Biography: (100 words minimum.)

Tristan Mars was born to the famous American film stars Gregory and Violet mars in the tale end of nineteen forty six. He and his sister Tessa were twins and as such very close when they were younger and remained so until they went off to Ilvermoony. However with seemingly no notice Trey was pulled from the American magical school and told he'd be transferring to Hogwarts the following year. The reason for this is unknown to anyone but Trey himself and the Mars parents but it left Tessa devastated as she was informed her brother was moving on without her.

The move itself wasn't too difficult as the Mars family had always had dual citizenship in America and Britain, after all Gregory was born in London and went to Hogwarts himself. They set Tristan up in the Mars summer home in London and though they travel a lot for business, they check in on him as much as they can and trust he's being cared for by the home's staff when they are absent. Tessa however was left in the care of her American grandparents between school terms.

Tristan is left feeling uprooted and anxious. A new school when he's about to start his fifth year isn't his idea of fun. But he's a Mars..and their family endures..no matter what.

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:

Tristan Mars had been enjoying the fresh air. Something that back in the states he hadn't been able to get much of. Between his schooling and then all the extra things that his parents forced him through in the summers before he moved? Fun wasn't something he was meant to indulge in. At least not with his parents around that is. It didn't stop the Mars boy from doing whatever he saw fit when he was left alone the rest of the time. Here however it was different, he wasn't kept under the thumb of his parents as much, probably due to the circumstances of his departure. They tended to avoid him these days when possible. Only seeing him when it was necessary to portray the perfect parents and family to avoid outside suspicion.

The truth was he'd barely seen them since he moved at the end of his fourth year at Ilvermoony. They were in the house of course unless traveling for work..but they didn't even speak to him unless necessary. He'd known that it would happen obviously, but it still irritated him and made him feel alone all the same. Currently stationed in Godric Park he was busy pondering all the changes of the past year alone on a bench. His eyes closed as he soaked up a little sun and reflected. Maybe Hogwarts would be good for him? Maybe he'd finally make more than fake friends only interested in his name or what he could or would do for them? Was this his chance to change from being some rich party brat and to become someone new?

He didn't know. Not really. All he knew was that a new school meant new people to try and leech off of him if they could. He could ignore that though. What he couldn't ignore any longer however? The loud noise going on not too far away from him which caused his expression to crease with irritation as his eyes opened.

"John, I said wait up!"

Great. More stuff he didn't have the time or bandwidth to even entertain let alone deal with. He eyed the smaller and younger people critically and frowned heavily. The girl seemed to be being left out of something..and from the looks of it not for the first time. It was something that made him think of his twin and feel bad for the girl..until she opened her mouth.

"You!"

She'd seen him and practically barked at him. What a brat. Perhaps this was why she was isolated away from the other children? It wasn't his business.

"...Do you want to play?"

He wasn't one to typically be rude. Something that had been practically smushed out of him by his parents. But they weren't here now were they?

"I don't think so. I don't spend my time playing with entitled brats. Is that how you always try to get someone's attention? Perhaps that's why they don't want you to join them?" He pointed out as he looked at her blankly.
