Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Maria Harrowine LOubelia Desdemona Esperzerna Stone or Harrowine Stone was the second child of the three children of Maria Marribella Gemma Torres Esperzerna, a haciendera, and Dmitri Nelson Talan Stone, a second lieutenant. Yes... a family with very long names. They have a lineage of spanish coming from their mother (names were very particular to be long in that time) not knowing the lineage they  passed down to them from their father.Harrowine was a, let's say, a very playful child ... (although some of their relatives would really prefer "a-child-sly-as-a-snake"). She would sometimes talk to the wind to relay her message to her "far away never met friend" Alice. Says she saw her at her dream and that one day they would see each other again. Evreytime she had dreamed of that, she would cry her self to sleep. Alice was very sentimental to her... though nobody knows if she truly exists but for Harrowine... she does exists and someday they will meet just like as they promised to each other before waking up.

Harrowine considered herself a black sheep, at her young age of 9 she was very diplomatic and straightforwarded. Nobody in the house coudn't handle her justice systems.  It was never for her age to talk about politics and how the war was ruining their city one by one. With this kind of attitude and the "sly" part too...it was a dangerous combination.

She was very frank at people and sort of insensitive though that did not hinder her elder sister to love her at best. They we're the best of freinds. They know each other... even in the deepest part of their souls. Even from far away they could still see each other and sense each other's presence. That's how close she was with her sister. Though... very much contented being the youngest member of the family she really did have a hard time with her younger brother who was 5 years behind her. She hates him at first... having this sort of "fear of children" but later on realizing she coudn't live without her bro. They must always helped each other an agreement they have signed and duly signed by their parents ( a sort of house constitution, if I may say).

Her brother who was still on the verge of going or not going with her to Salem, was a green thumb of very exotic plants. Plants who moved by their own or should I say think on their own?. Though whatever are those... he was turing 12  and as Harrowine's partner in crime, they do a lot... A LOT... of pranks againts their enemies. Harrowine was discovering more and more what her so called "powers" can take her. But her father, who knew everything may go wrong had filed her a application for to Salem Institute, where she can learn to develop those skills accurately. She wasn't for Salem Institute... she was for Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, as her sister is but her parent's would like her to go, far away, away that no relatives would find her and her "not-so-appropriate-attitude" (As her godmothers would say) .Secretly with her sister's help, she was able to apply to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Harrowine was one wittly sly and would do anything to get what she wanted without hurting others. Her plan must carry out. Since Europe and America have different time inetrvals of night and day... she could get away with it. She knew she will. They we're in the midst of a war back in Philippines, so it was really hard for her to let her parents alone but she knew her dad would do a heck of a job protecting theri mother and so Harrowine didn't take it bad... she made a pact with her sister, that both of them should excel in their feild and that one day it would be an honor for their parents to have send their children to prestigous institutes. And nothing's bad, her brother would follow her afterwards. Untill then she'll do her best.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:
Jim hated Mondays.

He had always hated Mondays, really; that cursed beginning of the week, that day where it still should have been the weekend and yet there was work to be done - deadlines to be made - stupid lunch meetings to attend.  Even when ‘lunch meetings’ had been just plain lunch; ‘work’, homework, he had despised the start of classes and - all at once - the next five un-fun days before the weekend started up again.

Now, cloudy October morning, Jim hated Mondays more than ever.

His desk filled with the wide-open arms of the Sunday Prophet, he scribbled furiously over sections with a bright red ink.

All the new graduates with their impeccable NEWTs and superb teacher recommendations had come in last month, only too eager to start preaching the truth - their truth - to the whole of Wizarding Britain.

Jim’s train of thought was bitter, but he smiled wanly, for he had once been one of those recruits themselves.

Most of their dreams should have been been smashed in the first week, from the first time people like Jim had told them to fetch the group some coffee. Day after day, hour after hour, that was what they now said to their youngest colleagues, as their older counterparts had told him years before: At some point everyone has to fetch us our drinks.

Almost every year, the new recruits sat down and took it - and fetched the group some coffee - and maybe it was just the age or the nostalgia, but Jim was fairly certain that they deserved it all.

They did not deserve to publish half-coherent drafts with way too many adverbs and completely unmodulated opinions.

Jim threw down the quill in disgust, ink splattering onto his button-down shirt as though it were blood.

Smartly, he piled up bits of paper, and then, still angry, face marred by an unhappy Monday, deposited the pile in front of his door before reaching out to grab at the first person he saw.

What happened to this paper?”

Roleplay Response:
Itch. Itch everywhere.

Harrowine hated coffee and sort of has an "allergy " to it. The strong/mild/sweet (whatever the smell was!) was floating all over her and she coudn't help but rolled her eyes and avoid the aroma constantly running through her nosetrils. She was avoiding to smell it actually. Whenever she drink or even smell the scent of coffee she would automatically go high. Like, coffee was sort of a drug, making her hallucinate things, bringing out what was really her thoughts and doing random silly things... like, jumping on a table to the other, screaming randomly at small things, laughing by herself, and other random things -things mostly done by drug addicted persons. Heavens , no! she didn't want to get expelled beacuse of wrong accussation just beacuse of a coffee. She was very frank actually and having one sip of the "dark-devil" (what coffee was for her) would make her wording turn frombad to worst, from frank to merciless.

Harrowine kept on walking, watching cautiously at the cup and saucer she's holding and back to her path. She woudn't mind spilling some of this coffee but giving a half empty cup to one of the senior writers woudn't be such a good impression especially all the rookies have been doing their "best" not to soil their images. She held on to the "dark-devil" guarding it with all her might. Why does the coffee maker in the dining hall was too far away from their office? It was her first time to complain about it... and with that she's sure she's going to be that irritated in the whole day. Irritation caused by smelling the coffee.

She turn in a corner and went in for the door. She pushed the door with her back and held the cup with both hands.

"*Voici votre café, monsieur (Zh)im?" She said in french, slowly pronounciating with the proper diction.

Just then she realized that he was red with anger with blazing, scorching eyes. If you ever had crossed pathed with a person like this you would definitelt retreated and reroute to another path faraway from his position. He looked up at Harrowine still with the same ferocious eyes and spoke.

What happened to this paper?”

You looked at the paper he was referring to. Harrowine wasn't sure if whose paper was it... nor was it hers, but she blinked hard trying to remeber she knew what was in the paper. Just then, that wasn't what caught her attention... it was the spilled blood all over his shirt. Harrowine chuckled almost knocking over the cup of coffee.

"What happened[i/] to you?" Harrowine coudn't help but to smirk.

She faced backward trying to hide her smile then back to her "superior" who was still waiting for an answer. "Ahem..." She coughed erasing her smile "Sorry, I just can't resist..."

Harrowine didn't know what was behind his mind but she knew she had to made an answer to this blood thirst guy.

"That not my paper, monsieur" was all Harrowine could have gathered up. "I don't know what's wrong with it..."

They just kept on staring at each other. Harrowine blinked hard... not knowing what to do next.

"Errr..." Harrowine started again " Here's your coffee sir Jim... You have been working hard, you need a rest not a coffee" she said putting his coffee on his table.

"By the way, aren't you the senior writer? Shoudn't you be the one who knows what happened to the paper?... that's your forte, is it not?" Harrowine smiled "We're just rookies after all... we're here for coffee business... enjoy your coffee... and keep calm, bro"

Hey Harrowine!

Unfortunately, student characters are not allowed jobs at the Daily Prophet at this time. This means you can either choose to apply with a new, adult character, or wait until Harrowine has graduated (about a term and a half from now) and apply with her then.

Let me know which option you like best, and we can move forward in processing your application.

Thanks!
