Biography: (100 words minimum.)In early June 1950, a shaman had told Ahn Tae-min and Jung Hyun-jin that danger was coming to their family if they stayed in Korea. And in no time at all, they couple had sent their three children off to Europe. They waved their goodbyes at the port of Incheon on 24 June, and the next day war erupted.
Hee-jun, Hee-soo, and Hee-young landed in Dover several weeks later, only to be informed that their parents would never be joining them.
Hee-soo was only five years old at the time, a rowdy and rambunctious toddler that people at the the orphanage couldn't deal with, especially because he was strange and there often seemed to be an aura of
magic around him. Only Hee-jun could calm him down. Together with Hee-young, his older twin sister by 9 minutes, he wreaked havoc at the orphanage.
All three children were eventually adopted by a nice young English couple in Surrey, who started to notice magical happenings whenever the Ahns where involved...

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.
Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.
It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.
"John, I said
wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.
Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.
Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby. "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.
"...Do you want to play?"
Roleplay Response:Hee-soo's English was still no good.
Even after he and his siblings moved to England, he'd refused to speak anything but Korean since he only talked to Hee-jun and Hee-young anyway. Only after he was adopted, at the age of 9, did he finally start opening up to the new language.
He was afraid to go outside or to the parks, where he would surely meet some wide-eyed, blonde-haired children who looked nothing like him, who would try to speak to him.
Still, he found himself at the park with Hee-young, his translator, who'd run off to play on the swings.
"You!" Hee-soo turned to see one of those children he greatly feared glaring right at him and sunk down behind a bush.
"...Do you want to play?"He slowly emerged from behind the foliage and took a look at the strange broom the girl was holding. "Play? With that?"
