If you are applying to be a fourth year or above, your biography must be at least three hundred words long.Olivia had grown up with her mother and grandparents, living in the countryside of Carlisle in their grandparents’ house. It had always been comfortable living but being the only child in a house filled with adults she would get bored or lonely from time to time.
Olivia was able to make friends with the nearby children, the animals that lived on their land, and with her extended family that lived relatively near. From an early age she enjoyed hearing the stories her grandparents would tell, also growing up in the magical world, their stories whether fully true or not were exciting and full of adventures. She would then reenact them with her friends or by herself.
When she started to show signs of magical, her family figured she would, they were excited for her to be accepted to Hogwarts. It was where her father had graduated from. He had then met her mother soon after in London, where they fell in love and married. Sadly, on the farm there was freak accident and he was killed before her third birthday. She was excited to follow in his footsteps. She had learned much from her grandparents about her father and the magical world, but she was excited to become immersed in it. Plus, to meet kids her own age.

She is always running around trying to find a new place to explore, a new adventure to go on, and is almost always finding a new animal to play with. Even though she is relatively outgoing she does not like huge crowds. Oftentimes, she will become quiet and find a more suitable place to be. Most of the time she is optimistic and enjoys hearing stories from other people.
If she is having a bad day, she can lash out verbally and will usually seek out a quiet, secluded space to work through her thoughts.
Appearance:Briefly describe your character's appearance (hair color, build, stature, etc.) What effect does it have on their personality? There is usually dirt under her nails from being outside. Her blonde hair is cut shortish, because she can’t stand it being in her way. With a baby face still, she doesn’t have much body fat and is almost always looking for a snack somewhere. Her constant hunger causes her to get hungry when she hasn’t had a snack.

Option I:
The dungeons. A place eleven-year-old Evangeline had not yet travelled since her arrival at Hogwarts.
A place she really was just fine with not knowing; but it was too late. The dare had been accepted, even if it had been done in fear of being kicked out of Gryffindor, like the older girls had said she would because Gryffindors were supposed to be brave.
The air changed instantly when she hit the main corridor of the dungeons. The dampness was almost too much for her and she instinctively took a deep breath to avoid the sensation of being suffocated. There was also a sour burning smell which Evangeline assumed was from many, many Potions lessons.
Further and further she walked, her steps so slow and gentle they made no noise against the stone walls and floor. The feeling that she wasn't alone crept up her spine and raised the tiny hair on the back of her neck. Shivering, Evangeline wrapped her arms around herself. Suddenly, she missed the warmth and comfort of the Gryffindor common room. The fire was always going and it made her feel at ease.
Why had she let those girls talk her into this? She was only eleven, she didn't have to be brave. Surely the Headmistress would not kick her out of Hogwarts for not being brave.
If only she had these thoughts while being dared to search for the ghost of one Emma Birch, whom supposedly haunted the dungeons. It was not, Evangeline had learned, the place where the sixteen-year-old girl's life had ended but as she had been from the house with a snake as its mascot, it was the place her spirit had returned to. That common room was down here somewhere, she'd been told.
Something - the small blonde girl wasn't quite sure what - but something made her stop in her tracks suddenly. There was a low, dull thumping noise. Or maybe that was her heart beating so loudly she thought it was coming from outside her body.
"H-h-hello?" Her voice was barely above a whisper.
Remembering that she was supposed to be brave, Evangeline tried again.
"Hello! Is Emma Birch here?"
The sound of her own words bouncing back at her off the walls made her jump.
Olivia was lost, again. She had somehow ended up in the dungeons in some part she was unfamiliar with. The air was damp and cold making gooseflesh raise on her arms. With a slight shiver she continued down the hall, one hand grazing the cold stones as she went.
The thought of how complex and large Hogwarts had finally dawned on her when she really had no idea how to get back to a familiar area. The stories her grandparents had told her were always happening in a common room, a classroom, or out on the grounds. No one ever told her about all the nook and crannies. Olivia was excited to see what all Hogwarts held.
She had started her day’s journey just walking around aimlessly looking at all the paintings and saying hello occasionally. Students had been passing by and the occasional professor but for the most part she was left alone. As time went by people became fewer and she had started to construct a story of some adventure her grandparents had told her about that took place in a cave system in a faraway land. There were giant spiders and webs covered the ceiling. Before Olivia knew it, she was in the dungeons having no recollection of how she had made it here. Her feet and daydreaming were always getting her lost!
Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice up ahead.
“Hello! Is Emma Birch here?”
Who was Emma Birch? And why would someone be looking for them, did they get lost in the maze of the dungeons as well? Olivia was excited to see who was around the corner.
“Hello! Not Emma Birch but Olivia…Who is this?” She called out as she made her way toward the voice. Her feet carrying her faster than before.
