Biography: Quin is the youngest of seven, she has two older brothers and four older sisters, of which all attended Hogwarts, and all were sorted into Ravenclaw. Quin's mother passed away when she turned four, she died in a broom flight accident. Her father Taveck is a brilliant man, always coming up with something that needed to be done to help the world. He works as a magizoologist but loves to experiment with potions and the like. Growing up in Hogsmeade Quin didn't get that much experience with Muggles or the outside world. She always loved when the Hogwarts students would visit the town because the town seemed so much more exciting and alive.
When Quin was eight her and her friends went off to explore the forest. They were hiking around for quite a while pretending to be powerful witches and wizards, dueling each other with fake wands that had been fashioned out of twigs they broke off of trees. While they played in the woods the day pressed on and it soon got dark. They weren't able to find their way back to the village so they just huddled together, scared that no one would find them. sometime in the night they had fallen asleep and her father had found them. When she hadn't returned by nightfall he had grown worried and gone out looking. So she and her friends found themselves waking up in their beds at home as if they had been there the whole time. The week after, her dad bought her a small compass to wear around her neck. Her friends never wandered so far from the village again after that, but Quin was more eager than ever to go back out and explore.
Her brothers and sisters never seemed to be around anymore when she was ten. Her eldest sister had moved to London and was working with the ministry, and her eldest brother was off who knows where, studying dragons. She didn't really know what her other brother or second eldest sister were up to. And the youngest of her elder siblings, the twins, were always off with their friends. When she turned Eleven all of her siblings were there. The twins even got out of school for part of the day to come visit. She had never been so happy. Especially when her Eldest sister announced that she was engaged. When the school year came to an end Quin was already excited to receive her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. When it finally came she barely stopped talking about how excited she was, her father got fed up with it so brought her to Diagon Alley within a few days so she would stop talking and start reading.

Personality: Quin is generally trying to instigate some kind of adventure, whether that be trying to get friends to go hiking in the woods, or to go walking through a city. However, regardless of the adventure she is trying to start, she always tries to get friends to go with her.
Appearance: Quin is just about average height for her age, possibly a little bit taller. She Has smooth black hair that she keeps cut short. Her skin is a pale olive color. Her eyes are a forest green. She is pretty average in build, she doesn't stand out much. Really her main quirk lays in the fact that her ears end in a slight point; which she assumes was the result of her father's constant meddling with potions, regardless of the source she is proud of it.
→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.Option 1Quin had been out exploring the castle, and had lost all track of time. After who knows how long she had found herself wondering the dungeons. Unfortunately she hadn't gotten any of her friends to come along, or else she might not have gotten so lost. This wasn't exactly her preferred area of the castle to be in.
She tried her best to retrace her footsteps but kept getting distracted by one thing or another. In part she didn't exactly want to find her way, preferring the adventure. At least not for a while, but now she was getting tired and wanted to get some sleep before classes the next day.
That's when Quin heard it, a stuttering question that she couldn't quite make out. She moved closer and as she walked she heard it more clearly spoken.
"Hello! Is Emma Birch here?"
Quin turned the corner to find a girl from Gryffindor that couldn't have been any older then Quin.
"Hullo! I haven't seen an Emma Birch down here. Maybe try somewhere else, I've been walking around down here for a while and haven't found anyone. Would you be able to show me the way back to the staircases? I'm a bit lost down here."
Quin smiled at the girl in hopes that she wasn't just as lost as Quin.
"I'm Quin by the way. Quin Eldritch."
