Biography:
Jeremy was born rich with a wealthy household. His father, an engineer for the British military during the war, inherited the wealth from Jeremy's grandfather after he died. Even though is father was a wizard, he deiced not to go and take on a job in the wizardring world, seeing that his passion was for muggle engineering. His mother, a witch working for the Ministry has been loving Jeremy ever since he was born. Even though she had very little time for him because of the pressure in the Ministry, she still had time to take care of Jeremy. At the age of 8, Jeremy got his pet cat, Snow. Snow, named after his signature and bright white fur, has been a vital part of Jeremy's life. Through the years of him growing up, Jeremy had to learn how to take care of himself. He learned how to cook, wash the dishes, and do many muggle household chores all by himself. Even though Jeremy was born into a wealthy household, he wanted some challenges in his life. That is the reason why he went to a muggle school for a few years, to get his basic education. Midway through his basic education, Jeremy's brother, Louis, was born. Jeremy always cared for Louis, even when he didn't need to. Midway through the war, Louis passed away from a rare skin disease. That scarred Jeremy for his entire life, and the moment still haunts him until today. When he got his Hogwarts letter, Jeremy was very excited. The muggle school and life have bored him already, and he was seeking new challenges in his life, to spice them up. His mother and father fully supported him on the decision of going to Hogwarts. When Jeremy found out that he could bring one pet to the school, he instantly called Snow and started hugging him ferociously. Snow made Jeremy forget about his brother, and sometimes even his entire family. Jeremy usually reads books in his free time, and mostly spends time outside. He wants to become an engineer in the future just like his father, but he is also considering a job in the wizardry world like his mother.

Personality: Jeremy is your typical guy. He reads books for enjoyment, listens to classical music and sometimes even helps his mother in the household chores. Once in a while, his father brings him a piece from his job. Sometimes a gear wheel and sometimes a screw that was used in a tank. Jeremy uses these parts to create a huge collection of engineering parts. Although his lovable and joyful characteristics, Jeremy is a big show-off. He wants to be the best at everything and have everything.

Appearance: Jeremy always thought about suits. He always saw his father leave for meetings in blue and black suits, and always wanted to wear those. That's why his father went to a special tailor and made suits just for Jeremy. Jeremy always walked with grey, blue and black suits always with some man heel shoes. He has his signature blue tie that he uses most of the time, but if not the blue signature one, then any tie will do.

Jeremy looked as the girl was running towards him. He chuckled as he saw her running. He stopped as she ran towards him and asked him the question. That's a weird question. He thought. "Well, I don't really like frog legs." He said with a heavy Scottish accent. "As you can tell, I am not a big fan of the french." He said with a disgusted look. "Tell me, what paper are you writing this for? The school paper? Well, isn't that something. Never read that, to be honest. Think it's all a pile of rubbish. Well, good day to you, Miss." He said as he touched his hat and started to walk away.

Your application  is looking off to a good start, but before we can accept you, there are just a few things I need you to address.

Firstly, this site takes place in the 1940, so Jeremy would not have been able to be born in 1999. In that connection, you might wish to read up on a recent event which affected the wizarding community - The Time Warp, an event where the entire magical community slid from 1974 to 1937 and left all the muggles behind. That means if any of Jeremy's family were muggles, he would have lost them in the Time Warp.

Furthermore, in your roleplay response you have Jeremy walk away. In that way it'd be very hard for Astrid to reply to you, if this had been a thread on the board. Maybe you could have Jeremy start to walk off, or maybe even wait for a reaction or reply from Astrid. After all, she might not be satisfied with his answer and ask him more questions!

Thank you for clearing that up, Jeremy! About his birth year, being born in 1925 would make him about to enter his 6th year as we are currently starting the 1941-42 term. Is that what you are aiming for?

If you wish for him to have 4th year as his first choice, though, simply change his birth year to 1927 and we'll get you accepted straight away!
