1946 / My Tinsel is in a Tangle [open]

Vik sighed, her eyes glazed over as she slumped over a chair with a candy cane hanging from her mouth. As a child she had loved candy, she had even been capable of eating hordes of it, but so much had changed since then and now. In many ways, she should have known better. This was her last year here at Camp Loki before she would be out in the real world. All on her own.

Groaning, partially because of the amount of candy she had consumed and partially from thoughts of being an adult, she closed her eyes and let the candy cane fall onto the floor.

At least it was quiet here, with her own thoughts, there were no children running around at the moment and she was left to her misery in peace. Silently, she was thankful and hoped it would stay that way. Unfortunately, it never did. As soon as she had thought it was safe, the door to that particular room flew open with a bang.

Vik let out another groan.

As Flyidd took a seat on her shoulder, she managed to free the tangles of her hair from the venus flytrap with a wave of her wand and a well-aimed Reductor. Satisfied that perhaps the other flytraps had learned their lesson, she turned to look at the older fairy. Their first encounter had been last summer, in the hell known as Camp Loki; she'd nearly ruined him in the process of discovering him, but luckily enough he had managed to pull through.

In a way, he delighted Viktoria. And his obvious interest in her made her flush.

"Flyidd.." she said slowly, eyeing him as she held her hand up for him to clamber onto. Satisfied with his current position, she lowered her hand to eye-level and scrunched her nose at him. "Shouldn't you be with Eira?" she said sweetly, using her finger to prod at his stomach. Looking up from him, she scanned the room for Eira.

Once found, she abandoned her post and not-so-carefully made her way to an open stool beside her. "You've lost something.." she murmured as Mia began to talk to them about their Infirmary task for the summer. Flyidd, she noted, didn't look to happy to be back with Eira.

1946 / Case Study #2: Rejuvenating Potions

Case Study #2
The Art of Brewing Health

It was an exciting time for Viktoria, to be one of the leads on something such as the Infirmary. In so many ways she was thrilled that they chose her, but also confused on how they thought a seventeen-year-old was the appropriate choice for handling such a responsibility. No matter, the choice had been made and she would carry out her duties accordingly.

Standing flush against a wooden table in the biggest room of the Infirmary, Viktoria gently stirred the long-handled wooden spoon (it reminded her of a boat oar) that was plunged in the depths of a blue liquid inside her cauldron. Her flame roared gently as vapors began to rise and permeate the air.

On her face she wore a serious expression, her eyebrows knitted together as she double-checked her potions guide and looked to the empty room once more.

The room itself had been re-arranged to accommodate six wooden tables identical to the one she worked at; upon each table a cauldron filled with the base she had been concocting and the remaining ingredients needed to complete the potion. Behind Viktoria, a giant piece of parchment with the campers names organized by their tables.

Everything seemed to be in order, now she would wait.

OOC: Welcome to Case Study #2! Go ahead and find your group and let's get started! Your character has free reign of how they interact with the potion; they could add stuff to it, try it, try some of the ingredients, simply stir it, or whatever other crazy things you can think of. Please bold your actions and I will post the results of your choices! Hope you're ready for some fun! ;)

It hadn't been her first choice, to commandeer the onslaught of infirmary-minded students, but Viktoria found herself pleased with the idea of not having to deal with Dueling or Quidditch drama that could present itself.

Eyes intently focused on the piece of parchment clasped in her hand, she missed the trickle of campers as they made their way into the forest Mia had conjured for their first case study. Only when a sudden cry and the whomp of a less-than-comfortable impact resounded against their toadstools, did she even bother to look up and survey the small group that was beginning to gather.

She hadn't spent much time discussing Mia's case study with her, but felt confident her peer would do them both proud. As she leaned back, her hair brushed one of the flytraps and she felt the familiar twinge of pain as some strands were gnarled up by the pointy feelers on the rims of their mouths.

Rather awkwardly she remained sitting there, hoping her frantic eyes would catch Mia's and she could subtly get her out of this particular tangle.

@vik: Let's start new towns and name them Underpants. Also let me know if you want my dream address/FC.

YASSS! I'll get back to you on that dream code, though. I just started my town over (because I got bored-ish) and haven't got the dream suite quite yet. ^^

I like video games, but pretty exclusively Nintendo.  I've been 3DSing loads lately, trying to turn around my shamble of a town in Animal Crossing:New Leaf, but it's a rough job because in addition to being Mayor, I'm also the Town Menace.

Yas, yas, yas! Animal Crossing is my shiznit.

I’ve read more books. Five years ago, I had just picked up the first Game of Thrones book, and was told that the next one would never come out. It did in six months, and now it looks like the sequel will (finally maybe who knows) come out soonish. I also read part of Wheel of Time, which I mention every time in the hope that I actually finish reading the series.

Check out King Rolen's Kin by Rowena Cory Daniells. It's love.

My name is Peter! I am farmer, am 71 years old, and I have been at Hoggies for about... two centuries.

IF YOU NOTICE THE BADGES, The big shiny C stands for clam chowder. So you're welcome to come to me for any questions, or just to talk. I'm really super friendly, I swear!

I HAVE 150,158,156,159,123 CHARACTERS!

Of course I have Adam who is a 15 years old, and will be a Gryffindor! He is furry like a lion! Then I have my others who will mostly be in Elsewhere boards, and that is B. Foster, who is slightly pink and undercooked, and will be causing trouble at the Daily Prophet. Then at the ministry I have Frank Viggano Jr. and Edward Carlisle as Aurors, and then at St. Mungo's I got Joshua Case who is extremely pimply. I also have a few others drifting around, the roundest metamorphmagus Kristoffer Carlisle, and my empath, the steadiest, Quincy Carlisle, and George Viggano just to name a few...

Oh and Silva Ricardus, my only Barnacle. She is awesome!

And yes if you think this is familiar, it is because I let the dog eat my homework, so I didn't really write a new intro. But I do like Mad libs. What's not to like about them?

So yah! Excited for the new term, and can't wait to get started on summer! And I hope to rp with everyone and do all the plots and things and yah!

Yours forever, and fully~

Viktoria Borovsky
There is a lot to be said and expected of a Borovsky; most of which doesn't involve poetry and the niceties of the world. Viktoria, however, is anything but your average Borovsky.

A lover of poetry, nature, innocence, and peace throughout the world; Vik can be considered a gentle-hearted soul that would much rather read you a lovely sonnet as oppose to scratching your face off in an argument. A recent transfer from Durmstrang, she still longs for the comforts of the Mother Land and the friends she left behind in a world that no longer follows her ideology.

A natural-born follower, she marches to the beat of her own subservient drum, Vik can often be found in the company of others. She prefers to be surrounded by people who admire her individuality (not really) and find her love of poetry endearing. She isn't scared to say what's on her mind, but will often find herself apologizing if someone finds it offensive.

Her closest friend is her Grandmama, someone she consistently keeps in contact with while at Hogwarts. When, and only when, it suits her needs can she become a master at deceit. Usually, it only applies to her getting 'assistance' from Grandmama and the Borovsky coffers.

She makes a great followerfriend and very rarely strays far from her social leader. Slowly, she has been coming out of her protective shell, but is still bound by the chains of her childhood and the Church. She's hoping this summer will be the one that changes everything.

As her final year approaches, she is slowly finding her voice and remains on the lookout for true love. She's determined to find it this summer.
