Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Theodore Casey Hale was born in the beginning of 1948, one of the best ways to start year, or so his parents claimed.

The brown eyed boy was the third of twelve children, and only the eighth to have been born with magical abilities. Seven boys and five girls run through the farmhouse on the outskirts of a poor town. Mia Rossi-Hale and her husband James were muggles trying to find their way in the world, and repopulating Italy was certainly one way to do it. They owned their farm, trading cattle and crops to make ends meet for their family. There wasn't a year that went by that the matriarch wasn't carrying a sibling, at least not in Theo's eyes. He remembered there was a time where he wasn't sure if mum could be without something growing in her belly.

His childhood was typical of most other kids, Theo assumed. Chores, helping around the farm and the house, learning manners and respect. Because their father was born in England, the family tried to travel back as often as possible. It seemed to be an occurrence every two to three years, despite the constant adding to their numbers. It was expected to help others and show kindness whenever possible. His parents would truly give the shirt off their backs if it would help someone else, and Theo was the same in that aspect. But he had dreams of leaving Italy to travel the world, but it would have to wait until after graduation.

Life at school was fairly uneventful for the boy. Average grades carried him through until the end. He played quidditch for a few terms before quitting and moving onto a new passion - photography. He dove headfirst into the school's newspaper and found more enjoyment in that than playing on the pitch. Later on, it worked out quite well when one of his older siblings, Grace had begun playing quidditch professionally.

After graduation, he moved to Hogsmeade into a small flat and began to work at Honeydukes while he built his portfolio.

Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
Another long day in exchange for mediocre pay. It was truly a rip off to be a full fledged living, breathing, bills paying adult. Honestly, it was a scam to be pushed out into the real world after graduation. If anyone was around to hear the too blunt thoughts of one Theodore Hale, they would be shocked that the young man felt so strongly about being out on his own.

Finally finishing the afternoon shift at the sweets shop meant freedom. Freedom to dress and act the way he wanted, and to apparate to wizarding London. Gone was the apron of uniform and instead a plain white tshirt donned broad shoulders. A cigarette hung between two lips as he strolled down the familiar cobblestone.

Tranquil thoughts were interrupted when a woman’s plea cut through the crowds. He cut off a group of younger students to her aid. “What’s broken?” he called out towards her as he continued through the crowd.

Do you intend for the Italian Wizarding School to be a very small local school that isn't an official part of our site canon, or are you intending for it to be a larger, established magical school that would likely be known to others and should be part of our site canon? If it's a small local school, it's fine to leave your application as is. However, if you intend for the school to be larger and more widely-known, then you'll need to submit a special request, so that we can add this to our magical schools list and establish it in our canon.
