Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Josh was the first born child - and male - to the Collins family, thus making him the heir. He was a rather inventive child from the start, lingering between shyness and extroversion: he would rather stay inside and play, or learn, than go outside and socialize as his parents expected him to, but never failed to do if necessary. It’s a good thing he always had a knack for schooling, given his parents’ expectation that he would one day take leadership of the team and thus manage it as they have always done. He never minded said expectation - management is in his blood, turned into passion as he grew up, and though he could never see himself playing quidditch for life, he certainly could imagine being involved in that world.

But now he was not the only child however, Josh took an immediate liking Jason, though he could be quite arrogant at letting the younger boy know there would be no space for competition. For the most part, however, they were brothers through and through, playing and fighting as you’d expect of any two boys of close age. Jason was the first person he ever allowed to call him something besides Josh, aside from their parents, going so far as not minding nicknames such as ‘Joshie’ or ‘Slick’.

If anything, however, he’s most protective of him. Their younger sibling Abigail, she was the first born female and the first person he ever considered fragile. When he was old enough to understand what hearing loss meant, he took it upon himself to teach his siblings, as they were growing up, how to use British Sign Language (BSL). His vision was clouded for years, thinking her breakable and weak, if only because he considered her condition a vulnerability. Thus, years later at Hogwarts, he remained close enough to make sure nobody threatened or bullied her. Since those years, he’s learned she can fend for herself just fine, but is still mindful of aggressive people (they would be stupid to take one wrong step towards her).

Alysha his other sister is the one sibling he’s grown closer to, more than any of the others. She can be annoying, overly-sweet, a bit too talkative for his liking and even more reckless than him, but these are all endearing things. She’s the sister he goes to when he’s having a particular issues he isn’t comfortable enough with to bring to his parents, and the one who offers the best advice though he pretends not to want to hear them. As of Jason, he knows his young brother wants to be like him one day, which is quite humorous for Josh; even so, he’s taken for teaching him something of their profession, even though he could never accept it, if in the future, Jason competed with him for his position in their family.

Asher he doesn’t understand very well, but as he’s the youngster and the one he has spent less time with, this does not bother him much. He did impress Josh, however, by how quick he grasped the necessary knowledge of BSL.

For the most part, Josh grew up knowing his position in the Wizarding World and what was necessary to achieve his passions. His only disappointment with himself is that he could never quite understand the purism his family so passionately abided by; it seemed like a waste of time, wanting to marry him to a fine pureblood lady, when he had met countless half-bloods and muggleborns who were much more talented at quidditch, as well as in school matters. He kept these thoughts to himself for the most part, focused instead on his family’s teaching.

The boy knew how to have fun in Hogwarts and thus took for quidditch and a few clubs, such as dueling and chess. He was never ever considered into prefect because truth be told, he’d gotten in trouble enough times, but it was never serious or bad enough to warrant him a bad reputation. So long as he kept his grades on top, then he was fine. The only thing he disagrees with is his parents’ choice in wanting to marry him to a girl that bores him out of his mind. He can be very quick at judgement and has already labelled her the least person he would care to spend the next month with, let alone his life.

This comes at an unfortunate time, since he’s taken greater interest finding his own happily ever after. There’s a matter of pressure, knowing he’ll soon graduated from Hogwarts, mixed with fear, that makes him ever so prone to act by recklessness, and it’s what taking him for growing all the more closer to his own idea rather than to appease his parents. He doesn’t know yet what the outcome of their encounters will be, or what his family would say if they knew his thoughts.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
The conversation with his parents especially with his father had gotten a bit heated with regards to him being betrothed to whom they were willing to pick for him. Josh had walked out needing some fresh air his anger was making him feel as if his head was so hot it was ready to pop. He knew he had hurt his parents by speaking the words he should have had more tact and professionalism using, however the water had tipped over and he was not in the mood to be so correct and proper with them.

He walked around meditating in his head, heck he was even looking up at the sky and taking deep breaths. Was it working? He had no idea so when he heard the tiny voice calling him or rather he assume it was him, Josh turned and looked at the child.

Her question threw him right off his mindset to run and hide and take his life in his own hands. Instead he focused on the question and a flashback of one of his siblings hit him hard. Walking closer to the kid he knelt down to her level and even if he had been fuming in anger Josh couldn't for the life of him be cruel to a small child like this one. "I was kind of busy, but I can spare a few minutes what do you have in mind little one?" he asked smiling at the kid.
