Biography: (300 words minimum.)
The story of Audrey Autumns started in Paris, France. Born of Amelia Autumns, a pureblood witch, and a muggle by the name of Jace. Audrey was born six minutes before her twin brother, Franklin, and intended on holding that over his head until the day they died. She already had an older sister, Vienna, who was six years her elder, and a big brother, Zacharias, who was nine years older than her. From the day she was born, Audrey had a clear view of life- she entered this world with a scream and she'd make bloody sure she died the same way- screaming in excitement and fear and everything in between. Audrey Autumns would live life loudly.

Audrey's house wasn't that big, growing up she had to she had to share a room with Vienna and it seemed to take years to get into the bathroom, but the lawn was plenty huge and had lots of room to run, which she, Franklin, and Squid (that was the name of her childhood dog, who died in her third year) took advantage of nearly every day. Her father was distant at times, being wrapped up in his work (he owned a muggle bookstore) and her mother was a homemaker, though she was more on the strict side, much to Audrey's chagrin.

Audrey started school at Beauxbatons at the age of eleven. Now, Audrey didn't like school much and school didn’t like her, she got in trouble for breaking rules a lot. In Audrey's eyes, it was just boring and uninteresting, another daily chore. And was it really that bad for her to shake things up a bit? Did the other stuffy people around her mind that so much? The only thing she really liked was Quidditch- in her third year, she became captain of her team. In third year something bad happened. Her father abandoned them without a trace.

At age fourteen, her mother moved her family, relocating to London. She served out the rest of her prison sentence- I mean, she finished the rest of her schooling, in Hogwarts as a Gryffindor. Audrey liked Hogwarts more than Beauxbatons, but she never managed to snag a spot on the team- all she could think about was her father leaving them.

When she graduated, she moved to Ireland, getting a job as a baker. Things finally seemed to be looking up for Audrey- then, another bad thing happened, for fate seemed insistent on dealing her the worst possible cards ever. A group of young protesters, including Zacharias and Franklin, walked down the street of Diagon Alley without wearing their Blood Purity patches on their robes. They were both killed afterwards, leaving the rest of their family shell shocked.

Her mother, making sure no one thought her last two children- Audrey and Vienna- weren't planning on rebelling, she insisted they come and live in Hogsmeade Village, where Audrey still lived with her dog, Sugar, and her toad, Smiley. Her family lived by- her mother, Vienna, and her and two children, Luka and Adira.

Because so many things are going on right now, her mother is constantly pressing her two children to move in with her, especially her younger and more unpredictable one, but Audrey is holding her ground.

Roleplay:
You come across one of these posts on the site. Please select one & reply as your character:

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response: (option one)
Audrey Autumns walked briskly through the streets of Diagon Alley, her black flats clicking on the pavement and her blond hair fluttering as she went faster and faster. Audrey was hungry. Ravenous, even, but it was rumored that she thought that every second of the day. She was supposed to be meeting Vienna for lunch, and she would probably be late.

As always.

Audrey laughed lightly, shaking her head and slowing her pace. It was true that she was never on time for anything- that was one of the reasons she didn't do very well in her classes. In fact, by now she should've been running, trying to beat the clock, but she didn't feel like it. It wasn't as if Vienna had something important to tell her. Plus, wasn't she always saying running was unladylike? Surely, she'd frown upon it if Audrey did such a scandalous thing just for her.

Call it a special talent or call it a nuisance, Audrey could manage to twist nearly every person's words around her until they did what she said. What? Life was a boatload more fun when she was in charge.

Audrey straightened her coat, and, felt something in her chest pocket. That was strange. Sure, Audrey was a bit of a hoarder,(but that was good that she would admit it- most wouldn't) but all of the junk she needed and didn't was in her floral printed bag slung across her shoulder. She skidded to a stop and pulled out a piece of parchment. Ah. It was an old note from Luka, thanking her for taking him out for ice cream.

Dang. Kid had better spelling, handwriting, and grammar than she ever had. While she was musing over this, she bumped shoulders with someone, and, without even paying them a look, barked, "Watch where you're going, bub." She didn't stop to listen to their reply- not because she was scared, but because she didn't care.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!”

Audrey stopped once again, chuckling in mild amusement. "That's why-" A sarcastic joke was caught up in her throat, which was strange, because she always had one handy. But, Audrey decided to be nice. She rolled her hazel eyes and said sassily, "You need help?" Not like she had anything important to do.
