Background
Born to a wealthy, hardworking Southern family, Ginger had grown up in the lap of luxury. She was her father's "little princess". Unfortunately, she took the nickname rather literally and now her one dream in life is to marry a noble and become an aristocrat. Ginger enjoys being waited on and pampered and hates the thought of giving that life up to go to work every day at her father's company.
Her father, realizing how horribly spoiled she had become, sent her off to Hogwarts to finally sink or swim on her own. Ginger is very aware that her father will be cutting her off when she turns 17, just as her older siblings were, and is worried that she will be forced to join her siblings in the real world. Due to her desperation to live the life of a princess, Ginger's singular goal at Hogwarts has been to find, at the very least, a man with money.
Personality and look
With her sights set on nobles and princes, Ginger makes it a point to be the epitome of perfection and grace anywhere she goes. She spends almost two hours every morning to ensure her long, golden blonde hair flows behind her almost unnaturally. She owns almost exclusively pink clothing and is fond of wearing evening gowns and petticoats with white gloves, even when utterly impractical. She never goes anywhere without her trusty, pink parasol. She refuses to be caught dead in what she calls "commoner clothing".
Despite all this, Ginger is very well-mannered, well-spoken and charming, and has been brought up to be a perfect Southern belle. She rarely, if ever, raises her voice and prefers to be poised and elegant rather than aggressive. She does, however, have a nasty, bratty side when things don't go her way or if someone insults her beauty.
