SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS: Middle-high class.
HISTORY OVERVIEW: Landon had spent several years under the restraint of his parents, his brother and Hogwarts school. He had lived through constant pressure of becoming the best that he could be. However, because of all of this constant pressure, Landon chose to ignore what his parents told him let alone what the school thought he was capable of. However, he had never been like this. When he first started Hogwarts, he was as innocent as an eleven year old could be. He had never kissed a girl and never got into any fights but this innocent soon disappeared when he reached his fifth year at school. So much drama had been occurring in his life that it seemed like he was crumbling down. His mum grew ill, his older brother and him would constantly fight and his father was never home. This wasn’t the ideal life that a fifteen year old boy should’ve dealt with but this is what made him a stronger person and allowed him to appreciate life and take grasp of every single opportunity that presented itself to him.

He went through Hogwarts enjoying it to the fullest. He adored the friends that he made and the girlfriends which he had. In all honesty he never wanted to leave the school but when he did, he regretted never working as hard as he did. This is because as soon as he left, he had all Exceeds Expectations in all of his subjects expect for an Owl in Transfiguration. He had to admit that he didn’t work as hard as he should’ve and because of that he had to pay with a terrible job at the Ministry. Landon originally wanted to follow into his father’s footsteps but instead he was left with a bottom pit job in the Muggle Artifacts department. This wasn’t exactly what you’d call a dream job… but it was a job nonetheless.

ROLEPLAY
Reply as your character to the following:

It was impossible for Dianne to stay out of trouble. It wasn't that she was looking for trouble, it's just that trouble always managed to find her. Today she wished she could find something equally familiar but more comforting.

The five-year old girl hugged her puffskein closer to her and brushed her face in its soft fur for comfort. She had named him herself and he was always her special pet. No she was certain she had never gone down this side street before. Her anxiety increased every second as darkness fell as she walked down the road. A loud noise came to her left and she buried her face in her pet's fur completely. The scared girl bolted the opposite way slamming the both of them into the wall of the nearest building. Tottering back a few steps she found a door a few feet to her right and ran to open it. What light there was inside spilled out into the darkness and she spilled into the room.

Once in, she was caught between the impulse to curl her cloak up more tightly around her and loosen her grip on it. She wasn't alone anymore but she was now among strangers instead, which was nearly as terrifying. Her puffskein had recovered from the shock of the wall and now was purring contentedly as the girl hugged it, causing a mildly calming effect on the girl. Gathering her courage, she marched up to the nearest person, pulled on the nearest clothing hem and blurted out in a loud voice:

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

She paused to draw a breath in her nearly never-ending sentence, "He misses my and his mommy."

To explain the scared girl held up the custard-colored puffskein. Sambundeakin the puffskein, however simply purred as if nothing on earth was wrong in the world.

Roleplay Response:
Ever since Landon had left the strict school of Hogwarts, he had never felt so free. He was able to drink as much as he wanted and if anything do whatever he wanted. He had to admit being free from his mum’s grip also made him smile greatly. He couldn’t believe that even now that he was long gone from school, he’d constantly run into familiar faces. Perhaps it was because he only just got accepted into the Ministry of Magic. He didn’t mind at all that it had been a dead end job because he knew all great wizards started off that way but because he was able to do something that he knew all too well about made him happy. A sigh passed Landon’s lips as he strolled down the streets of Hogsmeade. It had been snowing so he wore his old Gryffindor scarf proudly around his neck along with his black coat, black trousers and an expensive pair of shoes. His blonde hair had been elegantly gelled back because he’d only just finished work in the Ministry. A day out in London always stressed Landon out since he had never been much of the city type.

He would wave occasionally to some passerbyers that he knew because of his frequent trips here. A big smile was placed on his face as he entered the Hog’s Head. He removed his coat and scarf and tossed it by the nearest table. The place hadn’t been as packed as Landon would’ve wanted it to be but it had been the middle of the week so it was expected that several witches and wizards would be off working or taking care of their families. Landon was never the kind of guy to crave attention but tonight he wanted to speak with someone of his age if not of his intelligence. After all, since he began work in the Ministry, there hadn’t been many friends he could make since all of them had at least been half their age and with grandchildren. Landon wasn’t fond of that and most of the time he was worried that he may not even be able to make friends within the Ministry. A sigh passed Landon’s lips as he took a seat at his table and lifted his arm up to the woman at the bar. She frowned at him and gave him a quick, cold shouldered nod. It seemed like she had been working here all day and wasn’t in the best of moods but Landon didn’t let that get to him. However, he didn’t see WHY she had been so moody since there hadn’t been as many people as there usually were.

A few minutes had passed and the woman was yet to arrive at Landon’s table. A frown was placed upon his face as he folded his arms across his chest. He was growing impatient… after all, he came here to have a firewhiskey and read the Daily Prophet in peace but none of these remedial tasks were being accomplished without having one of the essential ingredients to his daily routine. Just as he was about to stand up to have a go at the woman, he felt a small tug at the end of his black suit jacket. At first, he turned around completely confused by who had done that. After all, at eye level he couldn’t see anyone but when he felt the tug happen once more, he looked down. His confused expression changed immediately to one of complete welcome and delight. It had been a little girl with a puffskein. A big smile came across Landon’s face as he placed one hand on the girl’s head. “Aren’t you adorable?” Landon said cheerfully while rubbing her head, deliberately messing it up. It didn’t take long for Landon to realize that the girl was clearly upset about something so he allowed the little girl to tell him her story before adding any more stupid remarks.

“May I ask what your mummy’s name is?” Landon asked while taking a seat once more in his chair. He shifted his body towards the girl, spreading both of his legs apart and placing his arms on both of his knees, cupping his hands together and looking at the girl with deep concern. Landon wasn’t particularly sure how this girl got here but he wanted her to be back with her mum as soon as possible. However, Landon couldn’t help this feeling of frustration he had towards the mother since she’d been careless enough in the first place to let her daughter wander around alone in Hogsmeade.
