Hi Jean-Luc! Your app is looking great, however, there is one small detail that need to be addressed before it can be accepted. Today was apparently not going to be one of those days. Just as Jean-Luc took a deep breath, crossed his arms and leaned back up against the cold, brick walls, a shrill squeaking sound pierced his ears as a tiny grey rat darted out from down the steps and into the flowers, likely going after the apple core that Jean-Luc had just thrown in there. In this passage of your RP sample, you describe the actions of Hugh's rat. Without his player's permission, and because he never describes the rat interacting with anyone in his own post, taking control of another character's rat would be considered powerplaying. If you could alter this part of your RP sample and repost your entire revised application below, we'll be happy to give it another look!

I'm going to go ahead and accept your app so you can get started at the castle. However, the levels you've requested are unbalanced. As per the Guide to Earning Magical Levels: 7. Very important: it will be the responsibility of the student to ensure that his or her levels are balanced. By this, we mean that one's lowest level must be equal to at least half his or her highest level after year one. Half points will be disregarded. Meaning, while Indigo's Divination is still at 4, his Charms level cannot go any higher than 9. You'll need to put the extra point into a different level. Hi Cayden! You app is absolutely fantastic! There is, however, one minor detail that will need to be fixed before it can be accepted. You have Cayden's birthday set to January 1942, which would make him 17 when term begins. However, you list your year preference as 6th or 5th year, where students are usually 16 or 15 respectively when term begins on September 1st. Take a look at our Birth Year Guide for further details. You could either amend Cayden's birth date to fit with his first year choice or specify whether he was held back a year. Once you've made the required changes, please post your entire revised application below and we'll be happy to give it another look. Thank you!
