Swan Märchen

Halfblood. 14 July 1932. Bastard Child. Germanic. Silver lime ➴ Pegasus wing feather ➴ 10" ➴ swishy.

Once upon a time, there a boy who rarely spoke. It wasn't that he couldn't speak. No, if he had been so inclined, the boy could have woven galaxies out of words and the world would stop to hear him. But words were at war with the boy. The were like a currency, and he a miser. He would not spend them unless he had to.

The boy was clever, and subtle. Though he spoke but rarely, he was always able to make himself known. To force others to regard him as he is. Understanding came from observation, real listening. He knew how to listen, and how to see. He saw his crazed mother, his wild cousin, his caring grandmother who was not really his grandmother. There was a power in his narrative that held his focus as he searched for the threads of his own story, trying to find the beginning from where he hovered in the middle.

Are you a part of his plot?

Hi, my name is Leah.

I really don't know what to tell you guys about me. I just got my BA in English Literature, and now I'm about to go to graduate school and get a degree in Archival Studies. I work in a library and a book store.

Books. Books everywhere.

I like fairytales and my girlfriend Ash.

Have a list.

  • John Keats.
  • Music: The Dear Hunter, Ed Tullett, Novo Amor, The Japanese House, The 1975, Panic! at the Disco, and Los Campesinos!
  • TV: Shameless, Merlin, other things???
  • Games: Borderlands anything.
  • Pokemon: Togepi.
  • Anime: Utena, Princess Tutu
  • Wine
  • Ashley.

Characters

  • Lamia Cadwallader: Elitist Hufflepuff Pureblood with a blood obsession
  • Orpheus King: A little cutie who is just...a few crayons short of a box
  • Patroclus Ulysses Paladin: A literal puppy, will be your healer.
  • Maël Rey-Cadwallader: Ravenclaw graduate, in love with Felix O-L, working against the Hexenreich
  • Petra Möller: Hexenreich meany pants, will probably also cut you. And by probably I mean definitely. She might being her pet.
  • Sylvianne Marceau: Displaced French Slytherin bean, is an artist.
  • Kelsey Cadwallader: An innocent little bean with a not-so-secret thing for Paris Paladin if only he could figure it out.
