Biography:
Siobhan's family is very large and spread all around Europe. She had lived with her parents and two brothers her entire life in a pretty large house. Her mother, Aisling, has always had a passion for Muggles, and therefore worked as a nurse. Her father didn't like that, and a lot of arguments led to divorce when Siobhan was two years old.
She and her brothers, were raised by Aisling, whilst their father left the country.
At a very young age, Siobhan developed a love for reading. They didn't have money, since their mother didn't earn much and their father only sent a few Sickles once a month. She read her brothers' books, she borrowed from neighbours and family friends. All the Mag Raith kids did little jobs for people in order to get a few more pocket money, but the truth was they were a very poor family.
When the eldest brother, Lucas, turned eleven and got his Hogwarts letter, the struggle they went trough would be difficult to forget even years later. Aisling had been saving money for two years, and she had to ask lots of favors that buried her in debts. They arrived in London in three days, but no one complained. While Lucas was excited to go to school and their mother would've done anything for them, Siobhan and her other brother, Barry, were just keen to see another place rather than Galway. They were not disappointed, even though the only part of the city they saw was the way to Diagon Alley.
Seeing so many wizards and witches in one place, all the buildings she was looking at, Siobhan had never been happier in her life. Though only six years old at the time, she could already see herself at Hogwarts, finally at Hogwarts.
One year later, the Sickles Siobhan's father used to send stopped coming. At first, Aisling reckoned he had given up helping them, but a few weeks later, a letter from London arrived. It said that Patrick Mag Raith had died in the war abroad and that his body hadn't been found. Aisling wasn't that devastated, but now they wouldn't have any more wizard money. So she quit her job and started working for a wizard shop in Galway.
Their financial status improved and they started living more like a wizard family. Now they could afford more stuff, and the three kids started receiving pocket money every week, Siobhan kept saving it all for the books she had yearned for her entire life.
When it was Barry's turn to go to Hogwarts, it was the first time Siobhan traveled by Floo powder. She enjoyed it, though her brothers were rather reluctant. This time, after they visited Diagon Alley and waved her brothers goodbye, she and her mother stayed a few days in London, and Siobhan got to see the city.
Her Hogwarts letter arrived early in the morning. She didn't go to her bedroom the last night, having fallen asleep in the living room while reading one of Lucas's textbooks. The mere sight of her name on the envelope made her overjoyed. The thought she will finally actually go to the school caused a few sparks to blow.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

House Request: Ravenclaw

Personality:
Siobhan is an ambitious and dedicated person. She sets high goals and works hard to achieve them (and she usually does), and she can adjust to anything and everything, be it a deadline or a very specific topic. Siobhan is a innate leader and hates to be given orders, thought she does not count rules as orders. She is all about fairplay, honesty and justice.
She may be stubborn at times, so stubborn that she fails to see things as they are. She can get authoritarian if she's in charge of something.
Her ultimate goal is to have opened every last book in the Hogwarts library. She's thirsty to know anything she can learn, be it from reading or experience.

Appearance:
Dark blue eyes, just like her mother's. Siobhan is short and frail. She has long, black lashes and defined traits. She has long, red hair and side-swept bangs. She has a love for scarves and floral patterns. When she was little, she used to have freckles that faded in time. Now, they can be spotted only if you look very closely. Siobhan has a tic to curl thin strands of hair on her fingers when she is concentrating or when she's nervous.

Option 1

Walking the corridors of the dungeons, why not? Siobhan had only been down there for the Potions class and she wondered what she could find if she searched somewhere else.
As soon as she found the main corridor, she could feel the cold air around her. With a little shiver, she kept going. It was so quiet that she almost hated it. The only thing she could hear were her steps on the stone floor, echoing in the halls.
After a while, she was almost ready to admit that coming down there was a bad idea, a very bad one. Siobhan wasn't scared of the dark, but the dungeons gave her a strange feeling, like fingers tickled her spine and someone was pressing her lungs.
The voice of a girl interrupted her thoughts. "Hello! Is Emma Birch here?" she said.
Siobhan looked around. She couldn't see much, but she could make out the silhouette of a little girl wandering in the distance.
"There's no Emma Birch here," Siobhan replied. "It's just me."
