Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Dubhlain was born in Ireland by his magical mother and muggle father. They were shamed for having a child together in their small town by what little wizards and the like there were, and therefore moved to America. Their son went on to Ilvermorny while their daughter, whom they had two years after Dubhlainn, was a muggle like her father.
Dubhlainn later went on to teach at Hogwarts but retired and became a shop owner to study the magical wildlife. His sister gave birth to two lovely children but never got to watch them rise as she was murdered just before her daughter, Caitriona, turned 10. He is the sole caregiver of both children, and hopes to set a good example for them.

Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
Dubhlainn was quietly walking along Diagon Alley, his head lifted upwards above the crowds, searching. The bustle of the surrounding area filled his ears as he looked from shop front to shop front, hoping for a vacant building to begin moving his business to.
But alas, most of the surrounding shops were filled to the brim with owners.

"My heel is broken! Help!" A woman's voice sounded just behind him and it caught his attention. Not only because she sounded frightened, but because he knew how cruel people could be, and they wouldn't stop. He turned around and went through the crowd, against the stream.

"Excuse me, sorry. Excuse me. My apologies." He bumped and pushed past people, not in the least bit bothered by their irritation with him. He taught at Hogwarts for Merlin's sake! He could handle a few grumpy kids.

Catching sight of the woman who had fallen, he began scanning with his eyes for her shoe and sure enough, there it was. The heel was broken off and she was nowhere near retrieving it. He bent down and lifted it, then made his way over to her. With a sultry smile he held it out, "Missing this ma'am?"

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Dubhlainn was born in Ireland by his magical mother and muggle father. They were shamed for having a child together in their small town by what little wizards and the like there were, and therefore moved to America. Their son went on to Ilvermorny while their daughter, whom they had two years after Dubhlainn, was a muggle like her father. His sister, Aileene, wasn't jealous of his abilities at first. In fact, she found it to be exciting and tried to tell all of her American friends about the tricks he could do. But no one believed her. She became a joke in her public school and soon became depressed. Dubhlainn was crushed to learn that his sister, at the age of 13, was  hurting herself and soon took to protecting her and insisting she keep it a secret, but instead she became jealous. The two found it hard to have peace with one another.
Dubhlainn later went on to teach charms at Hogwarts for two terms, having but retired and became a shop owner to study the magical wildlife. His sister gave birth to two lovely children, one of whom it was realized that she too was magical, and Aileene, having realized that she didn't know how to raise a magical child, turned to asking for forgiveness from her brother. However, she never got to watch them rise as she, and her adoring husband, were murdered just before her daughter, Caitriona turned 10. He is the sole caregiver of both children, and hopes to set a good example for them. Lately, Dubhlainn has struggled with keeping both children under wraps, the eldest has just graduated from Hogwarts, and the youngest is just beginning there. He hopes he can get his life together, a single uncle playing mother and father, whilst operating his own flower store where many of the muggle neighbors do not appreciate his people eating and animal harassing plants.
