Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Curtis is a loner. Simple as. He grew up an only child in a broken home. When he was six or so, he started to develop his magic and could do things like slam his door shut and lock it without touching it when his father was on a drunken rage, or sense when he needed to leave the house. He was estatic when someone showed up to his house on his 11th birthday and told him about Hogwarts. Except, most would be happy because they were going to do magic- Curt was happy because he got to leave home. He stayed through all holidays, not bothering with writing letters home or visiting, aside from in the summer when he didn't have a choice. He sent his mother flowers and a card on her birthday and mother's day, because he wasn't a bad kid. Just grew up in a bad home. He was shorted into Slytherin, which didn't surprise him, as the sorting had said he had a deep desire to make something of himself.
Throughout his years at Hogwarts, Curtis stayed alone, brooding and focusing on his studies to get the best results possible. He succeeded, achieving high results that left him feeling satisfied that he could get a job when he graduated. In the two years since he'd left, he's spent the time re-connecting with his newly divorced mother and picking up the pieces of his life. He's currently living off a basic wage in a muggle corner shop but is aiming to get a job in diagon alley.
He has shoulder length blonde hair and blue/green eyes with pale skin. He's tall, almost at 6 foot and is a solid build- he ran sometimes. He got a nose piercing to make him look more edgy to get people to stop talking to him. Aside his exterior and past, Curtis really is a softie. He just wants to be loved, to love somebody and be happy for once.

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

The busy streets of Diagon Alley were perfect, if you asked Curtis. He loved the hustle and the bustle, the fact that nobody was nobody when someone had a mission to get a gift for their loved one or the latest release of a Quidditch broom. Curtis himself just meandered along slowly, people moved around him rather than into him due to his height and build. His face was pulled into a plain, stoic feature that could potentially intimidate children. His main aim today was to go to the book shop and see if they had that new book he'd ordered in yet. Not that he was going to admit it- a tough guy like him didn't read. Curtis' long hair was tucked back into a hat as he'd learnt long ago that having long hair could cause havoc in the wind and right now, he didn't fancy swallowing any hair.

A movement in the flowing crowd caught his attention. Usually, he wouldn't be distracted as it was just another person who probably dropped their baggage, but he heard this one. She sounded distressed. Changing his direction, the male would cut across the crowds until he got to the female. A little evaluation of the situation later, he'd picked up the heel and held it out to her with a raised eyebrow. He was expecting a thank you, and then he could leave and pretend he didn't have a heart.
