Biography: Despite the month being spring, a cold night sprung upon the area. Elise, the McHoughton family's first child, was born. Only when she was four, she was forced to move from her family to London, where it was better, according to her pureblood parents, for wizards. Unbeknownst to Elise, it was also closer to Hogwarts, where her magical future would someday begin. After the war started, a terrible bombing happened near the house in which she lived in. She was shoved into the bomb shelter by her mother, thee doors slammed closed before her parents had the chance to save themselves. With a loud bang and repeated shudders, Elise McHoughton's past was gone.
After the tragic death of her parents, Elise was sought out by a wizard and taken to an all-wizard orphanage. She lived there for the next few years of her life, pushing away her tragedy and bringing cheer, happiness, and hope to all the children there. When she finally received a letter from Hogwarts saying she had been accepted, Elise also discovered her inheritance to her parents rather large wizarding world fortune. The first thing Elise had done was got her very own faithful owl, which she had named Luna after her mother. Then, she eagerly waited for the start of the term.

Personality:Elise is, and has always been, cheerful, brave, and loyal. For example, if anyone was ever to feel down, it would always be only a moment before Elise cheered them up. Because of her endless compassion, she has never had any or many enemies, but the kindness also takes away her since of assertion, which means she is quite easy to be picked on. Though if you get her too mad, you will immediately regret it. Elise is also considered athletic, but mostly puts her time into studying.
Appearance:Elise has fair skin, and long brown hair, which she mostly wears in a ponytail or a bun, but on special occasions, she will wear it down or in a braid. Her face is dotted with many freckles, which gives her the appearance of a young child. She is considered tall for her age, and her shoulders can be considered broad. She has blue eyes, and her two front teeth have a rather childish gap in between. She also has dimples, and more than not, a smile is on her face.
→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.Elise was humming softly as she skipped through the schools boundaries, smiling as usual, a school book cradled in her arms. She finally found her quiet little meadow in which she studied, and she lay down on her stomach, feet kicking slightly in the air as she flipped through the pages of her book, still humming merrily. Once she had gotten bored of reading, she rolled onto her back, and stared at the sky, watching the clouds, using her imagination to decipher the shapes hidden in them. She was switched back into reality as a butterfly landed on top her nose.
Elise gave a small sneeze, and the creature immediately took flight again. It was so peacful outside, Elise felt herself drifting off to sleep.
The sound of sirens filled her ears. She heard yelling in the background, and was roused from her bed in quite a rough manor. Her eyes rested on the frantic face of her mother as she was pushed out the door, and she asked, a note of fear in her voice, "What's happening?" Tears came into her mothers eyes, and she took off her locket, giving it to Elise. Her mother whispered something about goodbye, and how she had always knew Elise was special. "But Mom," Elise said, "Im not going anywhere!" Before her mother could respond, Elise was shoved into the bomb shelter, the doors closed, and a loud bang following.Elise woke up, taking in deep breaths. She sighed, realizing it was all a dream. She got up, grabbed her book, and ran back to the safety of the school.
