Hello Eliana and welcome to HSNet! We are so happy to have you! Your application looks great so far, but there are a couple of things that need to be addressed.

First, please specify a second choice for Hogwarts year. We do this just in case the first choice is unbalanced!

Second, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that Eliana will be sorted into Ravenclaw. We do try to take first choice into account, but it's safest to not say in the biography which house your character got just in case you don't get it.  Sometimes there can be disappointment with the discrepancy between biography house and actual sort, so wanted to give you the option to update it.

In your role-play response, I wanted to bring a specific thing to your attention: "but the professor's tendency to treat-" could be revised to something like "she thought the professor had a tendency to treat their students as-" with the advisement that our castle staff are played characters that you might find truly don't treat students that way.

Also in your role-play response this bit is considered power play: "The two of them stared at each other for quite some time, unsure of the situation." Only Hugh's writer knows what he's thinking and feeling.

The application can be a lot! If you could, please add back in this bottom part from the template. It just helps us track traffic to our site and appreciate the many ways our members get here.

Second, in regards to this bit:

From a young age, Theo displayed an innate talent for Charms, a natural affinity that delighted his father and earned admiration from the villagers. He would often be found practicing minor spells around the village square, filling the air with colorful sparks and creating smiles on the faces of the residents. However, the art of Divination proved to be a bit more elusive to Theo, as the mystical nature of predicting the future eluded his grasp.

Children can only practice magic (unless it is purely accidental) when they have their wands. They get their letters to Hogwarts (and therefore their supply lists) in July, and the way this reads sounds like he was adept at Charms before receiving his owl. This wouldn't be possible.

Once these two issues are corrected, please repost the entire application in a reply and we will happily take another look!
