→ CHARACTER INFORMATION.

Name: Harry A. Ambrose

Birthday: October 23rd, 1944

Hometown: Munich, Germany

Bloodline:
Muggleborn

Magical Strength (pick one):
Conjuring & Summoning

Magical Weakness (pick one):
Divination

Year (pick two): FOURTH!!! Fifth if have to!

Biography:
Born from the soil of Germany, Harry Adel Ambrose is a sight to see in person. With his charming grin and luscious hair, he instantly is a picture of perfection. Any person to meet him automatically finds themselves enjoying his presence. Both his parents are born muggles and most of his life, Harry was raised muggle. His family owned their own bakery which Harry learned his baking skills from. Ever need a mean raspberry tart, Harry is your guy. He wasn't the only child of Hamlet and Karlene Ambrose.

Three years older than him was his brother Norman. Norman was the pride and joy of his family. Sure Harry was seen as the golden child but Norman was the perfect son. Strong, handsome and already engaged to a local carpenter's daughter, sweet Rachel.

Then came Harry, the second born son. The little golden sun of the family. Out of his five siblings, Harry would be the only one with dark hazel eyes. Everyone else either had green eyes or brown, never a mix. He often liked to brag about how his eyes were a mix.

After Harry was the twins, Vivien and Vontell. Tricky little devils they were. Often pick pocketing the wealthy and collecting random trash artifacts. Finally, there was little Willa. The youngest of all five Ambrose children. Harry favorites her more than any of his other siblings, mainly because he's convinced he can make her just like the female version of him. They already were matching with golden hair, compared to the plain dirty blonde his other siblings had. The only difference was Willa had pretty soft green eyes, not a dark hazel like his.

When he was ten, Harry retrieved a letter from Durmstrang. It was strange at first, being Harry always thought he was different than his siblings but that was because he was convinced he was the best looking out of the other four. For only three years Harry attended Durmstrang. It wasn't a terrible school but Harry enjoyed all his friends he made there. That was until his family's bakery was running out of business. With a dream, his father envisioned they could re-make their bakery in Scotland and gain more customers. So packing up the big family of seven, the Ambrose clan moved to the hills of Scotland. That is where we find our selves in present time.

Note: This section is optional, and is up to you to complete.

House Request: Hufflepuff would be great but the hat can make the final decision!

Personality:
Harry looks like a ball of sunshine on the outside but inside, a tornado is what truly lies. He isn't too happy about moving away from Germany and to London but, he doesn't mind seeing all the new faces. He's very spontaneous and quite the flirt so ladies watch out! He generally gets along rather well with anyone he meets unless you rub off him on the wrong way. That's the thing with Harry. He can be pretty easy go lucky but once you cross him wrong, you're stuck in a world of petty.

Appearance:
Beautiful golden hair, reaches a bit past his ears. Dark hazel eyes that tend to show more of the brown than green. A smirk on his face as if he's always up to no good. Watch out cause the little german boy might as well be doing something no good!

Option 2:

That rat of his was in for it now.

The gray little rascal had disappeared from his clutches at breakfast. Again.

Before Hugh even knew what was happening, Merlin had shot across the floor, somehow managing to avoid all the feet walking across the hall and had escaped through the open doors.

Which meant that Hugh was now stomping through rows of flowers and other various flora, searching for the small creature. It was like the rat knew Hugh was allergic to most flowers. Merlin always chose to run to the gardens whenever he got away from Hugh. It was as if the rat did not want to have him for an owner.

Hugh had named his pet Merlin because he had hoped the powerful name would give the rat more incentive to be more than a rat. Not that he expected Merlin to change into a wizard or anything, but rats were just so...useless, for the most part. With a name like Merlin, Hugh thought it might give the rat purpose.

The only purpose Merlin seemed to have was getting away from Hugh as often as possible.

As the fifth year trudged into the second row of flowers, not taking much care to avoid trampling the first row, he felt the first sneeze building up pressure in his nose and behind his eyes.

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

He pulled apart a section of bright red flowers; he didn't know what they were called because he despised flowers, and ducked his head low to peer into the depths of the flowerbed. It was moving closer in proximity to the flowers that finally did it. Hugh took in three great breaths and then let out an almighty sneeze. It was strong enough to disturb some of the dirt on the ground before him.

Groaning, he stood up again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. It was as he was turning his head, his nose running up and down his arm, that movement in his peripheral vision caught his attention. Normally one who preferred to put his best face forward, Hugh was a bit embarrassed to be caught wiping his runny nose on his robes.

Nevertheless, Hugh put on his best haughty voice. albeit a bit thickly with his plugged nose and said, "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

RESPONSE:

Kicking a small stone nearby, Harry let out a sigh. He had left only a bit early during supper, finding himself wanting a moment to walk around the school's gardens. Harry found himself always drawn to the flourished green house, taking in the smells of the different herbs and flowers. It reminded him of home and of Willa. He could imagine her now, getting herself scolded at by their mother for dirtying herself while trying to plant a dandelion.

Grazing his fingers over the petals of a lily flower, the blonde pursed his lips in thought. Could he bring some back to his dorm or would those silly adults with pointy hats yell at him again?

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

Head lifting up, Harry raised an eyebrow in curiosity as a boy no older than him ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Silly English boy.

"Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

"Vibe your noze, it's disgusding. Now vat did vu looze?" He grinned, holding his hand out to help the other lad. He tried so hard to not grimace at the snot.

Hi Harry,

Your application looks great, there’s just one thing we’ll need you to tweak before we can get you accepted.

While you’re right that Durmstrang doesn’t accept Muggleborns, it’s pretty implausible that Harry’s parents would have been able to write to Durmstrang to forge Harry’s blood status, given that they’re Muggles and wouldn’t know that Durmstrang even exists. Durmstrang’s system is also likely to be as foolproof as Hogwarts when it comes to sending out letters, so it’s very unlikely that they would accidentally accept a Muggleborn.

My suggestion would be for you to change this section of Harry’s bio and send him to one of the other German wizarding schools in our canon, which allow Muggleborns. These schools are Eisenstab Hexengymnasium and Hapsburg School of the Magical Arts (see here for more information on both). If you could edit out anything in the biography that deals with Durmstrang and come up with a different reason for Harry’s transfer to Hogwarts, that would resolve the issue.

Once you’ve made the required changes, please repost your entire revised application below, and we’ll be more than happy to take another look. Thanks!
cherry lips, crystal skies
i could show you incredible things

stolen kisses, pretty lies
you're the king, baby, i'm your queen
