Biography: Valentina’s entire existence was the result of her father’s infidelity while on a business trip to Spain. Her existence, which she had no control over, was seen as a black mark in the history of the Pureblooded Whitewoods since she was a Halfblood.
Her father tried to be kind to her, to make up for his indiscretion and the fact that Valentina’s mother had abandoned her on his doorstep just days after birth. He couldn’t be too kind, however, since he also had to make up for having an illegitimate child to his wife, Valentina’s stepmother. The only mother that Valentina had ever known and the woman was cold and cruel. Valentina was positive she would have suffered neglect from the woman if her father weren’t around.
She did have to thank her stepmother for one thing, however. Valentina might never have discovered her love of books if she hadn’t been hiding from the woman’s wrath as a young child and took sanctuary in the family’s library. From that point on she was careful to not be found in there too regularly because it became the place she would hide when she needed.
One of her favourites had been the story of Cinderella
and how she was rescued from her evil stepmother and stepsisters by a handsome Prince. Valentina knew it was a fairy tale and didn’t really believe in any kinds of those stories coming true but it was a nice way to escape when she needed.
Except for her, it was escaping an older stepbrother
, who was as equally cruel as his mother. Valentina could only be grateful that there weren’t two of him like in Cinderella’s tale.

Personality:Introverted and timid, Valentina keeps to herself a lot of the time. She’s an artist and sketching is one of her favourite pastimes; she particularly likes capturing candid moments of her peers, however she doesn’t usually join in whatever they might be doing. She likes being outside the crowd while still feeling like she isn’t completely missing out. Valentina cares very much for others but it’s hard for her to actually form deep connections because she is very afraid of being hurt more than she already has. She’s been raised in a way that makes her the kind of girl who will talk about something she’s passionate about and then realizes how much she’s actually saying and apologize for speaking at all.→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.Option 2:She hadn’t meant to begin sketching what was clearly not a very pleasant moment for the boy across the gardens. Her intent today had been to capture a still life of one of the large potted plants in front of the bench she always liked to sit at in the gardens. It really couldn’t be helped that such an interesting life moment occurred right before her very eyes.
She could call the drawing
A Rat’s Tale, she mused as her fingers gripped the piece of charcoal tightly and feathered out over the thick paper, creating the boy’s hair.
Without thinking, her head shook back and forth gently. No, that wasn’t good at all, despite the little play on words.
"Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."Her fingers suddenly contracting nearly broke the piece of charcoal into two and as she looked up from her work to gaze across the flowers and plants between them, Valentina could already feel the heat rushing up the back of her neck and quickly covering her face in crimson, all the way to her ears.
“O-oh, n-no, I’m very sorry. I wasn’t trying to stare, I promise.” She attempted to offer a kind smile, though she could feel her lips quaking a bit in the process. “Do you need any help?”
Caught in the Act, she could call it. If she could later recall the look on his face when he first spotted her it would be a great title. She wasn’t often caught by the subjects of her sketches. No one had ever told her they’d saw her drawing them, anyway. It would be a brand new piece in more ways than one.
