Biography:
His parents had not been properly married when he had been conceived. Nothing wrong with that of course (at least to him), because in the end they loved each other and they were his mother and father. Supposedly there was more to the story as to why they had not been married. His father said it was because it took his mother a bit of convincing that he loved her. His mother says it was because she thought his father was an idiot, and still was. He does not understand them sometimes.

They still got together in the end, getting married and making him a little brother. His little brother, Devon, does not seem to do much though. Being only one year old, he does not play with Adam which can get sort of boring, and he cries a lot which can be confusing, but he does know he needs to protect his baby brother.

Protect him from what?

Adam is not sure of the exact answer, but he will do it without question, because that is what older brothers are supposed to do. That is what family is supposed to do.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trudged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
He had been told to stay close, and Adam had done exactly that, until he had gotten bored and found himself interested in a butterfly that was flying past. This had not been a bother until he realized that he was not where his father was. Light brown eyes turned to look at his surroundings. Wondering just for a moment how he had gotten to the park, when he had been in the market only moments before. His mother was going to get angry with him because he would worry his father.

It was not like Adam tried to disobey orders, it was just sometimes he forgot about them. Especially when he was bored, or tired, or he had not really understood the directions given. His father always found him though, so he was never really worried about getting lost. He just had to stay where he was until he was found.

A determined nod, the butterfly was forgotten for a moment. Sitting down in the grass of the park, as he was determined to now stay where he was until he was found. No distractions. His gave a nod as if to reinforce this into his mind. It probably would work as long as nothing actively tried to distract him.

”You!”

He gave a sudden start at the yell. Head looking up from the grass blinking at the girl for a moment before tilting his head and studying the girl for a moment. He did not know her, but it seemed like she had called out to him. “Yes?”

"...Do you want to play?"

The idea of not being distracted seemed to have fluttered out his head at those words. A broad smile on his face as he jumped up and ran up to her, stopping just before standing in front of her. Standing up straight and bouncing slightly on his heels he gave his enthusiastic response, “Yes!”
