Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Born in Miami, Florida, Vienna McCarthy was an extremely talented witch. She was studious and refined with a thirst for knowledge. From the age of 5, she would beg her parents to take her to the community library so she could read up on Muggle History and other such things connected with Muggles.

When she was ready to attend school, her father waited patiently for his daughter's letter from Salem. When it came, she read it and then put it down on the table. She announced that it wasn't the school for her and she didn't want to go. This angered her father and he yelled and yelled until his voice was hoarse, but nothing could change her mind. Her mother wanted her daughter to go to Salem, but it wasn't her or her husband's decision, so she sat her down and asked her where she wanted to go. The woman was expecting her daughter to give her the name of the school and a feeble reason why, but that wasn't what she got. She was told that she wanted to go to Croatan Academy and then went into detail, putting forward several structured points as to why she wanted to attend school there. Surprised at her daughter's diplomatic decision, Vienna's mother accepted her daughter's choice and sent an owl to the school, who sent back a reply and invited her to attend.

During her schooling, she showed extreme promise in Transfiguration and Summoning and a decent knowledge of Charms. Her weakness was Divination and she avoided it at all costs. At graduation, many of her peers and teachers thought she would go into a teaching career, but she didn't, instead becoming a freelance photographer. Photography was ahobby of hers that she had been interested in since she was given her first camera when she was 14.

Now, she works full time as a photographer, jumping from job to job, doing as much freelance work as she can. She wants a relationship, but she is so busy with work that she doesn't have time to look for a suitable husband.

It was impossible for Dianne to stay out of trouble. It wasn't that she was looking for trouble, it's just that trouble always managed to find her. Today she wished she could find something equally familiar but more comforting.

The five-year old girl hugged her puffskein closer to her and brushed her face in its soft fur for comfort. She had named him herself and he was always her special pet. No she was certain she had never gone down this side street before. Her anxiety increased every second as darkness fell as she walked down the road. A loud noise came to her left and she buried her face in her pet's fur completely. The scared girl bolted the opposite way slamming the both of them into the wall of the nearest building. Tottering back a few steps she found a door a few feet to her right and ran to open it. What light there was inside spilled out into the darkness and she spilled into the room.

Once in, she was caught between the impulse to curl her cloak up more tightly around her and loosen her grip on it. She wasn't alone anymore but she was now among strangers instead, which was nearly as terrifying. Her puffskein had recovered from the shock of the wall and now was purring contentedly as the girl hugged it, causing a mildly calming effect on the girl. Gathering her courage, she marched up to the nearest person, pulled on the nearest clothing hem and blurted out in a loud voice:

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

She paused to draw a breath in her nearly never-ending sentence, "He misses my and his mommy."

To explain the scared girl held up the custard-colored puffskein. Sambundeakin the puffskein, however simply purred as if nothing on earth was wrong in the world.

Roleplay Response:
CLICK, CLICK, FLASH!

Vienna was covering a small function in London. An Ministry official had visited a St Mungos and given an enormous donation to the hospital's charity and she had been contacted by an American worldwide newspaper to travel and capture the photographs, while a journalist would cover the story.

After taking photos for the past two hours, she was finally out of the hospital wards and into Reception, taking the last couple of photographs before the Ministry official exited the building and disapparated back to the Ministry. Sighing, she wiped the lens of her camera with the sleeve of her knitted black cardigan. It had been a long day and she needed sleep. She was staying at the Leaky Cauldron along with her colleague, the journalist. Putting her camera back into her satchel, she made her way towards the door. Suddenly, the doors opened before her and a little girl wandered in, walking over to her.

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

Looking at the puffskein in the girl's arms, she took in his calm demeanor and smiled softly, looking back to the child who was obviously projecting her own emotions onto her pet.

"Don't worry, sweet pea. I'll help you."

"He misses my and his mommy."

"Well then let's go find her. The faster we do, the faster he will be happy again."

Holding out her hand for the girl to hold, she walked towards the door and opening it, holding it open for the little girl to go through first. This girl needed her mommy and she was going to help her get back to her.
