Position Descriptions

Chief Assistants: Student leaders who oversee all cases and, as student nurses, have the authority.

Senior Nurses: Supervise Junior Nurses. Given their experience, may attend patients by themselves. Also can work on apothecary tasks should there be need for extra hands.

Junior Nurses: As the title implies. These nurses are either younger or have the least experience (or are both young and inexperienced). Watch by learning, but may assist patients under the supervision of at least one Senior Nurse. Usually help with patient comfort (fetching clean blankets, etc) and do all the dirty work -- changing the sheets, cleaning, bandaging, handing Senior Nurses things, fetching the Chief Assistants pretty flowers for arrangements, you name it.

Apothecary Assistants: In the most traditional sense of the role. The more complex or important potions may be either already prepared by outside sources or brewed by the Chief Apothecary Assistant; the Apothecary Assistant prepares more common potions under the direction of the Chief Assistant. If the Apothecary Assistant has more experience in Potions, then they are welcome to offer the Chief Assistant their assistance in more 'difficult' potions. Also perform inventory checks, replenish supplies, and clean up potion-related spills.
