Biography: (100 words minimum.)

"And why must I go?" the blonde asked, quite visibly irritated with the antics of her mum. Another event, another dress, another boring suitor to bore her to the point of no return. She stared into the vanity's mirror, the beauty staring back she didn't know, not anymore. The dark haired woman stood behind her, long sun streaked locks lay limp in her hair, a brush combing through the tousled ends.

"Because it'll please your father," the woman answered without an ounce of emotion in her voice.  It was a conversation the pair had been through time and time again, pleasantries were no longer a luxury. "You know he isn't happy about your behavior lately. Why can't you act more like Isobel?" The sound of her younger sister's name made her eyes glaze over, instantly tuning out the voice of the woman who had brought her into the world.

The two year difference didn't put the girls at odd, it was more their parents. Jai could never do anything right, except be beautiful. Her sister, on the other hand, could do it all, pushing Jai to the side in their parents' eyes. The golden child was the youngest of the family, a lone brother four years older than her. Dean was also great at everything he tried, climbing the political ladder quicker than ever heard of.

And Jai -- well, she could swim. And play quidditch, but that was it really.

No wonder they were dropping her at a camp to be babysat.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Hogsmeade was proving to be more interesting than she had originally anticipated. The weather was vastly different than the intense heat of her homeland Australia, slightly chillier. But the atmosphere was lighter, friendlier even, something her hometown lacked in her eyes. The culture was too much different, but still held its differences with beauty.

With shopping bags in hand, Jai walked alone down the streets of the busy village. The sun was high, a single cloud moving towards it, threatening to take away its shine. Pulling the darkened lenses that framed her face, the blonde chose to cut through the park to her next destination, a thirst creeping into the depths of her throat.

A shrill, young voice caught her attention. She peered down to see a child demanding her attention. It brought a smirk to her features, reminding her of a young Isobel. She took a step closer to give her the attention she so commanded.

"Yes, dear?"

A proposition of a playdate struck her interest before glancing around for the girl's parents.

"Will your parents mind, little one?" Not that she ever did anything her parents told her.
