Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Artemis was born in Athens, from a Greek pureblood witch and a British wizard from the Watson family. There she lived in a big manor in the rich part of the town, the country was not living through it's best moment so when Artemis was five they moved to London, her father's hometown. The country was very different from the one she had lived until that moment so it took her a while to adapt to that new world in which people talked that strange language her father used to speak with, she kept herself separated from the rest, it was usual to see the young girl staring at the window with her gaze lost at some point of the sky. Her parents tried to make her make some friends but she refused, she refused to speak in English too, and it wasn't until she turned nine that she first said a word in that language. She was eccentric, her mind seemed to work in a unconventional way she didn't understand, she was competitive,  obsessive,  and a bit elitist... and in addition physical contact with people made her nervous.

She never cared much about what her family thought of her weird behaviour, she was considered the black sheep of the Watson family, the only thing she had in common with them was the slim body and sarcastic personality, curiously instead of having the trademark dark brown hair she was a redhead. Artemis was strange, she used to adopt injured animals on her home, she was the only child of her parents and she was very spoiled so they never tried to stop her from doing that, they thought it was a stupid thing for a pureblood to do though. When she was nine her mother started suffering from a strange mental problem that neither doctors or magical psyches could identify, first it only affected her mind making the woman live through plenty of depressions and other mental problems, the bright witch she used to be disappeared leaving behind a mad woman. That's when her interest towards the human mind began.

Artemis stopped staring at the window for hours and began reading as much books about the subject as she could find, she even created her own private game, staring at people and trying to picture what was going on their minds, making whole stories about their pasts and futures, she never stopped 'playing' that game.

When her Hogwarts letter arrived she refused to go at first, not wanting to leave her mother alone but she told her that if she studied she would be able to help her more. Artemis was sorted into Ravenclaw, it was not a surprise for anyone, since generations ago the Watson's had been sorted in either Ravenclaw or Slytherin. During her years at Hogwarts her quiet nature disappeared, the girl that once refused to talk became flirty with the opposite gender, she still spent most of her time in the library though, trying in vain to find some information about whatever was going on her mother's mind. On her fifth year her mother was moved to St. Mungo's when all of a sudden her health became awful, no one knew if it was related to her mental problems or not, and just as the quiet girl had started blossoming she closed again from the world.

It got worse when on her sixth year she passed away, Artemis closed her books and stared at the window again for hours whispering things in Greek no one could understand. She blamed herself for not being able to save her mother and she almost dropped her dream of becoming a magical psych, one day she realized she had to do it for her mother even if she couldn't save her. With that new hope her grades that had dropped a bit because of those two awful years turned to be very good on her seventh year.

After graduating the only thing that was on her mind was helping people with their minds, it became almost an obsession, a necessity. Her only goal was helping someone, for her mother.

Roleplay:

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia essNixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
Artemis walked down Diagon Alley with a dreamy expression on her hands as she stared at the sky, she made her way gracefully through the crowd street, trying not to bump into any stranger, physical contact made her nervous... at least while she was not at work. She hated when the alley was so crowded, but probably it was the worst time of the day to walk down it with so many people looking for a place to have lunch in.

She greeted her teeth when a old man who smell awfully bumped her shoulder, trying her best to prevent herself from hexing him with her wand she scoffed... didn't this people know what the personal space was? Surely that man didn't.  She was glaring at the man when she almost tripped with a shoe lying in the middle of the street.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!”

With a puzzled expression on her face she grabbed the object, another person bumping into her making her almost fell in the process. Soon she spotted a woman on the ground. "I guess this is yours." She said matter of factly as she showed her the shoe.
With a small sigh she extended her hand, she didn't want to help her up but not helping her would be... well rude. "Need some help?" She examined with a curious expression the notepad on her hands. "What are you writing?"
