Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Her parents had always been so in love. That was why they had packed up to move all the way to England from wherever it was that her parents were from. Nefertari never knew where that was, but it never much concerned her. Words were never spoken about her grandparents, and Nefertari knew better than to bring up the subject, though it was only something she had done once.

It was like living in the happily-ever-after at the end of a fairy tale. Her father was Prince Charming and her mother was like Sleeping Beauty. They were beautiful.

They raised her in their joy, and so Nefertari had become the sweet, gentle girl that they wanted...at least when people could see her. She was patient and kind, but she wanted what she wanted and she would get it. She would get it with honey and sugar, but it would be hers.

Clumsy, and a little aloof, Nefertari is calm unless fired. Preferring to live in safety and peace, one would be tempted to think she is docile and easily manipulated. In reality, Nefertari is driven to make things happen. From watching her parents quietly and discreetly handle life’s struggles, Nefertari knew that living in your happily-ever-after took a lot of work. Sweet, kind, and good, Nefertari couldn’t help but believe that good little girls got what they deserved. That was what the stories made her believe, in any case. What Nefertari wanted was the world. She knew she deserved it.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Sucking on a sugar quill, Nefertari sat beneath a tree, enjoying the shade. She didn’t pay much attention to the other kids. The weather was no nice, she was just watching the clouds. Her parents were picnicking nearby, and while they were in view, Nefertari felt fine to leave them to themselves.

She didn’t have too many friends. A couple, but most of her own neighborhood was filled with old grumps or new adults, and very little in-between. There was one girl she sometimes thought might be her friend, but it was a bit...difficult.

So, when another girl came up and asked her to play a game, it only took her a few minutes to hop up and agree to join, despite having no idea what was going on. “Sure!” she said, her voice bright and friendly. “What are we playing?”

The brooms didn’t much mean anything to her.
