Biography:

Henri grew up alone. Well...not technically alone alone, he had a mum and dad after all. Not to forget their golden retriever, Nessie or his mother's large black and white cow; Betty.

But he still grew up as an only child, within his family and within his neighborhood. The Scotts had decided to live in a town of mainly elderly folk, and those who had older children.

So as a loud, beaming ball of sunshine that little Henri was, there wasn't a moment he didn't spend his days outside. Whether on a broom his dad bought him, flying in the air and practicing his beater technique, or coming up with projects to work on by himself to keep his mind entertained.

Henri Scott was an outdoor kid through and through but yet that still didn't help his lack of other boy entertainment.

Most of the older boys preferred to smoke or talk about who they snogged, which Henri was exposed to early on until his mother caught wind and dragged him by the ear all the way back to their highland home. Then there had been the really young boys, but they only cared about making mud pies or having their mum's change their diapers. None of the groups really fit with what Henri was yearning for, that friendship he daydreamed about.

The same daydream of him and his best mates running around, getting into mischief and laughing til their stomachs hurt. Getting all scratched and bruised from roughhousing or having that close connection to share what was on your mind at any time.

It wasn't until his parents explained that once he got close in age, he'd be attending a school in which plenty kids his age would be roaming around! That would mean new possible friends, girls to flirt with and adventures to go explore!

House Request: Gryffindor!!!!

Personality:
If a golden retriever was molded into a human boy, the mixture of perfect aloofness, friendly welcoming smiles and energetic ball of energy, that boy would be called Henri. Henri was always the first to introduce himself to anyone new, maybe in hopes to actually maintain a decent friend without freaking them away in a sense of coming off too strong. Most ideas had an honest and heartfelt meaning behind them but as mentioned before, many of them tend to fall through do the lack of remembrance or paying enough attention.

Appearance:
Henri Scott was an irish image through and through. With light auburn hair, to the point it almost came off caramel, and bright greenish blue eyes, he was a unique appearance to begin with. He gained his mother's abundance of freckles along with a dimple or two on his cheeks when he really got that large grin going.

He was taller than most boys his age, always being a bit lankier in build and long in stature. His father claims he could almost beat out a baby giraffe at the rate he was growing, his mother claiming it was her cooking not sitting in his stomach for too long.

If there was anything to take away when looking at Henri, it would be the big goofy smile of his and the fact his hair probably attracts more heat from the sun than anything.

Option 2:

That rat of his was in for it now.

The gray little rascal had disappeared from his clutches at breakfast. Again.

Before Hugh even knew what was happening, Merlin had shot across the floor, somehow managing to avoid all the feet walking across the hall and had escaped through the open doors.

Which meant that Hugh was now stomping through rows of flowers and other various flora, searching for the small creature. It was like the rat knew Hugh was allergic to most flowers. Merlin always chose to run to the gardens whenever he got away from Hugh. It was as if the rat did not want to have him for an owner.

Hugh had named his pet Merlin because he had hoped the powerful name would give the rat more incentive to be more than a rat. Not that he expected Merlin to change into a wizard or anything, but rats were just so...useless, for the most part. With a name like Merlin, Hugh thought it might give the rat purpose.

The only purpose Merlin seemed to have was getting away from Hugh as often as possible.

As the fifth year trudged into the second row of flowers, not taking much care to avoid trampling the first row, he felt the first sneeze building up pressure in his nose and behind his eyes.

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

He pulled apart a section of bright red flowers; he didn't know what they were called because he despised flowers, and ducked his head low to peer into the depths of the flowerbed. It was moving closer in proximity to the flowers that finally did it. Hugh took in three great breaths and then let out an almighty sneeze. It was strong enough to disturb some of the dirt on the ground before him.

Groaning, he stood up again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. It was as he was turning his head, his nose running up and down his arm, that movement in his peripheral vision caught his attention. Normally one who preferred to put his best face forward, Hugh was a bit embarrassed to be caught wiping his runny nose on his robes.

Nevertheless, Hugh put on his best haughty voice. albeit a bit thickly with his plugged nose and said, "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

Roleplay Response:

The greenhouse didn't have what he wanted.

What he wanted was maybe a snapdragon. The professors were always blabbing on and on about how they had to urgently alert them if bitten but Henri would have thought them to be cool pets! Maybe students had animals that walked around, but what about a plant?

Isn't a snapdragon technically a dragon? In an herbal form?

With his cut and smudged fingers digging inside the fabric of his pockets, Henri trudged his way along outdoors and along the path back towards Hogwarts. The tip of his sneaker connected with tiny pebbles and watched quietly as the small stones rolled down in a steady motion.

Even being an unsuccessful mission, perhaps he could wander down to the quidditch pitch to keep practicing his keeper skills-

"You blasted rat! Where are you?" The sound of dirt instantly halted under his weight.

A swift turn of a freckled neck and blue eyes latching onto the weirdly crouched boy, Henri watched silently. It was a unique place to look for something, under the rows and rows of flowers. Snot almost was dripping out of his nose and he kept hissing and huffing much like Elliot did when something irritated him.

Or usually when Henri never stopped talking.

The boy peered once more.

Maybe he had dropped something?

All too soon the other boy scuffled to his feet and stared soon back, too quick for Henri to duck his head and stroll off whistling as if he wasn't aware of another presence. But alas, it was too late and soon the sniffling, snotty boy questioned his motives.

"I ain't staring." A grin beat itself onto his features naturally, nothing but boyish as he took a step forward.

"Did ya drop something? Or lose anything? I could help you if you wanted!"
