His app's already approved, so I think we're set now. :)

Hi Chase,

That is odd. So the text is there and yet when you click on post, it says that there is no body in the post? Let's try this:

Once you've pasted your application, can you type something on the box before hitting the post button?

Thanks.

Well...

I copied the template and pasted it in Microsoft Word; after completing the template straight on word I pasted in this box I'm typing in for example but when I go to post it said there wasn't anything in the body, but there was, and it I tried it a few times, I'm going to work on one straight from the box because it seems like I don't have trouble posting then.

Hi, Chase!

The body of the post is what shows in the actual window.. what I am typing right here for example. It won't let you post without something typed in the window. Is this an issue you are getting after you try to paste your application? If it's still doing it when you have your completed application pasted in the window there's a few things to try.

First, make sure that you are posting your application as a 'new topic' in this: http://hogwarts-school.net/sortinghat/index.php?board=11.0 forum. If you are and it isn't working, try to type 'test' in the window and see if it will let you post that. If not, could you take screenshot of it so we can get a better idea what is happening? If all else fails, you are also welcome to send me your application through a private message.

Thanks.

I'm having a problem with my app. I keep trying to post but it keeps saying there's no body when I try to hit post.

I've added your year choices to your application, Amber. As Timothy mentioned, though, it won't guarantee the requested year, though we will try to look at your choices first if they're available. ;)

I can put a note on your application (which I did), but it still doesn't guarantee anything, especially if you've been sorted.  :)

Ooh boy you can change year preferences? I'd like to do that, if it isn't too late-

First choice: 3rd year
Second choice: 4th year

Hi Maddie,

Sure. You can change your year preference. Let me know what you want and I'll edit it for you.

Hello! I was just wondering if it's possible to change something in my application once it has already been accepted. Specifically the year I put as my preference.
