Biography: (300 words minimum.)
The eldest of the wealthy Crimbleton Family, and one of three living family members over seventy, Caesar prides himself in leadership. After realizing the incompetence of his sister Amarantha and her dabbling interests in the arts and culture, he’s decided it would be wisest if he exited retirement for a second time and took over the family’s helm. Caesar gained vast leadership skills during his time at Durmstrang Institute, developing into a proud young man and a successful businessman.

During his younger years, he was a pomp and circumstance sort of fellow: Ceremonial in everything he did. Popular and highly respected during his years at Durmstrang, he went on to study business at Oxford University and took up his father’s Wizengamot seat at the age of twenty. Having served in that position for well-over fifty years while operating a number of successful Wizarding businesses, he retired in his early seventies in order to pursue a more relaxed life. Hoping that his sister Amarantha could handle a Wizengamot seat, he turned over all leadership duties to her.

He is largely non-committal, after several poor marriages he’s certainly looking for love anytime soon. Unlike his romantically-inclined sister, Amarantha, Caesar finds love as fleeting and futile. He believes that a person could learn valuable skills instead of raising children, and as such: He has no children. The man is all business.

Now, returning to the public’s eye Caesar intends to lead his family past the oppression of the Hexenreich and serve proudly as a member of the Wizengamot once more. He wants to build the Crimbletons into what they once were, some fifty years ago: Powerful socialites with a revered name in Scotland, not store owners and peddlers in Diagon Alley.

As the Time Warp progresses into the Fifties, Caesar intends to use the period to his advantage and grow into a mogul for Wizarding Business and solidify the Crimbleton family’s power before his death.

Roleplay:

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
It had been a busy day of work in Diagon Alley, he was to have a meeting with a prominent family head at four bells past noon, and Caesar valued promptness. The elderly man strutted in and out of the various backalleys of Diagon, pushing past crowds of people and grumbling at young children. Mr. Crimbleton simply had no time for the negligence and as he would put it, stupidity of the masses, today.

He hobbled into a side-alley, checking his pocketwatch frequently: The old, golden locket chattering away with every second: He rubbed its fogged up face, grimacing. With all of these people, he would be several minutes late. He straightened his suit jacket, slipping away the pocket watch and trudging on through the crowds.

"By Merlin! Can't you walk any faster!" He shouted at a group of bumbling youngsters before him, they all looked back with terror and scattered out of his way. Where Amarantha was kind and patient, Caesar was cruel and hasty. The worn out alley-way was darker than most, and so he pulled his bowler from his head and squinted inquisitively. He didn't see any thugs, but he did see a flailing girl crash into the pavers.

The crowds pushed around him as he eyed her for a long moment.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!”
She screamed.

He scoffed some, "By Merlin.." He muttered under his breath, clearly used to dramatic children. He strolled over to her, pushing a few shoppers out of the way and looked down, "You'll be crushed by some oafish pedestrian if you don't make quick work and stand up, girl." He huffed.

He offered her an aged, strong hand, regretfully so. "Come on, on your feet. I've not got all day for you, and no whining either. You're going to limp into the nearest pharmacy and see if you can get some bandages." He pulled a little coin from his pocket, "One galleon, that'll do. Come on, now." He gave her an impatient stare.
