Biography: (300 words minimum.)
It was the lunch rush at the restaurant. People were crowded in the main dining hall, the din of voices muffled as Edward focused on the face already sitting at the table. A gentle smile was on his face as he looked down at his younger brother. Not at all troubled by the voices in the restaurant, Byron was the sort that did not react to anything that he felt was no consequence. He was always the first to arrive at their lunch. Byron chose the restaurant and made sure that they had gotten their table on time for everyone to arrive. No matter how early Edward thought he was to an appointment, he knew his brother would always be there first. He gave a sigh as he sat down at the table, deciding not to disturb Byron as he took a discarded section of the newspaper. Engrossing himself with the daily news, it was not until a slap of a large hand made him jump in surprise. A jolt hit through his system as he gave an alarmed look at the side the slap had happened on before turning his head at hearing a laughter that could only belong to his other brother, Quincy. Edward frowned giving him a slap with the rolled up section of his paper. Attempting to look cross, he failed at the sight of his brother's smile. Byron finally glanced up, a look of amusement on his face at his older brothers' antics before setting his own paper to the side. The waiter coming in on cue to bring them drinks.

Byron had ordered for them again, but then again it never changed. They always got the same thing, even as they waited for their fourth party member.

"So, let us raise a toast to our newly condemned brother."

He loved his brothers, all of them even for their faults but he only thought one word at Byron’s statement: Cynical.

That was the best way to describe his brother Byron, but Edward would not outright say that to his face. Commenting on such a thing would just cause Byron to smile smugly and start spouting a lot of literature and reasons why he was not cynical, but just reasonable. It did not stop Edward from frowning at him. Byron did not need to be so judgmental of the engagement. His father most likely had put a lot of thought to his brother's betrothal, and he doubted that Quincy was doing this simply because father said so. He had to have agreed on some level to the arrangement.

"Those are rather cruel words, Byron."

Byron just looked at his brother's disapproving frown; no offense was taken as he gave a short laugh. "No need to be polite Ed. She's not in the room with us."  He took a sip of his drink, following with a shrug before giving a glance at Quincy who also followed with a shrug.

He was right but that was not the point. The words made Edward tense his jaw, frown deepening before giving a shake of his head and a sigh, "It is not a matter of being polite. We do know the girl." He knew of Eirwen Medraut. She had been in his house at Hogwarts, and although he had not interacted with her much then, he did know she was a smart and pleasant girl from when he had socialized with her.

Of course this is where Quincy chose to step in. A scoff was in his voice as he set his pint down on the table, "Girl?" He was smiling broadly at Edward. He knew that look, knew that tone. Edward felt himself give a blush even before his brother began on his small teasing. "You sound like a grizzled man when you speak like that Eddy. Besides," He gave a lecherous smile, "She definitely does not look like a girl." Edward gave a simper before closing his eyes a blush growing deeper in shade as he took a deep breath, asking for patience like he always seemed to do with his brothers when they began on this subject.

It was not that he did not notice women, it was just he felt embarrassed speaking about them in such a way. It was a common subject between them since they had reached puberty, but unlike Byron he was not the sort that seemed to have the poise and suave confidence that made it easy for him to speak to women. Then there was Quincy whose confidence, and charisma attracted people, and allowed him to say what always seemed to be the right thing to say (even if it was somewhat idiotic at times).

"Of course, Quincy would be the lucky one to get a beautiful bride." He smiled at them looking back at his brothers. Quincy giving a laugh, and Byron just smirking as he raised his drink to his lips again. It was then that a fourth came to join the table. Blonde haired, and fair skinned Edward was the first to recognize him as he stood up to take his youngest brother's hand and offer a seat for him to sit down in. Arthur was late but that was not unusual. A man of few words, he simply sat down and picked up the menu, which Byron had made him set down by setting his hand on the piece of parchment a wry smile on his face. Edward attempted not to smile, even though Quincy was snickering as they all knew why Byron had done that. Arthur always ordered the same thing, and Byron was attempting to reason out with his brother the futility of looking through the menu.

It was a common argument between them.

The way that they interacted with each other was a testament to how close they were. Although they all had different personalities, and at times his brother’s different temperaments have gotten him in trouble, he knew that family was important.

Roleplay (Special Request Response):
Edward when compared to his brothers was not the most adventurous. He enjoyed learning how things worked, and was quite happy learning from books and imagining himself in different places rather than being there. He was not a coward, he was just reasonable.

Which was why he had applied for an office job, rather than going out on the field. Yet, considering his department he probably should have seen this situation coming. He had been asked to go out before, but it was small things. Teapots spitting out slugs, and floating bicycles. All rather benign things, along with being rather fascinating. Especially when they were items that he had never actually quite seen before. He also had to admit there was something exciting about being out in the field. Being out with muggles, and learning how they live and survive without magic. It was quite different than the books, and much more wonderful when he had a chance to get these muggle items and actually work with them. Of course he liked it better whenever the item did not act like it was purposefully trying to take his head off.

Camped out behind a couch he tried to talk calm breaths as he tried to think about what to do. As soon as he had come into the office, the object (which was a toy aircraft) had flown straight towards his head, and then also shooting something at him. He was not certain what, but being hit once in the cheek had drawn blood, and in his opinion that was not a good thing.

“Okay... Okay...” He was pinned down and it was very likely that someone would come into this office and also get pinned down like him. He had to stay calm. he had to keep his emotions out of it, and be reasonable. “Think. I just need to think. Break it down, and take one item at a time.” The flying was a simple charm, easy to undo, but not what he was concerned about. The problem was getting shot still even if he was able to get it down. Then again, if he put up a strong enough shield charm, and then froze the plane he may be able to disable the firing mechanism manually.

Destroying the toy was not part of his plan. He always avoided it if he could, considering that well his job was to just confiscate, and undo whatever was done, and take care of the aftermath. That and he had never seen an aircraft before, even if it was only a model.

With a plan in mind, he hazarded a look over his shoulder ducking quickly as another round of pellets attempted to embed themselves into his skull.

A spike again in his heart rate as he tried not to panic. Tried to take a few deep breaths and again focus on his plan. He just needed a little courage, and a lot of luck.
