Serena McCormick is dead and in her wake she tries to make terms with becoming Serena Rose once more. After 16 years of marriage, Serena has discovered that her husband has been having a lengthy affair. They've split, leaving Serena to care for 8 children mostly on her own. She is broken hearted and trying to regroup. Because she has too many kids that need her to be strong and brave.

She doesnt have a lot of time for friends and has absolutly zero time for bullshit. However she's trying to rediscover who she is, all on her own, detached from the man that she thought would always be there for her. It's hard. He controlled so much of her life for so long and she's unsure of who she even is anymore. But she's learning.

In search of old friends to reconnect with, new friends to discover, shoulders to lean on while she builds herself back up.
