Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Lilith was a very inquisitive child by nature, and was the one who always asked "why?" Why this?  Why that?  She started reading simple words by the age of four, and although she knew how to walk, preferred to stay still. She was a very patient child.  Her parents were Muggle-lovers by nature and successful aurors by trade. She also helped take care of her little cousin in whatever ways she could. She spent a lot of time with her dad, who would often color with her, and taught her how to sound out more complex words and be a normal child.  But that wasnt enough.  Both parents tried to get Lilith to be more active, but they had little luck for a long time. Baseball was the only thing she could play.  They finally almost gave in after an incident that left Lilith with a scar on her right knee, and a broken bike. Her cousin Brittney had been a year old, and Lilith was now four. The crash itself wasn't as bad as the landing. She had managed to tip the bike over, and had landed on a razor sharp shard of glass. Damn it hurt like heck.  The bike was fine until it was run over by the neighbor. Why did she do that?  It broke her poor little heart.  It wasn't until a close family friend suggested swimming that they regained hope for sports. Lilith instantly loved the water, and was swimming well in what seemed like no time. She loved aquafit and the idea of exercise in the water.  Like wow!  Even young Brittney enjoyed playing in her floaties with her mom.  At the age of six, Lilith met some of the other children on the block. She had seen them before, but it was at a summer block party that she really met everyone. She had sat in the corner for a majority of the party, reading her book and drinking lemonade, until another young girl had walked up. She was a wallflower like her.  She had introduced herself as Katie, and started talking. At first Lilith was nervous. And then they became fast friends.  It was her first time meeting someone her age, and she wasn't very good at introductions. Finally the girl had paused to ask Lilith a little about herself. After Lilith finished, the two talked about what they liked to do, and simple things that children usually talk about.  And then Lilith found out that she was a witch.

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
The park.  It was a nice day for a walk.  But Lilith just came to go on the swings to clear her mind.

To Lilith Quidditch was a bloodbath.  Nothing but a joke.  Why were people into such sports?

Today Lilith was wearing a simple dress with flowers on it.  She wished she could play but she had homework to do.  But she could play for a bit...

Roleplay Response:
How Emma loved going to the park.

Why did the weather have to be so bleak?  And then she saw the brooms.  Why did they have to do this in pain sight of Muggles?

Then there was a tinier broomstick.  With no one on it?  How awkward!

What was going on?  She ran and tried to stop the broom.

The little girl was clearly in a hurry.  But for what?

And then she was safe.  PHEW.  Emma thought she would walk away.  Then she looked at her watch.  BLIMEY.  It's past curfew.

He was mean alright.  And then she watched from a distance while the little girl asked him to play.  WOW.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Name- Emma Jones

Gender- Female

Age- 11

Bloodline- Halfblood

Parents/Guardians (Are they currently played characters?)- Adalia and Ethan could both see already that Emma was going to be a very hyperactive child. From a very young age, she was already practically bouncing off the walls. Emma absolutely loved anything that she could chew on, and was very big on the idea of drooling. Even though she was a handful to keep track of, Ethan and Adalia were both just glad they could share the joy of raising a child together. Nothing could compare to the joy they felt when they looked at her tender face. They thought she was the cutest baby in history!

When Emma grew a little bit older, strange things started happening. For example, when she was very young, Emma got enraged at the fact that her mother was not letting her do whatever she wanted, so the rug folded up suddenly, causing her mother to trip. Adalia and Ethan already knew what this meant; she was becoming magical. They were excited for this, but, it was expected. Emma was a very upbeat child with many, many things to talk about. She was very bubbly and random. Growing up, Emma was a bit spoiled, as she was an only child. She always had the finest of things, and this trained her to accept no less. Ethan and Adalia realized that they had to begin to be more strict on their child if they did not want her growing into someone that that knew she would not be otherwise. They cut off privileges when she acted up, and this made sure that she was not too little miss prissy. Emma grew into a warm, caring, loving child. She was exactly like Adalia and Ethan had intended her to be. She was also very sweet and helpful. This phase only lasted for about a year, though. She came back with a personality stronger than ever. She was bold, brave, and bright. Often times, she would refuse things, and most of the time she would get punished and up doing them anyway. She was growing into a very brave little girl.

Emma would often find herself getting into trouble or creating a ruckus, whether it be playing a prank on one of her parents or just simply disobeying. They could never get her to cooperate, at least not that easy. She would cooperate at times, but often, it was not of her own free will. She was a rebellious child, for the most part. There would be times where she would become more calm and collected if there was something in it for her, as she could be a little bit selfish as a child.

Residence- Maine

Do you plan to have a connection to a particular existing place (for example: the daycare)?- Hogsmeade.

Do you wish to be approved as a group with any other characters? If so who and for what IC reason?- n/a.

Biography: (100 words minimum.)- As stated, her eyes are a very bright blue, if not almost gray. She has thick, blonde hair which is silky soft. Her hair is extremely wavy. Some would even say it is curly. She loves her hair and continuously plays with it. She loves to put on makeup, not because she does not like the way she looks, but because she thinks it is fun to experiment with it.

Emma has a slender build, although she has a healthy amount of curves for her age. Her bust is a bit larger than average, but not so much that it draws attention. Her jawline is noticeably out there. She has clear skin with little blemishes, even though she is definitely not perfect. Her cheeks are only the slightest bit chubby, making the rest of her facial features look smaller. She is very pale despite her attempts to be tan. Her lips are especially thick, although she would like them to be a bit thinner. Her teeth are big, white, and straight. She has very good dental hygiene. She has got a heart shaped face with a long, skinny nose. She has a long neck and very defined collar bones, which she is proud of. She has little, pointy ears although they are typically hidden by her hair.

Her legs are slightly longer than her torso, although she believes this is an advantage. The bottom portion of her legs is a little bit longer than the top part, making her thighs the tiniest bit thicker. Her arms are a little bit short, much to her dismay. She has small, dainty hands with longish fingers. She likes to keep her nails long and in good shape, or it drives her crazy having to look at them. Because she keeps her body in good shape, her stomach is remarkably flat. Emma is proud of the condition that she keeps her body in.

Roleplay Response- She loved Godric park.  She looked up at the sky and said to herself, "Wow this is gonna be a beautiful day."  She then looked up and saw the quidditch players doing what they did best- playing quidditch.

Then she saw the broomstick.

She watched it drag along with the little steam engine.  Then she saw the little girl.  Why would she do this?

She was trying to catch up to her brother.  She ran up to them.  She said, "Do you guys need help?"

The girl stood up and nodded.  "Is ithat a toy broom?  You should think of getting a new one, Jane."

She just wanted to play... Why was her brother so selfish?

Application for Hogwarts School

→ CHARACTER INFORMATION.

Name:  Emma Swan-Jones

Birthday:  August 15 1939

Hometown: Cokeworth

Bloodline:  Half-blood

Magical Strength (pick one):  Charms

Magical Weakness (pick one):  Transfiguration

Year (pick two): One or two

Biography:  Growing up in the foster care system, Emma moves from family to family.  At one point, she is adopted and lives with a family, but is returned to the foster system at age three when that family has a biological child.

Emma and some children from her group home visit a movie theater in Minnesota to watch the Disney film, The Sword in the Stone.  In the theater, Emma steals an Apollo candy bar from another person, and as she takes a seat, an usher tells her to not do "it". She begins apologizing for stealing, but he is actually referring to something else, and cautions her against doing things for the right reasons because bad things will happen. He tells her she will have the chance to pull the sword out of the stone one day, but that she must never do it. After giving her the message, he disappears.

Sometime after running away from her group home, Emma begins living on the streets. One night, she rips out pages from a fairy tale book and burns them in a trash can, in an effort to keep warm. As she moves to throw in a page from The Ugly Ducking story, a boy, actually the older Pinocchio, stops her from destroying it. He offers her insight about all fairy tales being about transformation, such as the duckling turning into a swan, but Emma believes the duckling was always a swan without knowing it. The boy explains his view of the duckling having turned into a swan with the power of belief, and that if someone believes in something hard enough, they can change their fate. He uses this to persuade Emma that being on the streets is not the fate she wants that despite running away from her previous home, it doesn't mean she won't find a good one someday. Encouraged by these words, Emma goes to the police for help, and when asked for her last name, she adopts the surname "Swan", to pay homage to the advice she got about the ugly duckling and the power to change by believing in oneself.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Note: This section is optional, and is up to you to complete.

House Request:  Slytherin or Hufflepuff.

Personality:  Emma is a deeply damaged and a very conflicted woman. She is a survivor, and used to being a loner, and therefore a sucker for the underdog. Against her better judgement, she will compromise herself to fight for what is right and to help those in need. She is strong and aggressive, but her brokenness and her emotions are not buried far beneath her tough exterior. Her first reaction to most things is anger, but she has spent her life trying to manage her temper. She is both rash and calculated, and is forced to deal with her instincts to protect her child, a child she believes she is not capable of mothering. In the simplest form, Emma is a list of contrasting qualities; She is hard and soft; she is intense and easy going; she is strong and vulnerable; she is safe and dangerous; she is logical and impulsive. Emma used to be mistrustful, due to the fact that Lily, her first and only best friend lied to Emma about her being in a group home, she does not like being lied to, when she found out from her parents, that she was born with the potential for darkness, and they put her darkness in Maleficent's daughter, she was hurt by what her parents had done, but most of all she was angry, when Snow White and Prince Charming refuse to take responsibility for their actions, instead they tried to justify their actions, this enraged her, as Emma became cold towards them, despite her cold demeanor she is a forgiving person.

Appearance:  Emma is slender, fair-skinned, has wavy, blonde hair, hazel eyes and a flower tattoo on her wrist.

→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.
Please reply to one of the Sample Roleplays below.  Emma was shocked at the look of the dungeons.  She had never seen the dungeons before, except for Potions class.  It was creepy but she had to get used to it.  She did not want to be kicked out of her house but she remained calm.  She approached the main corridor and the air was so damp that she could hardly stand it.  She tiptoed so quietly so nobody could hear her.  She knew she was not alone.  She could not believe that she was stood up!  She was only eleven.  If she used that big brain of hers, she would not be there right now.  The dungeons was the home where a student died 25 years ago.  All of a sudden, Emma heard a thump.  She thought it was her heart racing.  Hello.  Anyone out there. whispered Emma.  She did it again, thinking of her chivalry.  Her echo made her shriek loudly as she found out that it was actually her heartbeat.
