Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Born and raised in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, with her older sister- Justine. Justine is around one year older than Adelaide. The pair were homeschooled by their governess- Madame Ricard. The pair learnt to control their magic together, with Adelaide learning theory when she was “too young” to control it. The girls spent their spare time either flying, or spending time with their mother, becoming perfect young socialites, sometimes the pair would have afternoon tea on their balcony.
One day, when the pair were flying, on their brooms, Adelaide was around 6, and her sister would have been 7. The pair were flying quite high, when Adelaide slipped off her broom. Fortunately, her sister managed to grab her hand. But, that left the two girls, Adelaide in tears, dangling in the air. Justine managed to lower them slightly, but struggled to hold her sister up. Adelaide fell.
She woke up in a hospital, and was eventually informed that she had a severe brachial plexus injury (the link is at the bottom, if you want to find out more). She spent her spare time going through physical therapy with her right arm and has come a long way. However, she is permanently affected by this injury. Often, she will lose all feeling in her arm, and her right hand is significantly weaker than her left. She also has a major fear of heights.
After the accident, her sister started to avoid her. They spent very little time together, only afternoon tea on a Friday, would put the two girls in the same place.
Whilst she was trapped indoors, after the accident, Adelaide gained a newfound love for music, and less interest in sports. She’d spend a lot of her time in her room, listening to it- whilst her sister played sports outside.

It took 6 years for the girls to become friends again, but eventually, they did. And they got to know each other again, understanding each other. Homeschooling continued, but Adelaide now had her friend again.

From the age of thirteen, Adelaide began to be pushed into attending more and more social events, and joining social clubs. Although she didn’t really excel at them, unlike her sister, she was more reserved. She spoke when spoked to and spent a lot of her time reading in the large manor garden parties.
Justine was dynamic. That was the only word that could describe her, dynamic. Adelaide was not.
She absolutely hates pitying glances, and heights. If you put her on a tall building, she will break down. However, she loves nature, and music, and drawing. She also enjoys coffee, and learning. Coffee shops are her favourite place to spend time.
When her family moved to London, since their father wanted to move his business to London, and their mother wanted to meet some new pureblood friend, Adelaide was deemed old enough to share her own apartment with Justine. The pair now own an apartment in the south bank, and if they’re required to attend a pureblood event, they go to their parents to find dresses.

Roleplay:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
She had ended up in Godric’s park, she didn’t know how. But somehow, she had. The blonde smiled as she looked around, and recognised children playing. She could handle children, they didn’t send glances her way. Adelaide liked that.
“You!” Yelled a small voice, “... Do you want to play?”
Adelaide turned to see a smaller girl, a much smaller girl. The girl was wielding a broomstick, causing Addy to instinctively shudder, and look up. She spotted kids playing, up in the air. The mere sight of it made her feel faint. So, she turned back to the girl.
“Je ne fais pas de vol.” She said, her green eyes piercing the small girl. “Oh, you must not speak French. I do not do... What’s ze word? Oh, oui, bien súr! Flying, on a thing, with a handle, balai... balai... balai...” She repeated the word, as if it would help her remember it. Why, whenever she wanted to remember a word, it would escape her mind? She regretted not paying attention to her english lessons. As she was thinking this, the word came to her. “ah, a broomstick. But, I will make daisy crowns with you, I can do zat.” Her accent was thick, but she sat herself down in the flower filled grass and picked a daisy, holding it up, as if to bribe the other girl.
“I will ‘ave to go soon, but I can show you ‘ow to make one of these... crowns.” She offered, a soft smile on her face. Yes, she liked children, they were always kind.
