff room, but there are no victims. 1 December 1957: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter Four The Hogwarts Poisoner gives Marilyn-Rose Wilson a nosebleed in the middle of the games room. 3 February 1958: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter Five The Hogwarts Poisoner leaves a vaporous poison in the corridor, causing Lawrence Cole to develop flu-like symptoms. 14 March 1958: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter Six The Hogwarts Poisoner replaces a Pepper-Up potion in the Hospital Wing, causing Jane Belrose to develop hallucinations. 2 April 1958: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter Seven The Hogwarts Poisoner targets the Great Hall again, leaving Francis Beauchene laughing uncontrollably. 2 May 1958: The Poison Wind Blows: Chapter Eight The Hogwarts Poisoner strikes a final time, with multiple victims falling due to the Draught of Living Death. 5 May 1958: The Poison Wind Blows: Revelations The Hogwarts Poisoner is revealed to be Lia Ayres. 5 Mary 1958: The Poison Wind Blows: The Announcement Clara Darcy reveals to the school who the Hogwarts Poisoner was. 6 May 1958: The Poison Wind Blows: Epilogue Lia Ayres is expelled from Hogwarts as a result of her actions. October 1958 - July 1959: The Monster 31 October 1958: One: Risen Outside of the Great Hall: After the Opening Feast, numerous pets are discovered outside the Great Hall, petrified. There is a goblet of antidote set beside them, as well as a note of warning about 'The Monster'... 26 November 1958: Two: Hunt Christoph Grey is found petrified in a puddle of water along the corridor outside the Conjuring & Summoning classroom. A note has been left with him. Once restored to consciousness, he doesn't remember seeing anything. 24 January 1959: Three: Sleuth Eugenia Lowsley is found petrified outside the hospital wing. Another note is found with her. Once restored to consciousness, she remembers running after hearing something large coming towards her, but has no memory of seeing anything. 23 February 1959: Four: Revolt Kyra Tellavin is discovered petrified outside the Divination classroom, along with another riddle. Once restored to consciousness, she remembers hearing something approach and seeing the reflection of two glowing eyes in a suit of armour. 24 March 1959: Five: Scream A scream is heard in the West Bailey near the staff's living quarters. When people arrive on the scene, they discover Esther Harlow lying petrified on the floor. Another note is pinned to the wall. Once restored to consciousness, she remembers something large hitting them and throwing them against the wall, as well as a reflection of the same glowing eyes that Kyra saw. 25 March 1959: Don't Feel Right Bracken Thomas comes to Ella Galanis with the note found at the scene of Esther Harlow's attack.
