CHARACTER INFORMATION

Character Name: Felix Gwydion

Gender: Male

Age: 10

Bloodline: Pureblood

Parents/Guardians (Are they currently played characters?): Alexander Gwydion and Danica Prochazka(not currently played, both deceased)

Residence: Since the death of his caretaker, Miss Klimy, he uses various hidey-holes around Diagon Alley. (I plan to make the Hogsmeade Children's Home his more permanent home for at least part of his school years but that is something I wish to thread, to help develop him as a character.)

Do you plan to have a connection to a particular existing place (for example: the daycare)?
No.

Do you wish to be approved as a group with any other characters? If so who and for what IC reason?
No.

Please list any other characters you already have at the site:
Grimm Palatar and Vibuerus Blackrose(Edit: Whoops almost forgot him.)

Biography: (100 words minimum.) Born October 28, 1937 Felix and his parent's marriage were the only things connecting two traditional pureblood families. These families were the Gwydions and the Prochazkas. The Gwydions, a Welsh family, has for centuries claimed lineage to the powerful sorcerer and illusion master of Welsh mythology, Gwydion. And the Prochazka family, a Czech family, has for several decades claimed lineage to an ancient line of Bohemian wizards and witches famous for being accomplished at many skills, most notable Herbology and Wandcraft. One could say a great many things were to be expected of him when he was older.

That is had the confusion of the war not happened. His father courageously took up his wand to help defend his family, having already had experience working as an auror for the Ministry. Unfortunately his mother received word eight months later that his father's squad had been ambushed while out on patrol. He had been hit by a devastating curse and the medic had not been able to get to him in time to use the countercurse and repair the damage. Felix was three when his mother had received the death notification. On his sixth birthday his mother did not come home from the Ministry, "More overtime," she would always say when she would get home before collapsing on her bed and going to sleep. No doubt more of the Ministry had left to go fight the war. The overtime only helped to distance Felix from his mother until he didn't really see her as his mother anymore. Because of the war it seemed his mother worked nonstop. Leaving him in the care of Miss Klimy, a friendly old witch, who took care of him and taught him to read and write. But she was a frail old thing and in 1945, during the Hexenreich invasion after receiving word of his mother's death, Miss Klimy's old heart gave out. While Felix was able to stay at Miss Klimy's old house for a little while the property soon changed hands and he was put out on the street by a dangerous looking old man who believed him to be a squatter. On one of the old man's fingers he wore a very old and ornate ring, encrusted with gold and stamped with the letter G.

It had seemed his pureblood family had forgotten about him now that both his parents were died, his parents having been his only real ties to the family. Life on the street was tough, at first he went hungry if someone wasn't nice enough to give him anything. But he learned quickly from the other orphans how to survive, learning to pilfer and where to go when the weather got bad or when he needed a place to sleep. Felix's magic first began to appear around the time he was seven after his caretaker Miss Klimy had passed away and he had been thrown out on the street, a penniless orphan. He was attempting, for the third time, to steal some stale bread from the stall of a very angry man who, had the first two times chased him off with threatening looks and curses. But the hunger pains in his stomach were going nowhere and neither was he, till he got something to eat. With a fierce demeanor he walked with the crowd becoming part of the living sea only for a moment until he broke from it and slipped into the shadows near the bread stall. It was amazing the keen merchant had not noticed him yet, he never let him get this close the last two times. Finding him in the crowd Felix realized the bread merchant was with customers, acting quickly he tiptoed to the stall and grabbing several bread rolls, shoved them quickly into his pockets. Just as the merchant finished with the transaction and let out a loud angry roar as he realized what had happened, Felix had already made it into the shadows nearest to the merchant's stall. Hearing this all he could do was stand as still as he could, wishing nobody could see him. But nobody could find Felix because, to his amazement, he had blended with his surroundings.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Felix woke to a painful rumble in his belly, he had not been able to steal anything to eat the night before and his stomach was not happy about it. Getting up from the thin hay bed he had been sleeping on, after stretching he took stock of his situation. "No food, no water,..." Looking down at his clothes he realized they had gotten too small for him due to how much he had been growing recently and he'd need to get new ones soon. "...no money," he let out with a sigh. "Well might as well see if I can't get some breakfast," he said as he walked by Godric Park. That was just when he heard "You!", panic and fear shot into his mind. There was a reason he had come here, he had tried to steal from some of the strange speaking people who were now all over Diagon Alley and they almost hit him with a curse of some sort, thankfully he managed to dodge it. Ever since he has been wary of who he steals from. As he glanced fearfully around the park, his green eyes full of panic, peaked out from under his wild dirty blonde hair. "...Do you want to play?" Looking up at the girl who had extended the social invitation he began to draw into himself, for he was not a social person. Turning he shot off down an alleyway.
