Biography:
It was a cold midwinter night in the barren hills of Russia. The poor and unfortunate had already flocked back to their warm fur addled huts while the endowed nobility of the land slept soundly in the sprawling palaces those very peasants had made.
War had been the force of the land for quite some time, and out in the fields and planes lay thousands upon thousands of decomposing carcasses.

Both Pureblood and Muggle, and even those in between had been caught in the midst of the conflict and the interests of those who carried on the bloodshed. Their weapons were strewn across the bloodied snow, stone graves stood firmly against the shrill of the wind and the banners of the great Russian families and wizards alike stood imposing over all the devastation, all because of the money and power that was at play.

But, alas, with death comes life.

Far away from those blood soaked fields and somber alleyways, deep in the heart of the fortified castle of the Borovsky, Natalya Borovsky née Romanova, wife to the Grand Vasily Borovsky, gave birth to her first child, the very infant who would become Antonín Borovsky.

Natalya was a very small woman, and many of the people within the city knew this birth was a dangerous one. Old crones had been talking for months about how Natalya's hips were too slim to bear a child and how the babe would surely kill Natalya and itself because of that. Natalya was aware of this talk and had worried about the problem and the risks of it all, knowingly she accepted her fate and unease.

She lay awake at night next to her husband in fear of the impending birth and had tried to gain comfort from him on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, he was far too distracted by the constant drama filled circles. He had many enemies, and supposedly there was even a chance that the family itself would come to pay the price for the families involvement in several schemes.

And so, while the Grandiose noble pondered over maps and businesses in his study, Natalya gave birth to his son. She shrieked long into the night from the sheer pain of bringing the young Anton into the world and kept almost every resident of the palace awake, but thankfully, was able to do so without losing her own life.

Antonín was healthy and well cared for. His mother loved him more than anything else she had ever come across and vowed on the day of his birth to protect him from everything that she could.

Vasily Borovsky being a very excitable man and passionate lover, the young noblewoman and mother, found herself pregnant once again three years later. She would survive this one too, despite common talk, giving birth to the young and precious Alina. The two siblings became very close and their childhood days were spent with one another without a clue in the world of the harsh realities that was awaiting them.

Antonín Borovsky from a young age was brought up and taught his place in society, commencing his education at the fragile age of five along. His father had not wavered in continuing his family tradition and the necessity of preparing his heir for the future that was expected from him; whether he wanted it or not.

His education and studies varied from Culture, Russian Catholicism, Tradition, Literature, Geography, as well as Language Arts in order to prepare the young Pureblood for the actual schooling that he would receive. His family and line had dominated the Russian Magical Community with expertise of the Dark Arts and Necromancy, and as such the invisible weights had been placed upon the boy's shoulders since birth. He had to be strong or be prepared to meet his fate, as only the strong survived.

Throughout the number of years that he would spend in Russia, he came to know and learn of many things but none of that knowledge that he had amassed had prepared him nor his family for the happenings that would shape their future.

The Second World War had began and the death of his Uncle Maxim Borovsky had caused a widespread panic within the Family, being under the firm leadership of the Matriarch of the family, Reina. A majority of the Main Borovsky family branch was forced to relocate within a country that was far from their home, and nothing like they were accustomed to.

They were quick to settle but delayed in adjusting to the way that the world had simply collapsed around them, being uprooted from one place and having to settle in a foreign land, on foreign soil. The families elitist tendencies that was firmly instilled through the very core of his being began to take shape.

His life carried on slowly but surely, the new lifestyle and new environment had changed and molded the way he viewed the world around him, but nonetheless he carried on with the support and the teachings of both his parents until the day that brought forth a summoning; He was to continue his studies at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

House Request:
Slytherin
Personality:
On the surface, Antonin exudes a sense of arrogance, which is accompanied by the noble traits of honor and dignity, and tries to maintain those views when dealing with others. However, after years of witnessing violence, Anton has seen his fair share of ugliness in the world. As a youth he had expected humans to act with a certain level of grace and nobility, but the harsh realities of his world have shifted this expectation.

He now recognizes that humans are selfish and repugnant beasts who are capable of some of the most depraved behavior imaginable. He still holds on to his values and tries to rule with them in mind, but beneath this it is easy to tell of his Choleric and yet cold view on life. He treats other Nobles and Purebloods with respect, but will not hesitate to be cruel to those below his station and the poor although, he does have a heart and means well at times. Sometimes.

He enjoys to socialise among those worthy of his words, although he can be quite persuasive and well-mannered, making him a possibly popular and well-liked figure among the social circles if he wished to indulges in such affairs.

Anton practices the Catholicism faith of his homeland, but sees the entire idea of religion mainly as a means of giving hope to the hopeless. He believes, but after seeing the devastation of war, is no longer able to completely immerse himself in the faith. He recognizes the utility of religion in the world, even if it is not particularly useful in his own life.

Appearance:

Though well known for his family name, those who have never met Antonin before may find him intimidating upon first being introduced; his amiable nature does not negate, to any degree, an apparent and inherent strength and calculated power.

Anton carries himself with an unshakable confidence that gives the impression of complete self-control and restraint. Each step, each word, each motion seems to be entirely of his own will and without a shred of doubt. His tall and dark features that are quite common among those of his lineage, They are witness to the attractive features that the Borovsky line possess.

His observant and silent mannerism gives him the benefit of being seen as mysterious or sly, and his choice of extravagant and lavish clothing gives the air around him the essence of a powerful feature - Attraction.

Option 2

The male had decided to use his free time to study for the upcoming classes of the day, and although he had plenty of places to choose among; His heart was set on finding a desolate and quiet area within the Gardens. He had everything he needed to expand his lacking knowledge of the subjects that troubled the youth was having difficulties understanding.

His resourcefulness, however, was abruptly interrupted as the sounds of incessant and unrelenting sneezing were carried to the ears of the young Wizard. Antonin's brown yet cold gaze shifted towards the cause of the noise, which had ceased and halted his attention to the work before him, with a irritated glare and glimmer of hope for the obnoxious wheezing to completely stop, he waited.

When the male failed to pause his actions and carried on with what appeared to be thorough and an in depth search for something, Anton had no choice but to make the boy aware of his presence and his positioning, both physically and mentally. He coughed loudly to indicate that he was within hearing range which was met with a startled and quick glance towards him as he had been caught, both defiling a area of rest, as well as wiping his dirty nose on what-was supposed to be pristine clothing and uniform.

“Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare.”  The strange boy replied.

Anton's reply was quick and precise as he glared and sternly watched the male before him, ''Yes, you can do me a favor, and Scram. I'm busy and I won't have a twit like you interrupting me with such petty and inadequate behavior.'' He stated as he carried on observing, awaiting to see the outcome of said request - more like order.
