Application for Hogwarts School

→ CHARACTER INFORMATION.

Name: Gia DeAngelis

Birthday: August 13th

Hometown: Venice, Italy (lives in London)

Bloodline: Pureblood Unknown

Magical Strength (pick one):
Charms

Magical Weakness (pick one):
 Transfiguration

Year (pick two): 4th (preferred), 5th

Biography:
The DeAngelis family fancied themselves unauthorized enforcers of the law.  They were ruthless, and did what they had to do to get the job done. Nikolas and Destiny DeAngelis quit their auror training to become the people they took an oath to fight against.

You didn’t mess with them if you knew what was good for you. Owed a debt? It was usually best to pay up before the DeAngelis’ came to collect. They never found themselves in a mess they couldn’t buy their way out of. Though people feared them so much that they rarely reported them, anyway.

Such was a case that the Triplets were brought into the mix. No one could recall Mrs. DeAngelis even being pregnant. But they returned from a long trip in Italy with three baby girls. Triplets, they said, who were their pride and joy.

Fraternal girls who were as different in looks as they were in personality, each shining in different ways.

Gianna was the baby, and she had no qualms about taking advantage of that fact. Getting whatever she wanted was a talent. By the time she was ten all she had to do was pout and their father gave her whatever she wanted.

Gia didn't see like the other two girls though. When someone spoke she would see colors with the sound waves. Her world was a rainbow of opportunity, quite literally.

Red, orange, yellow.. Colors flowed through the air like a river. Green, blue, indigo, violet.. An array of ever changing color.

Her real mother was a dancer for an opera house in Venice. One of her father's many affairs. One out of three that ended with a child. What better than giving the child up to have a better life? Eventually she passed away in a mysterious accident.

Being a triplet had it's ups and downs. She always had a shoulder to cry on, but that shoulder would also eventually make fun of her for it. The only solace she had was when she was singing.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Note: This section is optional, and is up to you to complete.

House Request: Slytherin, Ravenclaw (JUST PLEASE NOT HUFFLEPUFF)

Personality:
Gia carries a smile on her face 24/7 and is the epitome of the saying ignorance is bliss. She's not very smart. She's not very brave. She's not very loyal. Nor is she very ambitious... Her favorite color is baby blue because that's the color she sees with her own sound waves. She's brutally honest most of the time, but it's even worse when she's having a bad day.

Appearance:
Her light brown, straight hair is worn in a high ponytail 95% of the time and it still reaches down to her waist. That isnt saying much though since she's on the short and tiny side in terms of size. She has tan skin amd large brown eyes.

Option I:

The dungeons. A place eleven-year-old Evangeline had not yet travelled since her arrival at Hogwarts.

A place she really was just fine with not knowing; but it was too late. The dare had been accepted, even if it had been done in fear of being kicked out of Gryffindor, like the older girls had said she would because Gryffindors were supposed to be brave.

The air changed instantly when she hit the main corridor of the dungeons. The dampness was almost too much for her and she instinctively took a deep breath to avoid the sensation of being suffocated. There was also a sour burning smell which Evangeline assumed was from many, many Potions lessons.

Further and further she walked, her steps so slow and gentle they made no noise against the stone walls and floor. The feeling that she wasn't alone crept up her spine and raised the tiny hair on the back of her neck. Shivering, Evangeline wrapped her arms around herself. Suddenly, she missed the warmth and comfort of the Gryffindor common room. The fire was always going and it made her feel at ease.

Why had she let those girls talk her into this? She was only eleven, she didn't have to be brave. Surely the Headmistress would not kick her out of Hogwarts for not being brave.

If only she had these thoughts while being dared to search for the ghost of one Emma Birch, whom supposedly haunted the dungeons. It was not, Evangeline had learned, the place where the sixteen-year-old girl's life had ended but as she had been from the house with a snake as its mascot, it was the place her spirit had returned to. That common room was down here somewhere, she'd been told.

Something - the small blonde girl wasn't quite sure what - but something made her stop in her tracks suddenly. There was a low, dull thumping noise. Or maybe that was her heart beating so loudly she thought it was coming from outside her body.

"H-h-hello?" Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Remembering that she was supposed to be brave, Evangeline tried again.

"Hello! Is Emma Birch here?"

The sound of her own words bouncing back at her off the walls made her jump.

Response

Gia was determined to make Slytherin the premiere house of the school. The first phase would be to transform the dungeons. A fresh coat of pink paint would do nicely. Everyone liked pink. How could anyone hate it?

Taking her paint brush she made long strokes of pink paint on one of the many walls in the dungeon. Even if it took her all year, the dungeon would get brighter. So bright that the Slytherins would be forced to be happy cause that's what bright colors did.

"Paint a wall, paint a wall. If you do this you'll bring joy to all!" She sung as she splattered the wall with some more paint.

Then she heard a voice of someone obviously younger and scared looking for one Emma Birch.

"There's no Emma Birch in here!" She yelled from around the corner and continued to paint. "If you want you can help me paint though!"
