Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Mudblood.

It was an ugly and unclean word. Perfectly fit to describe the creature that sat across from her. She wanted to spit and hiss, and shout at this worm that was speaking to her. That had looked at her when she had first entered and had just looked her in the eye. A shudder passing through her of anger and rage, which she swallowed down. She kept herself in control, like a lady should. To act panicked would be unseemly, and to cause a scene when the man was simply sitting across from her was unnecessary. The only look of discomfort she had shown had been a twitch of her eyebrow, eyes turning back to the small cup of espresso set out in front of her.

His mouth was moving but she was not hearing anything. Nothing of importance, considering all he was speaking of was beauty and love. She knew better than to fall for such a trasparent tactic. She had been taught better than that.

Born after the Union of Alexandre Ricardus to Renetta Auditore, Silva had been educated by her mother about how the world worked. Renetta Auditore’s family had been small, but she had been smart. If a woman was not smart, she was not considered anything more than a toy, something to be given away without thought and perhaps adored for a time. Her lessons were simple. They started when Silva began her formal education. The most important thing was that your name was everything. The next thing that was taught was of course, the birds and the bees.

Renetta Auditore told her daughter, it was possible for her to find love in the world she should be living in. Silva could look for it if she wanted to. She could strive to marry a man that would adore her, and she would also adore him. The consequences were covered in those conversations also. Heartbreak was the most likely outcome. No matter how much a man said he loved you, it was likely a lie simply to get what they wanted. Destitution was next, especially if Silva married below her station in life. Disgrace, because she had tried and then failed.

He was still talking as she calmly sipped her coffee. Her obvious display of disinterest did not seem to deter him as he sidled up closer to her. She shuddered again, eyes closing as she took a deep breath in order to keep her calm. There were times where she should play the victim, but this was not one of them. The last of her espresso was poured into the man’s lap.

Making him jump up and curse her, the ardent affection and candor in his voice lost as he attempted to wipe off what he could of the dampness on his crotch.

Silva had kept her cool, even as he went on the offensive. Leaning in close again and moving to touch her.

He did not get the chance though as he felt something rest at his throat.

“Try it.” And he would regret it.

Her white aspen wand had been pulled out subtly from her sleeve, ready for the attack and ready to make him think twice. This is what her father taught her: A Ricardus should never be unprepared for a fight.

Neither should they back down from one.

Roleplay:
Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
The snow was not a problem.

The crowds were not a problem.

What was making her feel agitated was the fact that people forgot their manners when they were in a crowd. The cattle like mentality of it all where they grunted and huffed their way past others made bile rise in her throat. She wished to curse, and send the last person that had bumped into her without an apology through the shopping window beside her. The aura around her growing dangerously blacker as she seemed close to the breaking point.

This time of the year was not supposed to be spent outdoors, but like many others she had little choice in the matter. Supplies were running short in her small apartment, and she did not trust her house elf with the list of supplies she needed to acquire.

It was only one more block though.

She only had to walk one more block and then she would be out of the crowds and could relax by her small fireplace. The thought of the comforting and all encompassing warmth through her body made her close her eyes in a silent prayer for patience. Of course, as soon as she stopped just for one moment, something had happened.

Tinsel raining down upon her, and a doddering old oaf apologizing behind her.

She kept her back to the man. Glove hands clenching tightly into fists as she willed herself to not scream. Mustering every piece of will power and strength she had been taught as a child, to simply swallow down the desire to hex the man. A deep breath, followed by another and finally she turned to look at her
attacker. Her jaw tensed for a moment, eying him up and down for a moment before she began to attempt removing the strips of shiny paper from her apparel.

"This is not snow." She was not going to forgive the man, "And that was not a real apology." She would have him groveling at her feet for mercy when she was done with him.
