Hey hello, and welcome to the site!
One quick question before approving - in your bio, you refer to Pandora going to Hogwarts in the autumn. As you're now applying for her to be in Elsewhere instead, are you planning to RP her still under a private tutor, or where is she going to be?

Hey hey!
Welcome to the site! Your app looks good, but just a few edits before we can approve:
-- Your biography looks great, but our wizarding world just recently slipped back in time from the 1970s to 1937 just last term, with all the muggles disappearing. How would the loss of her mother have affected Nyoko? Were they still close after she moved to be with her father? How else would the loss of the muggle world she'd known affect her, if at all?
-- In your roleplay sample, by saying that Nyoko hugged James, you've controlled James' actions (what if James' player decided he was a really shy boy and probably would have dodged the hug?). Mind editing your roleplay so that you leave room for James to react?
-- Also, we'd like to see the characters interact in the roleplay. By having Nyoko walk off right after, James doesn't get the chance to respond or continue the conversation as in an actual roleplaying scenario. Mind changing this part as well so James can theoretically respond as well?
If you could make the changes and repost your application as a reply here, we'll take another look!

First off, welcome to the site! We love to see new members.
Your app looks great, but just two tiny edits before we can approve:
-- In your roleplay response, you have Chayce patting James on the shoulder, but this is considered powerplaying here (what if James' player decided James didn't want to be patted or wanted to dodge it instead?). Mind editing that part to leave room for James to respond instead?
-- The roleplay bit is ideally to have the characters interact. By having Chayce just walk off, there doesn't seem to be any room for James to continue the conversation. If you could change up that part as well so that the characters have a chance to continue (as if this were a roleplayed scene), that would be great too!
If you make the edits and repost it as a reply here, we'll take a second look!

So our school applications open for new students applying this Saturday, December 1st. If you don't mind sitting tight until then, that's when you'll be able to post your app as well as access our Summer Camp board and meet all the rest of the characters here.
If you'd like to get started now, our Elsewhere applications for adult characters are open year-round. Just scroll down and create an adult character if that suits your fancy!

Hey hey! Great app - and I know you've been working on this one for a while and it shows. A few things though: 1) We can't have underage sexual activity on these boards (see Site Ratings here), and I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to edit the parts in his biography that refer to him having an affair at age 13. 2) You mentioned in his biography that he was a Slytherin Prefect in his 5th year. Because this site has been around for so long, the Slytherin prefects for when Phinneas would have been a 5th year would have been actual, RPd out characters. Would you mind editing that as well, just so we stay in line with RPd out site past? Please repost your application as a reply to this thread here, and we'll take another look! -- Wally.

One minor change though - in the RP sample, you have Owen walking away from Astrid and ending the thread there. Ideally, if this were a real thread, you would leave some room for Astrid's player to respond and for the thread to continue. Would you mind editing it so that Astrid has a chance to respond too?

Hey hello!
Love the app, but one small detail:
You wrote your bio as if Noah had been a student here at Hogwarts all along, which is great! Unfortunately, that means a prank as big as the one you mentioned (burning down of the team changing rooms) right before the last Quidditch game would involve powerplaying a lot of the characters that were around for that game at that year, as well as powerplaying our previous Headmaster (who was probably quite merciful) with the detention bit.
Would you mind editing your bio so that we avoid this powerplaying? Or you could write that Noah had previously been at another school and that this was what had happened there.
Whatever you choose, if you could make the changes and repost your bio as a reply to this thread, we'd be happy to take a second look!

Hello!
I believe as a rule of thumb (let me try and dig up the actual thing for you though) you are not allowed to have more than one alt in the same class. So say, you can't have both the brother and sister in the same class, but if you have one taking advanced and the other beginners, that would be okay.
