My Dearest MJ,
I hope this letter finds you amidst the sparkle and shine of Broadway—though I’m sure you've stolen the spotlight with your dazzling voice and that infectious smile of yours. How is the journey going, my little songbird? Have you brought the house down yet with a showstopping number? If anyone can follow in the legendary footsteps of Barbra Streisand, it's you. Just don't let the fame make you forget about us mere mortals back here in London! Things at Jasper's Jollies have been a whirlwind of chaotic brilliance—much like my shop itself! Remember when I told you about my dream of creating a space where magic and laughter collide? Well, it's happening! The shop opened a week ago, and business has been... explosive. Quite literally, actually. We had a minor incident with the "Whizzing Whoopee Cushions" on opening day. Turns out they're a bit too enthusiastic, and let's just say we're still scrubbing soot off the ceiling. The locals seem to love it, though. Witches, wizards, and even a few daring Muggles have been flocking in to see what all the fuss is about. My enchanted gargoyles (yes, I finally got them charmed!) are a massive hit. They sit outside cracking dreadful jokes to lure people in—you’d love them, MJ, their humor is about as refined as mine. Yesterday, one of them said, "Why did the wand refuse to perform spells? It had a bad incantation!" Terrible, isn’t it? But it makes people laugh, and that's the whole point. Inside, it's an absolute madhouse. Shelves are brimming with new inventions like "Bellowing Bubbles," which roar like dragons when popped, and "Chameleon Chalk," perfect for hiding embarrassing notes in plain sight. I've also introduced a special line of edible pranks: "Puff Pastries" that turn your hair into a fluffy cloud for an hour are flying off the shelves (pun intended). We've even got a little corner called the Prank Parlor where customers can try out some of my creations. It's been an experience. (The week before a new term at Hogwarts)
The grand opening of Jasper’s Jollies in Diagon Alley was to be nothing short of a magical spectacle, drawing wizards, witches, and magical creatures of all kinds from across the wizarding world. Jasper had planned an event so outrageous and entertaining that it was destined to be the talk of Diagon Alley for years to come. He just hoped it went as planned.
The Exterior Transformation
On the morning of the event, the storefront of Jasper’s Jollies was an explosion of color and sound. The shop's facade shimmered with alternating patterns of neon polka dots and stripes, and an enormous jack-in-the-box sat above the door. Every few minutes, the box would spring open, revealing a giant, grinning face of Jasper himself, which would cheerfully bellow, “Come one, come all, to Jasper’s Jollies! The most riotous shop in the wizarding world!”Multicolored smoke billowed from enchanted chimneys, forming whimsical shapes like laughing faces, flying broomsticks, and fireworks. Witches and wizards of all ages flocked to the event, many dressed in vibrant robes or prank-inspired outfits. Jasper’s Jollies isn’t just a shop; it’s a sanctuary for laughter, chaos, and a touch of harmless mayhem!”Instead of a traditional ribbon-cutting, Jasper unveiled a massive, enchanted balloon shaped like a cackling pixie. With a wave of his wand, the balloon popped, releasing hundreds of tiny, harmless Pixie Poppers—miniature firecrackers that giggled as they exploded into colorful bursts of light.

The interior of Jasper’s Jollies was a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds, and surprises. Shelves were lined with prank products like Sneezing Snaps, Small, brightly colored firecracker-like sticks that emit a puff of glittery smoke when triggered, and the wildly popular Bouncing Broomstick Bands, which made a wizard’s broomstick animate to perform playful dances. Interactive displays let guests test out products, like the Bellowing Bubbles, which when blown formed harmless bubbles that release a deafening roar that mimics the sound of a lion, dragon, or thunderclap as they popped, or the Chameleon Chalk, A smooth, cylindrical piece of chalk that camouflages any object or surface it marks, blending it seamlessly into its surroundings for up to 3 hours. Jasper himself darted around the shop, demonstrating products with an infectious enthusiasm, causing peals of laughter to erupt at every corner.
Surprises and Spectacles
Throughout the day, Jasper had planned a series of surprise performances: - A Magical Mime that acted out customers’ most embarrassing magical mishaps.
- A group of enchanted, dancing cauldrons that performed a synchronized routine.
- An enormous, enchanted Piñata Phoenix, which burst into harmless flames and scattered prizes for everyone when struck.
The highlight of the event was the Grand Prank-Off, a competition where customers used Jasper’s products to devise the funniest magical pranks. The winner, would receive a 1,000 galeon shopping spree of Jasper’s wares.

Jasper’s Jollies had hopefully made its mark as the most delightful and chaotic corner of Diagon Alley.
