Biography:
A child born to two recently happily married parents, all seemed well. But it was just young fun keeping his parents together, not love. And they soon realized when they had Matt, the child they both believed would complete their relationship. Unknowing of how difficult it was to raise a child the two parents relationship quickly became unstable, and after matt was just 7 they separated. With a not so pretty split matt began to grow up with little connection  to his father. It wasn’t as bad as what others had gone through, but it was enough to cause Matt to distrust people, even his mother. But she hadn’t done anything wrong, no after hearing he was going to Hogwarts his father attempted to reconnect with his son. His father having become a rather loathsome man made his son want nothing of him, and it was at the young age of 11 when Matt made the decision to abandon any contact with his father after the man had tried to convince matt  that his mom was some crazy witch lady and was trying to plague Matthews mind with bad thoughts. Seeing through it, he fixed his situation by abandoning him. And it in a sense ruined Matts chances at having any sort of trusting relationship, as that wall has been broken by his father. Asides from his parents however his life was normal, he went to school and did well, he made friends and throughout his teens he had those special ladies in his life, his mom had even found a nice job in the ministry and was able to bring home a good amount of money, and with only Matthew she was able to sustain them and even throw in surprises, he wasn't spoiled, but he wasn't starved. However he wanted something special, and this time the good special.

Personality:A nice guy with a flirtatious trait to compliment as well as some confidence in his own body makes him a ladies man in his own right. Loving to be nice to everyone who has done him no harm, makes him an approachable guy after a first greet, an easy person to befriend.  However he has his competitive side, bringing out his prideful nature, his thirst for victory will often make those forget his nice side. The bravery to follow his competitive nature only keeps his fierceness matured. But no amount of competition will get him to break the rules, for those who can't stand in boundaries are the weaK. And his laziness can often bug people, he’s not lazy with school, or with exercising, its more of the small things, like going out to buy something he needs, or making bed, oh how he loathes making his bed. And impatience is what truly makes his life annoying to him, a person who just wants his homework when he walks in the class, wants his food as soon as he enters and so on, always worrying for the worst makes his impatience worse truly, always readying for the worst as the pessimist he is.

It is not uncharastical of Matt to be seen often wandering around in the midst of the night, sleeping only about 4-6 hours a night, closer to four, many question how he functions every day including himself. But he does, and it has become quite hard for him to fall esleep before the clocks turn back to the next day. Maybe it was simply part of him always wanting to simply get things done, something sleep prevented. A debater at heart, Matt loves to stick up for his beliefs arguing them away with someone, its what life is all about, ideas. Too Matt debating is the most probable way for humans to continue advancing, no one opinion can do it all afterall.

Matt was rather secluded in the relationship side of life, with no father to really grasp on to, and a busy mother he found himself without a strong relationship in his life. And it simply grew, forming him into someone who had a hard time growing attached, and a hard time ever trying to build relationships past being acquaintances.


Appearance:Average height for a boy of his age Matt stands at 5'7 (170cm) and a slender fit build at 130lbs (59kg). Just by looking you can see he takes great care of his looks, never being seen outside of his room without "freshening" up. With soft and amooth looking skin, short brown hair and piercing blue eyes, he has a slightly more slender face. With a fairly defined jaw line.

But one thing so confusing about his appearance, why waste all the time keeping his hair nice, his skin soft and smooth if he just walks around in sweatpants all day. It was a question everyone asks him, why he doesnt compliment his appearance by dressing nice. Its just another part of his lazy personality, and the comfortability of some sweatpants and a nice long sleeved shirt is just....priceless. So too him its not about the looks there, just the comfortability. Most favorable colors being white/grey/black pants with their respective matching shirts. But hes never afraid to throw in some blue either.

It wasn’t exactly uncommon for Matt to be wandering around hogwarts while most were in the common rooms, without fear of ever being in trouble for staying out too late as it had never been much of an issue before. Matt was never good at falling asleep, simply laying in a bed didn’t help him and would only keep him up well into the next morning. Being active and walking around however depleted his energy quicker and it was more interesting as well. He had wondered into one of the many dungeon corridors throughout hogwarts that were usually empty throughout the night, most of the younger kids being too scared and the older ones not doing anything.

Matt didn’t exactly have a destination in mind, just mindless wandering until he would feel somewhat tired and ready to turn in, however Matt saw a figure as he was nearing a different part of the corridors, a main one as he had made his way back to after walking for a long time. The figure held no information as to who it was or what they doing as it was too dark really too see clearly and Matt wasn’t going to risk creating a light source to find out without figuring out something more first. Walking his way over to the figure that seemed to be slowly creeping Matt found an answer to his questions without needing to do much work on his own.

It was a young girls voice that called out to the ghost emma birch, clearly shaken in fear as the stories this girl must have been told frightened her. Matt didn’t agree with pressuring kids into things they feared, adding fuel to the fire and then convincing them to fight it. Fears were not meant to be beaten in a single day, for now Matt would do what he saw right. Casting a quick spell a ball of light appeared behind the girl, surely she would turn around. “Its not exactly the ghosts you would need to worry about here, its more of the students telling you about the ghosts. You should probably return to your common room and get some sleep. If you need help I can escort you back, it wouldn’t be a big deal.” Matt said to the girl as he moved the light away slightly so it didn’t blind the girl, a smile hoping to comfort her as she seemed scared enough.
