Biography: (100 words minimum.)

Flora Darcy is the nine year old cousin of Clara Darcy and daughter of Silas and Magnolia Darcy. She and her identical twin Fauna still reside at Courtland Hill, their lavish home that reflects Flora's own spoilt and bold nature. This wealthy, girly, pure blooded, vain youngster with a superiority complex the size of her head hopes to join her Cousin in the house of the snakes. Mischievous and wicked...this cunning and intelligent little lady embodies most of what Slytherin stands for and would make a perfect addition.

Flora is rather mean and dislikes her brother Alex for stealing all the attention of distant and cold father Silas. Her obvious need for her father's love and approval and lack of receiving it a likely reason for her personality living a bit to be desired. Despite being shallow and irritable she's closest to her far nicer twin sister Fauna whom she tends to treat badly (usually without really realizing it) and takes advantage of. Flora must always be the center of attention and due to her sister's unwavering loyalty...poor Fauna is usually left out of the spotlight while Flora is front and center.

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

It was a rather decent day outside today. That was her mother's excuse for exiling her from Courtland Hill and insisting she get some fresh air and sun. It was completely unfair in Flora's humble opinion because her twin Fauna hadn't been forced out as well and who knew where Alex was. Alex, her bratty brother honestly the least of her concern as she recalled yet another incident of him stealing the spotlight and her father's attention along with it.

She wasn't sure why her father Silas seemed so distant or prefered Alex over the other children...but it was the truth. She fought hard at every turn to change the man's mind and yet...it granted her nothing but more pain and contempt for her sibling. But that didn't matter at this particular moment because right now she has a more amusing scene to occupy her mind.

The girl seemed to be being left behind and was looking rather worn down in Flora's mind. It wasn't that she didn't think girls capable of playing boys games. She personally just didn't see much of a point in ruining her nice and fancy dress in order to prove herself to someone obviously beneath her. That was when she heard the girl speak directly to her. Rudely at that.

"First off...any hopes you had at getting me to agree which...by the way were nill to start with, crumbled when you just exclaimed 'You!' like you're a common street urchin." She commented in distaste before taking a sigh and a deep breath. "Second...I'd never play such a filthy game...it might wrinkle or soil my dress." She added.
