CHARACTER INFORMATION

Character Name: Lysandra "Lylee" Carpeggo ("Lie-san-drah")

Gender: Female

Age: 10

Bloodline:
Pureblood

Parents/Guardians (Are they currently played characters?):
Lysandra had a good bond with her mother, but she's never met her father. Her mother, Laurelai died when Lysandra was nine, but she was a small house witch, using her magic mostly for cooking and household chores. Her father however, was apparently a very powerful wizard and healer who had a strong connection to animals of all kinds. Though she never met him, Lylee's entire childhood was filled with tales of her gallant father and his gallant steed of a horse (who in reality was little more than a crochety old mare who never really favored anyone but her dad)

Residence:
Lysandra currently hops from place to place, living on the streets and in any old hovel or friendly home willing to open its door to a mangy street rat like herself. Her typical center of operation tends to be a nice spot under a city bridge road that she holed out for herself. It's surprisingly cozy with a nice mat and moth-eaten pillow.

Do you plan to have a connection to a particular existing place (for example: the daycare)?
None at the moment, she's happy enough running about from place to place, even if she does miss her parents.

Do you wish to be approved as a group with any other characters? If so who and for what IC reason?
None yet. But hopefully she'll find herself a pack of kids rather than animals to hang out with.

Please list any other characters you already have at the site:
None

Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Lysandra, though ten, likes to think that she has wisdom beyond her years. With curly, ratty brown hair and a thin, hunger-pang frame she looks no older than eight. With big grey eyes and a heart-shaped face dusted heavily with freckles and a big smug grin on her face, she bears the remarkable resemblance to some fox-ish creature, lurking around the cityscape. Lylee takes after her father (she thinks) both physically and talent-wise. Animals of all sorts trail after her in hoards, from dogs to cats to horses and birds, Lylee seems to hold a special bond with all animals. She's even been known to hold entire conversations with creatures of all sorts. Though her scrappy and tough attitude may put off some, deep down she's gentle and caring for humans and animals (but it make take some convincing and a lot of scraps of food)

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:

"...Do you want to play?"

Lysandra jumped about a foot in the air, scattering birdseed and peanuts onto the ground in her shock; around her squirrels and birds leaped away, surprised. Lylee looked around at the girl. She was young, probably younger than Ly, but the stray orphan was still a few inches smaller, and many pounds lighter.

"You talking to me?" Ly said, pointing to her chest with a thin finger and approached the other girl, a toothy, shy grin. She held out one dirty hand, covered with thick callouses and scrapes.

"My name's Lysandra, but you can call me Lylee" she said, shoving her other hand into her oversized jacket pocket.
