Biography:
Born into fortune and luxury on a cold November night, Ursula had no decided name until the time of her birth. Her parents, desperate to name the child something, looked around their environment until they saw the night sky. Ursa Major and Ursa Minor were present on this wonderful night and due to her mother’s fondness for sparkling things, her parents decided to name her Ursula. As with many parents, the two wished that her beauty and heart were more radiant than the stars above in the night sky. Hoping that her potential, dreams, and fame were higher than the stars, they placed their hopes into her.

From then on, Ursula grew up to be loved by all family members for her devoted, kind, and respectable nature. However, when the girl was not given what she wanted, Ursula would often throw a temper tantrum and throw violent fits of rage. During those fits, the Cherrywell would crush, wreck, tear down objects and lash out at people, primarily her house-elf Crumble. There was almost no success in trying to appease her rage and anger.  Trying to cleanse this frightful habit out of her, the Nonpareil clan administered many Calming Droughts to the girl.  Unfortunately, the droughts were a temporary remedy for her moments of extreme rage and was not a cure for her personality.

Miss Ursula often tried to dress herself in a very boyish style and had a passion for Quidditch and horseback riding. She often confided in her grandmother, telling the old woman that she wanted to be a female Quidditch player. Yet her grandmother, and the family, looked down on these unladylike habits, and soon decided that etiquette classes were in order.  After being lectured to over and over on this, she began striving to become a proper lady in the eyes of the family. Having learned french in her youth, she was able to attend Beauxbatons Academy, which her family hoped would encourage her desires to become a lady. And so she attended Beauxbatons for the first two/three years of her education.

During her years at Beauxbatons, she hung out with a group of older girls who were elegant but known for their questionable activity. Believing that these girls were paragons of how a lady should be, she quickly and obediently followed their every example. When it came to dress, to boys, to schoolwork, and to life in general, Miss Cherrywell was their ultimate disciple. Making a bad name for herself, she grew to be unpopular with the students and teachers alike. Eventually, in October, 1973, she was expelled for destruction of public property, private property, school property, and threatening behavior, and her family took her home.

House Request: Gryffindor.

Gryffindor: Miss Ursula is not afraid to get in a fight, whether it may be physical or verbal (usually the latter).  Although Ursula is usually not the aggressor, she strives to defend honor. Whether it be her own or her loved ones’, she will almost never backs down from a fight. Underneath the feminine exterior, there lives a caged lion. She is a big advocate of chivalry and expects it from everyone. Her actions are bold and brave, even though they may not reap her many benefits. Impulsiveness is another of her faults, as she almost gives no thought to anything, even if there is an obvious solution. On numerous occasions, Ursula has demonstrated a lack of tact. All of these things exemplify her Gryffindor traits. Furthermore, her family is known to have mostly Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs.

She has doesn’t have the ambition or cunning to be considered a Slytherin, nor does she have the intelligence, book-smarts, or scholarly behavior for a Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff would be a good alternative House because of her devotion, hard work (even without ambition), and fairness.

Personality: Ursula is actually a pretty typical girl. The redhead is kind, extremely loyal, and very devoted to her loved ones. Even though the methods may be questionable, Miss Ursula loves to help people whenever she can and gives advice whenever she can. She will do whatever she can to solve others‘ problems, even if it may cause damage along the way. Sometimes, her helpfulness comes off as condescending to others.  She shows compassion to mostly everyone and is generally unprejudiced. The girl is never afraid to speak her mind, even if it may be untactful or unhelpful. A social creature by nature, she is very flirtatious towards both genders and does not care about how they may react. She exhibits a very stalwart nature and believes that hard-work can overcome anything. The young lady is a gossip and loves to hear the latest news on the grapevine.

Since a very young age, Ursula was easily provoked and often got in fits of rage easily. These fits caused her to lose sight of all reason, thought, and control. The Cherrywell girl can go into a rampage, wrecking, tearing, crushing any objects in sight and physically lashing out at people. Her rage is unleashed whenever someone dares to threaten her beloved ones, herself, or the things she cares about. Combined with that, she has an incredibly short temper that can be inflamed very easily.  Luckily, the girl can usually tell the difference between a joke and an insult.

Appearance: Like most of the Nonpareil family members, Ursula is a beauty, graced with the family’s trademark  eyes and red hair. As her hair is naturally straight, it is very difficult for her to curl or crimp her locks. She is of medium height. She has retained somewhat of a tan from her childhood, but as she was kept indoors, she has begun to lose that healthy glow.  Her eyes, although startling, give her terrible night and day vision which require her to wear contacts.

→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.
Ursula gave the boy a sympathetic look. It was not easy bearing the guilt of leading a team to a huge loss, and it obviously seemed to be stressing the boy out. James, if that was his name, was a poor, unfortunate soul.

And she was determined to help him. The redhead approached him, head down, and then pulled out a yellow silk handkerchief. Beginning to dab at his eyes, she tried to wipe away all the tears from his eyes.

‘Goodness gracious, he’s like a busted pipe! But then again, I really shouldn't be saying that... After all, he is sad, right?’

She then offered him a gentle smile, a flicker of kindness in her golden eyes. The girl knew what she had to do.

“You know... you could try to practice. And you could try to practice everyday until you’ve improved significantly. And the success will make you very happy. Besides, you look cute when you’re happy.”

The golden-eyed girl stood up on her tip-toes and kissed his cheek. She giggled and walked away, twirling her pink parasol, and took a look at him.

Ursula knew she had done a good deed, because of that wonderful, light feeling one felt in their heart after doing good to someone. Wherever they were, her dead ancestors must have been watching from above smiling upon her magnanimosity.

If only Aries had seen.

Biography:

Her parents, desperate to name the child something, looked around their environment until they saw the night sky. Ursa Major and Ursa Minor were present on this wonderful night and due to her mother’s fondness of astronomy and constellations, her parents decided to name her Ursula.

Miss Ursula often dressed herself in a very boyish style and had a passion for Quidditch, archery, and horseback riding. She often confided in her grandmother, telling the old woman that she wanted to be one of the first female Quidditch players. The lady told her that she could be anything she wanted to be, but informed the family of her dream. As the family looked down on these unusual habits for a typical Nonpareil lady to have, they decided that etiquette classes were in order.

Soon enough, Ursula was brainwashed by the beliefs of the Nonpareil clan for the ideal woman. And from then on, she strived to become a proper lady in the eyes of the family. Well-mannered, obedient, and quiet were things Ursula always wanted to be and wished to be known as. Expressing this desire to Grandmama, who then told her immediate family, she was then sent to Beauxbatons Academy in order to encourage these vain desires. And so she attended Beauxbatons for the first two years of her education.

During her years at Beauxbatons, she hung out with a group of older girls who were elegant but known for their promiscuous activity. Believing that these girls were paragons of how a lady should be, she quickly and obediently followed their every example. ROLEPLAY

It was impossible for Dianne to stay out of trouble. It wasn't that she was looking for trouble, it's just that trouble always managed to find her. Today she wished she could find something equally familiar but more comforting.

The five-year old girl hugged her puffskein closer to her and brushed her face in its soft fur for comfort. She had named him herself and he was always her special pet. No she was certain she had never gone down this side street before. Her anxiety increased every second as darkness fell as she walked down the road. A loud noise came to her left and she buried her face in her pet's fur completely. The scared girl bolted the opposite way slamming the both of them into the wall of the nearest building. Tottering back a few steps she found a door a few feet to her right and ran to open it. What light there was inside spilled out into the darkness and she spilled into the room.

Once in, she was caught between the impulse to curl her cloak up more tightly around her and loosen her grip on it. She wasn't alone anymore but she was now among strangers instead, which was nearly as terrifying. Her puffskein had recovered from the shock of the wall and now was purring contentedly as the girl hugged it, causing a mildly calming effect on the girl. Gathering her courage, she marched up to the nearest person, pulled on the nearest clothing hem and blurted out in a loud voice:

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

She paused to draw a breath in her nearly never-ending sentence, "He misses my and his mommy."

To explain the scared girl held up the custard-colored puffskein. Sambundeakin the puffskein, however simply purred as if nothing on earth was wrong in the world.

Roleplay Response:
”Hmm...?”

Ursula felt a tug on her skirt and immediately jumped. Readying a punch (in case it was a pervert or one of its ilk), her fist stopped and remained motionless. What was she doing? It was only a little girl.

She dropped her fist and looked befuddled at the sight of a child. What would a child be doing in this place? She seemed out of place and was out of place with the aura she emanated. Fear. She breathed it and smelled of fear and it made Ursula want to hug the child.

It was dark. Children always, or most of them, hated the darkness. But she really didn’t understand that. If children had been in their mother’s stomach, wouldn’t they have gotten used to the darkness? It was all very strange to Ursula, but almost everything was to the girl.

Why was she thinking about this? She just had to help the poor child. She couldn’t resist the temptation to help her. It was just second nature for her.

And it was the duty of a Nonpareil lady.

Offering a sympathetic smile, she asked, “Where did you last see your mother? Do you know where she might be?”

Without any hesitation, she gently grabbed the child’s pinky finger and led her off into the light.

Yes, her family would be very proud of her. Especially Aries. Husband.
