Taharial Altier (Omg, I’m sorry, I cant stop…)

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Irulian Aldaris was born in Finland, only to find her home being in England.

Her father was an opulent, lavish man of wealth. Favouring those with pretentious pureblood heritage and an absurd amount of intelligence, as not just any man was fortunate enough to drink scotch with him. The Aldaris man was one  coming from a background of old money, wealth tracing back to the times of Nobles and Earls, Kings and Queens. He would avidly talk about his ancestry with pride dripping from his tongue and malice in his gaze. For the Aldaris family did not often make mistakes, as an Aldaris who allowed himself the carelessness of making one, would not be fit to belong in its ranks.

So when the man discovered that he had a daughter born in Finland, he was utterly disgusted with himself.

It had been from a moment of weakness, a glamour to the eye of a young, foolish boy. He had not seen faults in his actions at the time, falling victim to the drink and his own hunger for the pleasant feeling of another, flesh against flesh. And so he, like Adam once was in the Garden of Eden, was tempted by a woman. He blamed her for his actions and moment of lunacy, not taking in account that for such an action to take place, it took two beings.

The man spent many a night debating over the fate of his daughter, keeping the secret hidden from those around him and betraying not a cent of guilt in his eyes. For he was an Aldaris and they do not make mistakes. The thought of his daughter in Finland, growing up with ignorant, filthy muggles caused him much distress. If perhaps the man was true to his family name, he would have never even thought of returning to see if the child was indeed safe, however guilt tore at his mind like a hurricane, leaving nothing but thoughts of terrible shame and resentment.

He truly was a buffoon and paid the price for his actions.

Irulian left Finland when she was five, having nothing to take with her but a single memory of a woman who showed her no motherly affection nor glanced at her for more then a moment without spewing out bitter words of regret and miscalculation. For she was a godly woman and was faulted with her own human thoughts and emotions. She had consorted with one who practiced witch craft and it shone through Irulian’s eyes. The girl lived in terrible conditions and was often times left to fend for herself when her mother could not, or would not, live up to her parental responsibilities.

So when her father came from the land where they spoke another tongue entirely, she was almost relieved. Everything was foreign to her in this new land, the clothing they wore, the way they pronounced things and how affection was displayed. Her father never openly told her that he loved her, only suggested it by purchasing her material items that proved to him that he thought she was worth it, even if her blood statues was not as pure as his. The man was softer on his daughter, however hid her away from the world and often times believed it be for her own protection, if not his own tail. Irulian was said to be the child of a maid servant, and nothing more. Hiding the fact that indeed she was the daughter of their heir that dwelled in the manor. His affection towards her went unnoticed and was surely under the radar of the older men.

The child received private tutors and excelled in lessons, if she had been able to attend Hogwarts, one would think that the female would have been sorted into Ravenclaw due to her intelligence, wit and wisdom beyond her years. She never acted as a child her age should, probably due to her not having much social contact with others her age. She enjoyed spending hours alone or with the company of affable bewildering adults that tested her mind and tugged at its limits. She grew particularly fond of puzzles and became somewhat obsessed in solving them, thus surrounding herself with human beings that provided her with a challenge, to attempt to break the code that warded their thoughts off from the rest of the world.

Her childhood was minuscule and one that she did not often enjoy to look back upon, for Irulian, her childhood stopped the moment she left for England where her father immediately prepped her for adulthood and secrecy. For he would not allow his secret to be betrayed by his own daughters foolish, apathetic mistakes. So she learned, for he was never unkind to her and gave the child no reason to betray the trust that he had so unwillingly given to her. She did not tell a soul of his secret and made sure that it was incredibly believable that she indeed the daughter of a maid, nothing more, and that the good heir had taken her in.

She was taught to speak Spanish, French and studied Latin for a long time during her years in the manor, as well as mathematics and magical history. She also had regular magic lessons which she particularly enjoyed and did exceedingly well in. She found herself desiring a future that included more then what her life considered of at the moment. Her thoughts often drowning in her dreams of becoming a Healer, Teacher or perhaps even work in the Ministry. Anything that would allow her to grow into her full potential and where she did not need any support from a man pretending to be nothing to her. She realized as she grew that she did not have parents, nor would she allow her father to come back into her life as an affectionate figure. He was merely a man who had screwed up royally and paid his debt to her by brining her to England and allowing her a place to stay until she became an independent adult.

However, with the war looming around the corner, she struggled to find the time or bravery to apply for work and ended up as another maid in another manor, the Albear Manor to be precise. Irulian kept to herself there, minding her own business and never leaving any traces of her own existence for the family to see. She did not mind working there, for it was not hard work and the masters were kind towards her when she allowed herself to be seen by them. This suited both parties well and Irulian was more then happy to go about her trade without stopping to admire the flowers, or in this case, the Albear brothers. She did however learn a great deal about purebloods, this family in particular and found their politics and antics amusing.

She worked for the family for three years until retiring at the age of twenty to go off and find herself, whatever that meant for the young girl. She would not admit to missing the family she looked after so well, especially not to their faces, however often found herself thinking of little Ra’asiel, optimistic Cassiel, calculated Ambriel and of course the two more solemn older boys, Michael and Azrael. However, she would not waste her life away doing for them what they could do for themselves and vowed to meet them again during different circumstances, where she would be their equal.

For she was worth just as much as they were.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
Diagon Alley was brimming with being left, right and center.

So Irulian snarled.

She cast her gaze downwards at the snow abundant stone walkway, steadily keeping an eye on her feet in case of any unfortunate pills of snow or rubbish. She would not fall today, or any other day for that matter. It would be terribly embarrassing and hurt her ego more then anything else. She would not make a fool of herself in front of this amount of humans and resented the fact that she was forced into coming out in the first place.

But she had children to feed.

The Irish Wolfhound and Pug to be exact.

It was her own fault for leaving this damned shopping trip so late, and now she was paying for it. Trudging in the freezing snow that she believed God had sent to punish her for her own stupidity. But when little Merlin glanced up at her with his little wrinkly gaze and Roxie pawed at her hip almost causing her to topple over, she realized that it was due time she feed them. She hadn’t let them go hungry, not at all, only once they noticed that their bowls were getting empty, they panicked and she realized that there was nothing left.

So here she was, pushing and shoving her way through a detestable crowd of ignorant shoppers.

So of course, she hadn’t even noticed the elderly man coming towards her.

“Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!”

The man, box and other numerous glittery items went tumbling over her head and sent her toppling over backwards and landing hard with her backside in the snow. Now covered in sparkly tinsel and glitter, Irulian stared at everyone glancing at her in horror, embarrassment filling her cheeks with ruby red colouring and forcing her to scramble upwards as quickly as she possibly could, nearly forgetting about the man in front of her.

"I am so sorry! This blasted snow!”

She gave a brisk nod, swiftly removing everything from her clothing and hair, probably missing a few strands in her hurried brush over.

“Its alright, I’m fine.”

She raised a brow extending a hand, “Are you?”
