Hogwarts! :D It's so much fun to play a student, and I think the castle sees the most activity over all, which makes me think that it has the most appeal of all of the boards. BUT, I still love Elsewhere, because I love the idea of playing out Ra'as' life after he graduates. <3

Hogwarts, no contest.  It is of course the big draw- people get to play in HP's playground!  It gives 'everyone else' a chance to experience magical school life, without the dangerous worries of the canon books lurking just around every corner.  It's a teen drama with magic thrown in for good measure.

Camp Loki was invented for downtime purposes (it was originally mostly OOC) between terms, once the three-terms per year had been cemented.

Elsewhere I think came as an afterthought, for those people who didn't want to let their graduates go- they wanted to take their beloved characters through the rest of their lives.  Eventually, it developed into a more elaborate setup, with minimal relation to the Castle proper.  It can be fun to bring back old characters to interact with the next generation, for feels.

Come for the game.  Stay for the friends.

Hogwarts, no question about it. That's where all the action happens. Either as a student or as a professor, there's plenty to do there. You will certainly never get bored there during the 3 months of the term.

Elsewhere would come next. It's all the world outside the castle and there's also a lot of stuff to play with. Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, Ministry, St. Mungo's, Daily Prophet ... Lots of stuff to do there, lots of plots to concoct and put into actions either for your own characters or for other characters.

Camp Loki, that's for the summer time. There's plenty of fun to have here too, while the school is on hiatus. But it's just for one month. Then it's back to the castle.

Hogwarts! It's a chance to have magical teenagers interact and have their own dramas, and who wouldn't jump at that? Plus, there are plots that really impact them too, and the thoughts of a teenager are just so fun to write.

Then Elsewhere, because that's where all the adults go, and I really like how you can play out a graduate. Going with a character from firstie to adult is an exercise in character development. Looking back is like a rush of nostalgia.

Hogwarts, hands down. This is completely OOC and has msot to do with the playing possibilities and the character development. The Castle board is clearly the best developed so far, though Elsewhere is coming along very well - I've always had an easier time keeping up with the Castle, though, as it seems to be the main focus of everyone.

Hogwarts. How and why is this even a question? The idea of attending 'Hogwarts' is very appealing to me, to everybody, I should think - either to relive your Harry Potter experience or to solely escape the humdrum of RL, you can't possibly go wrong with Hogwarts. (but if you're tired of teenage drama, there's always Elsewhere, be the best/worst adult you can be!)

Hogwarts! Quidditch, Dueling Tournament, and so many students to relate to!

It's always been Hogwarts, because that's always been my favorite place in HP. Since the first book, I was in love with the castle and that translates here.

Hogwarts for sure, because there is always something crazy different going on and the possibilities are endless, and its awesome that you can take classes c: and then Elsewhere because being able to play out everyday life, going beyond what we know in the books, is a really creative and fascinating challenge.

Hogwarts hands down. That's where all the student drama happens and I enjoy rping just everything about it. Also that's where my main characters lurk, Rin and Cam being students (or in Cam's case he's going to be a student next term) and Jun is the resident crazy, somewhat creepy, professor. Elsewhere because it's where all the cool adults play and it's fun to see all the Hogwarts graduates and where they are now.

I'll be the same and say Hogwarts. I always have fun on that board and it's great to have all the students together. However, I really do like Elsewhere as well, for the range of places and threads.

If you asked me a while ago I would say Hogwarts hands down, but I've actually become more and more Elsewhere.. So those two are neck to neck right now for me. Maybe it's because I don't have a student at the moment and have a lot going on with my Elsewhere people, but I am really looking forward to having Nicor at the Castle though!

I can't help but miss BB and Salem though, I had a blast there

I'M GONNA GO WITH ELSEWHERE!

Even though I adore Hogwarts I'd probably get bored without Elsewhere, and I really enjoy the ability to follow your students' lives after they graduate or just play characters you can't  imagine as students. We need more Quidditch though

Camp Loki, because it's pretty laid back, and gives a glimpse of the roleplaying opportunities for the castle, and because I'm usually mostly active when it's open. XD

Hogwarts overwhelms me sometimes, but I love it, because, well, it's Hogwarts. Need I really say more?

Elsewhere is also absolutely fantastic, but I guess, I still can't play adult characters, even though I have quite a lot over there now, hahaha. Some things may have changed since I've joined, but I guess playing adult characters still isn't one of them, yet.

Hogwarts, because that's where the most important things have happened for Clay. It's also great because all the students are together.

I've only ever had two castle characters, which is alarming, but I've never been able to adequately handle the pressures of the castle, I feel. All my characters tend to be sort of withdrawn there - I don't think I ever threaded Mavs snogging anyone other than Juni - and keep to themselves a lot because I'm not the most introverted person myself and I can't do the whole party like it's 99 thing. I like the slow and steady pace of elsewhere, and also the things you get to do - institutions and otherwise. And I probably find playing adults easier. ._.

Hogwarts. It's where all the teenage angst and hormones are, also awesome professor moments. There are tons of activities to read and join, I just love it.

Hogwarts. I mean, that's where most of our characters have seen development in the most crucial years, and there's so much for the students to be involved with.

Elsewhereeee. I really love exploring the parts of JKR's world that didn't seem to get a whole lot of attention in the books? It just has so much potential for different intricate adult storylines and things. Not to say that I don't love Hogwarts! I absolutely do. But I'm stuck on Elsewhere for now. <3

Hogwarts. It's where all of the action and focus should be. Plus, it's pretty amazing how well the school is developed -- classes, extracurriculars and personal plots.

When it comes down to characters that started out initially as students, I have to say that Hogwarts definitely makes up for a wondrous springboard to eventually propel them into elsewhere. I really feel like Hogwarts grants students the time to explore themselves especially since puberty hits, and it is the place where students get polished and get more detailed with each and every thread they find themselves in. Hogwarts makes up for a wonderful beginning where everything can be tried, where Elsewhere is generally the place for my characters where they are defined. And it is generally in the occupation they choose, the people they stay in touch with or lose, the new situations they encounter and the new people that are involved in those as well. For all of my characters, elsewhere has been the place where I really get to know my characters and their personalities become more set.

My favorite forum is Elsewhere.

Castle is brilliant. It's where I fell in love with a character for the first time (Aries), and it's how I fell in love with the site. It's wonderfully innovative, and always entertaining.

But Elsewhere's where all your babies end up, y'know? An endless parade of students isn't for me; I'll never have a student every term because I want all of my former students to live beyond the Castle (gorgeous, gorgeous thing though it is). I agree with Waldo on this one.

Also, I think Elsewhere has tons of unexplored potential—that's a great thing, too.

I'm torn.

Hogwarts is the focus, it's where everything happens. Classes, romance, drama, squids. But Elsewhere has the Ministry, the MoD, it has life beyond school. As other people have said, it's where you can explore characters growing up, what they do with their lives: and it's a place where I can make up for not posting enough during my character's first 7 years to not post enough for them until eternity.

Hogwarts. We don't call this place Hoggies for nothing.

It's where I'm most active. While I appreciate Elsewhere, I can never seem to keep up much with it.

Hoggies for sure!! Camp is a lot of fun and a good place to let charries loosen up a bit, but there just so much going on at the castle all of the time. Can’t be beat.

I have a very emotional bond with Camp Loki. I don't know, it feels like literally anything could happen at camp, and usually does. Like it's not quite real but it is. It's like all that stuff your teacher tells you when you study A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Elsewhere, for sure. I love how there's a place where your adults / graduated students can be played out, which many HP RP sites lack (from my experiences at least). Not to mention, it's crazy developed! You've got the Ministry, Mungo's, Daily Prophet, Merlin's Order of Defense -- four institutions. And if you don't feel like doing institutions then you can open a shop. (But I just wish leveling was better in Elsewhere.)

While I do love Hogwarts since that's where all the action and fun is, it can get a little too fast for me at some points. However, the possibilities are endless over there and you can do lots of fun things with your student(s). c:
