Biography:
19 of December 1932 was the day Lorraine and Edmond Ashe cherished most in their older years. Despite the ripe age of fifty, the couple doted on their youngest son throughout his years. His parents believed in big families, and boy, did they have one. Kieran was the youngest of eight siblings, and he liked it that way. Even though he hated all of the hand-me-downs from his brothers, the chaos throughout their house was comforting, almost a necessity. It often made him think of how many children he would have of his own. Hopefully a lot.

Out of the eight children, only five had magical powers; Lucille, Sandra, Nicholas, Elijah, and Kieran. Growing up with magic wasn’t too hard for Joshua, Alfred, and Hannah, but the jealousy was still there. When the five received their letters from Hogwarts, fighting arose but after a year or two, it all subsided for the most part. And then….one day, their parents just vanished. No trace, no word, no nothing. Their home was no longer a place full of memories. Their eldest sibling, Lucille, was brought into the Ministry one morning, and when she returned that afternoon, there was a new house waiting for the five magical children. At the mere age of 5, Kieran didn’t really understand what was going on. All he knew was he missed his family deeply, and wanted them to return.

Lucille did her best, but that’s all she could do. At 33, she had her own child (Annabella, 8) with her husband Gregory, and the pair of them works at the Ministry. Sandra (fraternal twin of Joshua who was lost in the warp; 30) works at the Daily Prophet, Nicholas (29) also works for the Ministry and is married to Emily,  and Elijah (22) is doing his internship at St. Mungo’s. Kieran lives with Lucille and Gregory during his breaks, but when summer comes, he usually attends Camp or bounces around each sibling’s home to see all of them. The siblings rarely speak of their lost family, but it weighs heavily on Kieran's mind at all times.

Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Sitting on a bench under the shade of willowy trees, a ginger haired teen watched the sight before him. Children of all ages played loudly, basking in one of the few days of the year where the sun shone all day long. It seemed as if everyone within a five kilometer radius had the same idea: take advantage of the beautiful day.

He watched as a small girl threw a bit of a tantrum, and it brought a smile to his face. It reminded the teen boy of his childhood memories. Playing with Elijah or Hannah were some of his fondest memories, aside from his parents, of course. He missed his parents deeply. Thought they disappeared some time ago, the wound was still fresh.

"You!"...Do you want to play?"

That small girl was talking to him, and it somewhat took him by surprise. His face broke out into a grin, and immediately he stood up. "Yes, I do," he said before walking her way.

Milo, Kieran

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Born and rasied in Cardiff, the upbringing of the only Weston child was typical of any pureblood.  Private tutors, musical lessons (most specifically the piano), language lessons, and sports took up his days up until age eleven. It was important that he be the best as much as he could, to uphold the family name. Afterall, one day, he would have to take over and become the head of Weston. It was a huge responsibility that he didn’t want, not in the slightest. (even now)

Sorted in Hufflepuff, his father (Nicholas) was disappointed, for he was in Slytherin, but he thought it showed his son had a better outlook on life. And that would come in handy for when Oliver took his position in the home. His mother (Betty) was thrilled, for she was a Hufflepuff alumni.  She made sure he let him know each time he returned home on break how proud she was. His mum raised him right as a gentlemen, well a devious gentlemen.

His teenage years composed of lavish parties, suits and ties, slicked back hair. Meeting and greeting the right person in this way, and that. Manners were a must in the elitist world, and he had more than enough practice to perfect them. As he grew older, the various parties became more of a game for him and his best friend Alec Thorne; they used them as an excuse to hold competitions. The boys were frequently trying to see who get the most girls, normally it came to a draw.

After both boys graduated with honours, Alec became a lawyer and moved to London. It didn’t take long for Ollie to follow him to the bustling city, away from the prying eyes of his parents. He went against their wishes, and went into the medicinal field at St. Mungo’s. There, he took his time and became certified in two fields. Both them equally interesting to him; Psychology and Spell Damage, doing one internship after the other.

Just starting out as an actual Healer now, money was tight so through mutual friends, he and Elsie planned to move in together the August of 1947. There he would save up to eventually buy a nice cottage.

You come across one of these posts on the site. Please select one & reply as your character:

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
Lunch with Alec went as it normally did. Dining at Pasta Vino was delicious as always. The topic over the mouth watering Italian was their plans for the weekend. Ollie rarely worked the weekend at St. Mungo's, and surprisingly, his best mate had it off as well. Typically he worked longer hours on Fridays, to get in overtime.

After departing from their ritualistic lunch hour, he waved goodbye and started through the busy streets of Diagon Alley. He needed a new cloak, even Elsie loved to point that out. She was sometimes painfully mean to him, though he didn't really mind. He probably deserved with the girls he had going in and out of the flat at all times.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!”

He made his way to the woman crying out for help and smiled deviously. She was very beautiful, a little over dramatic, but beautiful. He offered his hand to her, and bowed his head. "May I offer some assistance, ma'am?"
