He still is not a Slytherin like he wanted to be, but he's making do with Ravenclaw. Still not fitting the stereotype, he's still straying away from Ravenclaw Tower as often as possible by hanging out with friends of every other house. In all ways, he is a regular teenager.

Except, he isn't. There is a lot to live up to with a surname like his. Lycus is the oldest son of Salazar Ricardus and Pandora Ricardus (née Duke). For now, he does not feel the pressure. And so, he is still permitted to do as he please, to have friends of any blood status, to poke around for fun. And that is precisely what he is doing: whatever he wants. Whilst also trying to be a little bit cooler than last term. How will he fare and how will you contribute?

Ignoring Dylan's suggestion that they could always make swimming trunks out of his pants – he knew he could – he just hoped that he could get away with not swimming at all. Instead, he could lurk at the very edge of the water, waiting for Dylan to come up again and then maybe even convince him to go do something more fun after.

"He's in the cabin," He answered with a vague gesture over his shoulder in a questionable direction where the Team Ivy cabins definitely were not.

Lox had been in the cabin for the majority of summer and definitely hadn't come out as often as he had last summer. Not so much for tea parties with Bunny and not so much for hanging out with Bagel. Lox, it would appear to any outsider, was being forgotten about more and more by a boy who was growing up being told that carrying around a stuffed animal dragon wasn't considered particularly cool.

"Are you going to make a pet out of them? Surprise Miss Navarro with them?" It seemed like a Dylan-thing to do, taking in and taking care of whatever creature he'd stumbled across.

"Do you reckon they might do well in the Great Lake, too?"

'Party' registered with just a few seconds of delay, but it only managed to deepen his frown. Because surely he didn't mean–

"The upper-year party."

–apparently that was precisely what he meant.

"Elias–" He tried to interject, even though his comment went unheard in the waterfall of words that followed from his best friend as if it was only logical that the two of them were to attend, as if they were both old enough and both upper years.

"Elias!" He tried again a little louder this time when he was shoved, stumbling slightly and needing to steady himself with one hand on the armrest of the chair he had been sitting in before.

"I'm twelve."

Twelve and a second year. He had been an ickle first year when he had managed to befriend Elias Glass over a bag of both frozen and not-frozen marshmallows. A first year when Elias and he had gotten closer and became real good friends. The kind who didn't care about age differences and who didn't bring it up, apparently, until moments like these.

"You know I'm not upper-year at all, right?"
