Adrian Alric is a former Ravenclaw Prefect and Quidditch captain, Gringott's translator, and current instructor at the magical finishing school, L'école Enchantons. He is the half-blood offspring of a dead line of French muggle nobility and the ancestral, pure-blood Alricsson family. His family refers to him as the Helmingur, the blood-stain to the ancient pure-blood line that has remained perfect for centuries, and has spent most of his life trying to understand why.

Biography
Known Childhood (1934-46)
His earliest memories were of traveling Europe on a constant adventure with his mother. As a child, absent traditional socialization, Adrian was very attached to her as he showed a prodigious grasp of the world around him. Languages came easily, learning the differences between them when most were grasping at one. He took to the books his mother read him, soon read by him, as they stayed in the same place in lengths best measured in weeks. Everyday could bring something new, a fresh wonder, and Adrian took to that sort of living as it fascinated his young, expanding mind with the best tutor and paragon one could ask for.
Abruptly, everything changed.
Education at Hogwarts (1946-51)
Alricsson's never learned magic at institutions. The knowledge of magic, a more specialized form of learning, that existed within an Icelandic family line was to be both idolized and treasured. Adrian being sent off was the ultimately symbol to show that he did not belong, that everything that had been battered into his psyche.
Attack on The Alric Estate (1951-52)
Choosing to forgo the final year of his education was a difficult decision for him.
Return to Britain (1952-1958)
His only connection after closing the door to his past was Tallulah Sloe, who had been the first person he'd ever run into from Hogwarts.
L'école Enchantons (1958-Present)
A job opportunity at a French finishing school could not have been timed better for Adrian.
